I placed my order through drive thru and ordered a caldo. I went straight home (5 minutes, tops). As I unpacked my caldo with eager anticipation, I was disappointed by barely lukewarm soup. I had to reheat my own soup and they have the nerve to charge that service fee for using a card... Never again... And does anybody local still make caldo with transparent broth? Caldo broth should not look orange red...SMH I miss my Mom

I ordered their food through Doordash and that can be a gamble. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the food. We got their asada quesadilla plate, a hamburger&fries, and the tortilla soup. The food was delicious. I will order from here again.

Server took our order and the Togo cashier brought our food to the table. Then no one came by to check on us. I had to get up and get refills for our drinks. Paying out I was telling the girl about the service and she seemed not to care, brushing me away. But she was pretty quick for me to sign the bill. $29 not worth it. Odem location is so much better

It is unfortunate that this restaurant is going downhill. It usually is a good place, but for the past times that I have been there to order the food has been wrong. Order asada meat got chicken. Order chicken, got meat, corn and flower tortillas are cold, stale. Some plates that have tortillas even miss tortillas. I am not tempted to go back again, I taugh maybe lets give another change, but when it is the 5 or 6 times, they get it wrong. It is not worth it.

Just left this place. Have eaten here before but the last three times Ive been I have been COMPLETELY disappointed with the service today, the food on the previous lunch here about three weeks ago. The restaurant can EASILY seat 80-100 people very easily. Today at lunch the restaurant had a total of maybe 14 people including myself in the restaurant. I ordered a plate of three tostadas @ 12:04pm. It took them 14 minutes to get the food out to me. Sounds like a normal wait time for a packed restaurant. But not for three simple easy tostadas that require no extra cooking. Its only refried beans, lettuce and cheese and tomatoes. All the food for this meal is already cut up this morning or shredded from the large bag of cheese. This place is going downhill FAST

Dude this place sucks I ordered a Jalisco burrito plate for $11.75 substituted the rice and beans for French fries and added ex cheese & a fajita taco it came out to $20 first of all and then no extra cheese at all went back and she tried to charge me another 2.50 she got mad and told him something in Spanish he put the cheese on my burrito & went to the back with my food no telling what he done with my food it took a long time to get my plate back I would never go back to this place again I dont even know if he spit in my food or not word of advice just dont pay $2.50 for extra cheese because you will not get it at all in the french fries That was supposed to be seasoned is not even cooked all the way so they lied on the french fries too they are not seasoned fries.... Today we went for dinner we ordered the quesadillas plate they look good and my nice ordered the chicken strips with fries the service was excellent at first but when they brought out are plates on my nices fries there was a Roch so my sister told one of the waitress she ask if we wanted a new order we said yes so they took the plate to the back one or two minutes later they brought the plate it was the same plate they just remove the Roch and cut the chicken strips in half I know it was the same chicken strips why would they cut youthe chicken strips the waitress kept avoiding ustill we left this is a place I will not be going go back...

I love this place but they never give an itemized receipt sometimes our bills are so outrageous and idk what there adding or if the menu prices are what they are coming up to the register. And when I ask how much was this its always HUH ,like girl I know you speak both English and Spanish . They press more buttons on the dang register than what we have on our ticket. They need to give there customers an itemized bill! That is all. The food is good. Especially the menudo and tortilla soup and the happy hours but they put a 5 limit on all there happy hour drinks. Parking: Its a small parking lot w a laundry matt and a cell phone store in this little shopping center. If the restaurant is busy you have to park on the street and its NOT the best neighborhood . So make sure to lock your doors.

If youre ever in the Ayers area across from the old Butterkrust building and youre looking for some good Mexican food, this is the place. The caldo and the menudo are so flavorful and delicious. The atmosphere is great as well. You have the option to sit in a booth or table. They also have a bar if youre eating solo and want more of a stick to yourself kind of vibe. The wait staff is very attentive and nice. Its a thumbs up for in dining for me.

