A great and beautiful place to hike, bike, explore, and fish. The property has a pavilion with seating for shade and a rather large grill open to HOA members. Toilets: There are no restrooms available here.

Nice walking trail that is mostly visible and safe. Be sure to go during the day, though. There are no lights at night. It is a mile loop from start to finish, and there are many turtles and birds to see. Playground: There is no playground here, but just up the road is a small one. Toilets: There are no public restrooms in Providence Village. Dog-friendliness: We walked our dog here a lot on leash. They have bags and trash cans for clean up. Picnic area: There is a picnic area with lots of bugs and spiders to join you.

Very peaceful Dog-friendliness: People walk their dogs around the lake Picnic area: Shaded about 8 tables and electric outlets to plug in

Little elm has so many amazing walking areas with lakes and ponds in the center. This one is located perfectly at the back of the neighborhood. It is a huge lake with plenty of distance to walk or ride a bike. The rules do say no boats allowed, it is catch and release for the fish as well. Make sure you have your license as I did actually see the park ranger today as I was leaving.

Its a nice lake. The sunsets and sunrises are beautiful. There is a one mile loop trail around the lake for walking, running or biking. You will find some white ducks swimming in the lake. I also spotted several black vultures perching on a tree nearby. Look out for swarms of tiny insects near the shore. I dont believe they are harmful, but I wouldnt want to stick my face in it. Boats and kayaks are allowed and there is a convenient ramp by the parking lot. This lake is however not open for outsiders.

This is a private park. Dont come unless you live here. Its a nice 25 acre lake with frisbee golf and a mile and a quarter paved walking trail around the lake. Lovely all year round. No swimming, no gas motors on the water, very limited parking. Handicapped accessible parking. Pavilion, grills, seating, fishing, e.t.c.

Very beautiful lake to have right down the street. The sidewalk going around it is 1 mile with markers every quarter mile, so its great for running and exercing. I like to walk over to the lake after work and just take in the veiw for a few minutes to releave stress. The path also gos through a wooded area so thats nice too. At least a few people are always there so dont expect to be alone unless you go off the path and into the forest (be careful if you do). Its never what Id consider crowded though. Theres also disc golf but I dont see people using the goals to often. If youre feeling a little adventures you can go off the path and through the forest to get to lake Lewisville, i think its lake Lewisville. Providence village is man made by the way if that matters to anyone. My only suggestions is to add a gymnastics/ pull-up bars and make the sidewalk around the lake more skateboard friendly (as in fill in the cracks/ gaps between every square. Basically make it smoother) Oh and theres a pokie stop there (Pokemon go)

As the largest of the 5 Great lakes within providence village, this body of water is everything youd hoped it would be. Roaring rapids, incredible waterfalls and a 3 legged turtle are only a few of the natural wonders you will discover while exploring 120 miles of beautiful rocky shoreline. I was forced to give it only 4 stars because of the lack of a lakeside Starbucks. Be sure to visit this natural treasure before it dries up for the summer!
