By far the WORST experience with a so called Medical professional Dr. Phillips lack of professionalism was atrocious speaking about other medical facilities in a condescending manner turned me completed off I was already in pain and she made my situation worse I would never go back to her Dr. Philips medical staff was courtesy and kind..it was the only thing good about that unfortunate visit.

The scheduling coordinator, Anna, was incessantly arguing with me. She was acting as if she were the doctor, telling me what needed to be done. I wanted to see Dr. Phillips for my lab work and check-up, but she insisted that I had to come three times to see her before the doctor could draw my lab. When I mentioned that I am a registered nurse myself and that this is not how things should work in the medical field, she refused to listen and abruptly hung up on me without confirming any appointment. The doctor or nurse practitioner at the clinic needs to address Annas rude and impatient behavior over the phone.

Wish I could give zero stars. The wait was ridiculous. Staff drinking QT drinks and talking about personal matters as we wait almost 30 minutes. They lights was off only slight lighting from window. Dr P is just as rude as her receptionist she was saying what did or didn t happen when my child was telling her symptoms and what she experienced. Waited for this appointment for three weeks to be highly disappointed. Want my copay back cause she wasn t helpful at all

Dr. Pamela Phillips has been my primary care doctor for more than 5 years. She is knowledgeable in all areas of her practice and takes the time to actually sit down and listen to your concerns. She genuinely cares about your health and will partner with you on your wellness journey. She is not going to sugarcoat any issue, she is going to shoot straight with you. Her full transparency is one of many things I love about Dr. Phillips and some may interpret it another way, but for me I want directness. Her Medical Assistant is the best. The entire team is friendly! Ive recommended her to all of my family and friends.

Dr. Phillips is really banking on the semiglutide trend for weight loss. She s literally having a weight club you pay $425 a month plus she bills your insurance for visits once a month that includes the medication but only a one month supply. That is shameful.If they would have explained over the phone I wouldn t have wasted my time & insurance copay.

At first I was hesitant being I had a bad experience with Drs. Not being personable I prayed before I found this Dr. She is definitely a God send the first time visiting with her and her professional team Mrs Pam Phillips is amazing! I was sad overwhelmed somewhat had given up on Drs Mrs.Phillips made me feel like a brand new person seemed to be totally in tune with what s going on with my body professional straight shooter and about 10 minutes in I knew I wanted to keep her as my provider somehow I just knew.. and I don t trust that easily I feel great about working with her to get me in a better state of health and mental strong. If the question is asked to recommend this clinic hell yes even would recommend my last physicians to Mrs.Phillips.sometimes they may just need to see a reminder of what a real physician does and how they interacts with their clients! Terrible customer service. Mindy is very mean spirited and nasty. I do not think this clinic likes people of color or expects for them to be financially behind.Rude from even walking in. Couldn t run my card with Navy Federal and asking for another payment method and it was not a money issue probably simply inputting the information wrong. Waste of time. Go somewhere else. Never got seen. Co pay only $20 with my insurance and I have to go back an forth that I need another payment method because the receptionist is manually entering numbers and can t figure it out. I have no problem with any other doctor that is up to date.

If I could give negative -100 I would. I went to Philips Family Medical, because I had been in the icu for 3 days for my high blood pressure, which was at a dangerous level, and I need the doctor s office to keep it stabilized. When Pamela Philips checked it in the office, my blood pressure was 180/ 80. She said that was normal. Any sane and intelligent person know that a normal blood pressure is 120/80. Then as opposed to getting labs on the spot to know what they re dealing with, she tells me to come back in three weeks for labs. At the time of the service, I paid $216.00 for the visit. My insurance had elapsed at the time. When I got another insurance, it became retroactive starting the beginning of that month, including the day of that visit. I informed that office of that information and gave them the insurance information. Months after the fact they DID NOT file the claim. I was back and forth with my insurance. The insurance company called them also on multiple occasions trying to contact them. They claimed that people were out with Covid, so they could not take any appointments or file any claims, which was a bold face lie. I had my daughter called from a completely different number trying to see if they are taking any new patients, and they said yes they are. The last call I had was with the office manager, who made excuses about reimbursing me the money after the claim was filed, and being combatant with my mom, who was helping me with this claim. I went back and forth with office for ten months. I NEVER received any type of reimbursement, and that was only for one visit. If I waited the three weeks to go back for labs, I would be dead right now. I would rather see a veterinarian for my health issues than go to Philips Family Medical. Ironic that this office only responds to the positive reviews, as oppose to responding to ALL reviews!

