The burger was cooked pretty spot on. I decided to try the fried pickles. Its definitely not my favorite. Too much breading and whatever type of breading they chose it held on to the grease! I ate about 3 and stopped. So, that needs to be worked on. One other thing on the grease, it needed to be changed because although the pickles and fries were not burt, they tasted like overused grease. However, the burgers were on point, and that was the main reason I was there, so I will still give it a 4. Just step up the fry game.

Ordered pickup through Chow Now 3 days ago. Large order of fried pickles wasnt in the bag. Also, my wifes shroom burger had two quarter-size brown pieces of paper inside the burger. Not very appetizing. Needless to say, we are not happy. Tried calling the store several times, but no answer. Messaged through the website... Nothing. Messaged through Facebook... Nothing. Tried to settle the matter privately, but now have to resort to a public forum. I would like to be contacted, please, but Im not hopeful.

This is my first time trying this place, I was genuinely so excited. The service I received was great, the lady at the counter was kind and helpful. Unfortunately after informing her of my allergy to cheese and asking to leave it off the burger. I received a burger with cheese, the meal cost 20 dollars and I can t even eat the burger. I am highly dissatisfied with my experience and will not be returning

We ordered a pick up order. We live five minutes away but the fries were soggy. We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich which was ok, but not very flavorful. The beef burger was cooked well but wasn t seasoned at all. The onion rings are those cornmeal battered style and partially burned. I wouldn t order these again.

The menu on the counter had 1 price, but I was charger almost $2.00 more. When I inquired, I was told that sometimes the prices change. However, the price I expected to be charged was on the counter beside the register. I asked to speak to the manager, who I was told was not there. They refunded my money. I feel it is bad business to display one price, especially at the register where orders are taken, then charge a higher price. Then, be unwilling to make the price adjustment. I should have returned the entire order because the burger, bun, and meat, we not up to par.

This place is great!!! I was disappointed about the review that said that hair was found in the food. I go to this establishment at least once a week since they opened and know all of the staff. There is no way that incident happened. The management and staff give excellent customer service. The young man mentioned is one the most caring employees. The burger I ordered came with what appeared to be a LARGE PUBIC HAIR. After throwing up the young Spanish boy with a gold chain around gis neck (idk his name) went to the back of the establishment to laugh, which could clearly be seen. When I asked for management I was told their a franchise and the owner was unreachable. Absolutely disgusting. Dont go here. Ever. And this used to be my FAVORITE burger spot.

Searched eatery within walking distance to accommodate a 30 min lunch. Used the maps to pull up website and went thru the steps to locate the closest location to my job. When arriving to restaurant was informed that store doesn t offer online so it was for another location. After explaining this was my one biweekly treat to myself for a good meal could the order be transferred. Was told I could call other location and they could refund and I could re order in person where I was. When calling the other store they refused to cancel the order as they have done with other patrons as told to me by the employee. They refused to transfer the order. They refused to allow me to pick up a new order after work unless they left it in a warmer for over 5 hours and that s the best they could do. The employee expressed this happens all the time and they have never given anyone else a problem. Never will I spend $16 at an establishment who has no regard for customer service and solutions for pre existing problems to financially gain without delivering the product as if anyone has money to waste these days. Their unwillingness to acknowledge an ongoing system error and nonchalance towards the situation is the root cause that I will be sharing with anyone to Also not support this business. There are a multitude of options for food choices making it unnecessary to except unsavory business practices. The website offers catering mobile food truck and curbside service and they did not utilize any of those options to resolve the problem. A waste of $9 burger and $4.25 fries. I only had time to order a cheese chili fry to have some kind of lunch and it was okay at best with an additional $6 cost. Definitely not worth it.

I also noticed some discrepancies between the menu pricing listed on their wall and what I was charged. Almost a month ago I placed an online order to a different location. To no fault of my own the order went to the wrong location. I called immediately to see how we could resolve the issue. However, the manager I spoke to over the phone, Maria, refused to give me a refund or even refer the order to the desired location. I will never patronize this business again. I attempted to dispute with my bank, but it s becoming an hassle because this restaurant uses a 3rd party (Chow Now) service to do pickup orders. Regardless of who s fault it is (the restaurant or Chow Now), the customer should not have to suffer.

They need to wear gloves when preparing the food. The worker used her bare hands to put the fries in the bag and after I complained to the cashier I saw that the cook didn t have on gloves either and the cook scratched his head and continued to cook. I tried the location at Broadway & Cullen a few weeks ago, and was sadly disappointed. Customer service was not good, I couldn t tell who was supposed to take my order as workers were aimlessly walking around. Our burgers were ok, but not great. The fries & onion rings were so old tasting and greasy we ended up throwing most of it in the trash. I ordered a kids cheeseburger for my daughter and got home with chicken strips instead. She didn t like her food either. I spent about $40 for food that mostly went in the trash. Very disappointing, not sure if I got the weekend crew with people not wanting to do their jobs or what, but I wouldn t waste my time and money here again.

Great customer service this evening. My wife and I wanted a lettuce wrap burger and they were out of leaf lettuce. Fresh, juicy burgers are the highlight here and Jax doesnt disappoint in that arena. The beef is a grade above most of the competition, too. The fries and onion rings leave a bit to be desired and if I were you, Id pass em right up because by the time youre done with this burger, you wont need em. The prices range from 7 bucks up to 11 dollars depending on your choice. I recommend the Baja burger if you like jalapenos!

Wasnt friendly at all. I thanked Hector for taking my order and he said nothing. When my food was ready he just put on counter and said here you go and went back to the kitchen area. The only time I was thanked was when I put money in the tip jar and it was from another lady not serving me. The Chicken Tenders were good. I did not get the Honey Mustard I asked for. Hector E. wasnt paying much attention to me so he must have missed me asking for it. The Frito Pie was extremely dry. 40% of the pie was dry chips. Wasnt enough chili or cheese to spread evenly throughout the pie. Disappointed. The 3320 Broadway location has much better service and food.

Took 2 hours for one burger and some fries. $16 and the burger was a huge disappointment. Super bland, no seasoning, and dry like a desert. I make better and juicier burgers at home. The best part about the burger was the bun. Sad. This place was so hyped up I can t believe the burger was such a let down. Will not be back. Rather go to Whataburger or even Mcdonalds smh

The burger I had was not the best and neither was the so-called chicken sandwich. The chicken was literally too hard and was tenders on a bun. The only things I did enjoy were the sweet potato fries and vanilla shake

I was in the neighborhood laying a family member to rest and decided to try this place. I was very impressed. The chicken sandwich w jalapeños was really good (I put mine on toast) the whole family enjoyed. A young kid took care of us who was very kind and polite. He asked us was it our first time and explained the menu. A lil pricey but it was worth every dime. I would definitely recommend this place, hope I can find one close by my home.

Jaxs has been around a while, but we only recently discovered it, thanks in large part to my daughters choir coupons. Their burgers are great and they will cook to order. I get mine medium rare. The fries and onion rings are plentiful and full of flavor. My daughters love their shakes. I know this is sacrilege to say, but I think they are better than Killens Burgers. And you get a lot more for your dollar. Give them a shot next time you are hungry for a great burger!