This place is HORRIBLE! We were fighting flies while eating, food presentation was awful, had foreign objects in salsa , ranch dressing, and ketchup . The chicken in my quesadilla was RAW !! We didnt like the food so we returned it and informed them it was under cooked. Still tried to give them a chance and ordered another plate. In the end they charged us for the food. Have eaten here before and it was ok. Tried again today. Totally unpleasant...2 women and 1 man sitting at the restaurants bar. No doubt theyd been there for a while as they were close to intoxicated. Could be they were just getting started but they were loud, we didnt mind the laughing but then they started using foul language. Neither management nor workers approached to tell them to tone it down until we complained. This is a family establishment and theres a time and a place for that type of behavior. In todays society itll probably seem normal or acceptable, but we will definitely not return. The food was not that good that Id be willing to accept offensive language. No doubt there will be some who complain about this as being normal behavior but thats not where I want to spend an evening having dinner. The people there looked pretty chummy with waitstaff so they could be regulars.

If there was a no stars I would probably not give them any!!! So upset at this place and the service from management themselves. Didn t know how to handle the situation went through the drive through ordered some Carne Asada fries and mi d you $10 and what I was given was not bear what they had on the picture when asked the manager who was at the window she stated that she wasn t the cook and that she wasn t going to do anything about it that what I ordered is what I got very rude and very unprofessional at that. I asked her why the meat was burned and she stated that is how all the meat was my little girl didn t even want to touch it that s how unappealing this was. I don t recommend it one but there especially the service from the so called upper management there. When I told her I was going to review this facility she stated she didn t care. I ordered Tacos and a nacho supreme and it came with 5 chips . We asked for a couple more chips they wanted to charge us $3 for 5 more chips. But it took 16 minutes for them to acknowledge us. Briana the new manager, stood in front of us for over ten minutes taking orders and telling us shes busy to wait. We waited and in the end we were going to pay $3 for 5 more chips. I noticed shes not like that with her boyfriend or his family. But oh well. Politics. Does anyone else have this problem here? We found this place by chance because the other mexican place we were heading to was very shady looking. It was late almost closing time but the staff was nice and seated us no questions. Very local place, not touristy at all. Our meal was amazing, I had a delicious huge soft taco, and the made to order guacamole this was the best guacamole Ive ever had, right combination of all the ingredients chopped perfectly, huge portion at $6.99 I could of just eaten this with chips and not been able to finish it. My husband had the lengua tacos, which he enjoyed, and my son had Cheese quesadillas and cheese enchilada.

Unfortunately we couldn t eat anything because everything had some sort of meat or meat broth! The owner s daughter (one in blue hair) tried her best to concoct something but to no avail! She did strike up a long meaningful conversation! We just had a beer and awesome chips and left! Never had we met such honest owners! An average waiter would not have bothered to tell us the truth! I wouldnt even rate this restaurant at 1:00 my experience there was very very bad I sat in the Drive-Thru for 30 minutes for one taco a potato and sausage and it took 30 minutes to make my freaking taco and the lady at the drive-thru was rude to me and then when I got the taco I looked at it and it was a tiny Taco with very little inside of it and I paid almost $3 for that and then at that they forgot to put any sauce in there and it tasted just very nasty

My favorite place for breakfast, its only a block away from where I live, so Im here frequently. I mostly call in my order and pick up through drive through, occasionally I dine in with family and the atmosphere is great. Service is great, no complaints. I recommend their Big Texas Breakfast: Eggs, Bacon, hash browns, 2 Texas size toast. I love their green chili, I add it to my hash browns. Its pretty goog, lol. Great place and great people here, highly recommend!

Check your food before you eat it for hairs, they dont wear hairnets and make sure you order Asada so they dont try and front with their ground beef mix. so many issues I order chips and salsa they give me chips and queso. I order a breakfast taco so many times for lunch and takes 20 mins for them to cook an egg while other people behind me are getting their orders. Every time I ask for a fork or spoon at the window they always say ok and as I pull up to line to wait for a egg taco smh 20 mins and still I get no fork. I would not recommend and will not go there again. Horrible
