I recently visited Charley s Philly Steak #739 at Tanger Outlet Mall, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I spent over $33.42, drove 15 minutes to get there, and another 15 minutes back home. Despite having had good experiences at this location before, this time was an exception. There were missing items from my order, and the food, to my surprise, tasted bitter. I tried to address my concerns by calling, but I was hung up on twice. This raises questions about the training and attention to detail among the crew. Its unusual for this location, and I hope there can be a swift improvement. Perhaps some retraining for the staff or cooks could make a significant difference.

Food was ok. Not great. Bread had decent flavor, but a weird chewy consistency. Like a bread flavored yoga mat. Prices are crazy high for the quality of food you are getting. Sandwich combo with an extra side of fries was $23.00. Will not be returning.

For a place within the food court of a shopping plaza, it is an EXCELLENT option, the food is abundant in every sense, very well served, the flavor is delicious and the service and attention are excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

They were serving French fries in a styrofoam cup, I don t know if it s common practice, but inevitably the cups fall and fries were everywhere. The manager wouldn t give me a new one even though it s on them. Ridiculous!!!

I dont know if it was just unlucky or if this is just the quality of the Philly cheese steak here, but I received my order in a timely manner, only to have the most disappointing cheese steak of my like. The meat was dry and unseasoned; nearly flavorless. There was the lightest amount of cheese and the most papery bacon on earth (I could see through it). The sandwich came with lettuce and tomato - which do not belong on a proper Philly, which I can just remove - and was so inundated with mayo that the bread was soggy. The jalapeño, cheddar, bacon fries were a significant let down as well. They barely had any cheese, bacon, jalapeño, and also lacked any seasoning. Excellt service, but some of the blandest food Ive ever had in my life.

Horrible!! I can think of two times a restaurant in a food court should be prepared for a crowd, Back to school and Christmas. They were unprepared and there was hardly any meat in the sandwiches. Charlies is a pretty good place to get a bite to eat if youre looking for something a little different than your normal chain restaurants even though it is a chain restaurant it still is a little different for us because we dont eat there on a regular basis. the service is good at this location and so is the food it was nice and hot and tasted fresh.

Extremely rude I can agree 100% with each and every negative comment that is on here. I m sitting at the food court after ordering, still in shock and disbelief of how bad the customer service is here. The man at the register (doesn t have a name tag but he has tattoos and a hat on) took my order while sitting his behind on the counter with his half body turned away from me, never gave any eye contact and mumbled the whole time like I was ordering. It was like I was bothering him on his day off. I honestly don t know how someone like this can hold a job specially in customer service. Not only was his whole attitude trash but his behind should not be touching the counters at all. It is urgent that this be changed because this is just unbelievable and it is not what I want to see or experience when I come and enjoy a good shopping experience and a good meal with my family. In addition as a local resident it is very embarrassing that other people who come from far to this outlet mall get to see these type of behavior which can leave someone with the worst impression of this place. I will be contacting corporate .
