Great place to visit if you have toddlers and such, as this place is not that far from DFW and the garden is small enough that you will finish within 2 hours. Even though the garden is small but it is so beautifully decorated and a lot of things happening, you will not realize how time flies.

Breathtaking. This place is gorgeous and quiet. It took about 30 minutes to walk the grounds, and it was primarily canopy covered, so you werent in the direct sun on a hot Texas day. They do not take cash, so be prepared to pay with a card. We had a lovely time wandering around and really enjoyed all the koi fish and water features.

We went here for the first time today as a family. It was absolutely gorgeous, the only thing I wish I would have done is worn jeans because my legs got bit up by mosquitos. There were also those cicada killers I know I m spelling that wrong but those things are ginormous. It was really just lovely and peaceful though.

This park is not honoring the Fort Worth Batanical Garden Members pass. The Clark Gardens, in Weatherford, I believe, honors the Fort Worth Batanical Gardens (F.W.B.G.) Pass for entry. Both gardens are very beautiful and enjoyed. :)

We ve lived here for two years and just visited Chandor Gardens today! What a hidden gem! The gardens surrounding the house are stunning and create such a serene feeling. A truly not to be missed experience. The one mile nature walk across the parking lot covers two ecosystems. It was a lovely, shady stroll past so many Texas native plants and wildflowers. We enjoyed meeting Cody who works at the gardens. He even sent us home with some plants which were left over from the last planting! How nice was that???

I traveled from Dallas to Chandor Gardens after a two-hour drive, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Although the garden is relatively small and can be explored in about an hour, its beauty and tranquility make it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a book. For those who appreciate peace and quiet, I recommend visiting on weekdays.

Although this place is beautiful, the manager Melissa is a nightmare. She was extremely rude to my family and I when we were taking pictures (with our phones) of my little sister. We came in on a Saturday (March 16) but there was a sign saying event was cancelled because of the rain. I called the office and they said we could still come, when we paid, the office said if the rain got too bad we could come back on Sunday. As we started walking around the rain became too heavy so we left and came back the next day (Sunday). When we were there Melissa came out and asked if we were taking pictures, I said yes, we have been taking some with our phones and explained when we came the day before the office person said we could come in today (Sunday) if the rain got too bad. Melissa laughed and said no, there was no one there yesterday they closed because of the weather. I then let her know about calling on Saturday and explained everything. She then laughed at us and said she knows what happened, she s the manager she continued to mock us and walked away. I then went to the office where Melissa was and showed her my bank account where I had been charged on Saturday, she continued to argue saying I m the manager, no one was here . I told her I didn t appreciate her insinuating that I am lying, when I am clearly have proof of us being there, how else would I have been charged on Saturday??? Melissa continued to argue saying she never once called me liar, and I explained how she insinuated we were lying to her. Apparently she doesn t know what insinuated means, because no, she never outright called me a liar, but she argued saying we weren t there. Anyways, the point of this review is the hope that Weatherford educates their manager on how to appropriately handle situations, coming to my family and mocking us in front of others was not okay, and then insinuating we lied to her when there was clear proof, was also not okay. Do better Melissa.

Our tour today from Elizabeth was so educational and Im very excited to bring friends for relaxing nature time. They have the most beautiful and meticulous garden designed with bridges and multiple areas, even a nature trail on the undeveloped 15 acres!!