The first time I was there she was nice, listened to all my concerns. My 2nd and 3rd visit I met the condescending and rude person everyone speaks about in other reviews. Snappy makes you feel like you re questioning are irritating her. I m not sure if it s a color thing or what but your office is a predominantly brown area. The nurse was so patient and amazing. I was doing a procedure that I just couldn t do and accidentally spit water in the nurses face. She just sat like a champ and was UNFAZED! New Hope and exceeding expectations! Almost 30 pounds weight loss within 2 months! Dr. Phillips and staff are great. I went to Phillips Family practice because I was desperate for help and tired of being overlooked and treated like I was on an assembly line. I had no idea where to begin with being healed. I had major health issues, about to have major surgery, hormonal issues, and more. That was then but now I m no longer scheduled to have surgery, hormonal issues have improved tremendously, and on top of that I have lost almost 30 pounds. The first day in this office I experienced the kind of medical practice that really wants to help people. The kind of experience you rarely see in today s medicine. Dr. Phillips listened and identified with my needs. I have had a remarkable change since being treated by Phillips Family Medical. They are also extremely pleasant too!

I didn t not like her , last minute cancelled appointments that have to be pushed back for weeks and on my initial visit she was friendly and kind ( Obvisouly so I would return ) when a diagnosis came back and we spoke on treatment the next time around she Didn t want to hear anything I had to say , dictated the whole time and got upset when I started asking questions as if I m wasting her time when it s my body and my money your taking . Then again I m black I don t know if that affects a patients Treatment ! but I d like to help save someone else avoid the experience . Find a new doctor who listens

I went in for an appointment that took me about 3 weeks to book. I had to send my insurance 4 times by email and even by text. Then when I got there Pam Phillips the doctor was working the window and was very rude. Instead of contacting the lady who had my insurance she was very rude and slammed the glass Window on me mid conversation. I would rather be sick in the streets then to take my family or my self there. She insisted on getting an attitude with me for not having my card when I was told by the secretary I didn t need it because she had it on file. Again there is prolly somebody on the corner downtown who may provide better service. After that interaction I left and canceled my appointment. I only gave 1 star because that is the least I could give she really gets -0

I have been going to her almost 3 years now. This was the response I received after emailing with my concerns I will post pictures of both emails. And before anyone comments I totally understood/understand that the base charge for pellets is $300. Also,I know my last labs my that my testosterone was high and she did them a month after she placed my pellets in. Not before. And if something had changed in what I was receiving, I should have been notified. I have gained so much weight,and have started breaking out(which I never have in my life) and my hair has gotten thinner.

my wife went in for her depression, anxiety and lower abdomen pain and Philips said every woman has anxiety and when my wife asked about the pain she said she dont know and didnt ask any questions about her anxiety or depression just moved on to ignore the depression part all together. Then when she asked my wife if she was on birth control my wife said no and she aggressively said why? are you trying to get pregnant? and when my wife said yes Philips again asked why? she couldnt understand that we had been trying to get pregnant and then made her take a pregnancy test which came out negative but she insisted that it was positive and trying to make my wife feel bad saying see this is why you should be on birth control. my wife said no Im about to get my period and Philips insisted that she was pregnant so we went home took our own tests and all of them negative. Literally the next morning she got her period. Not only can this doctor not read a pregnancy test she has bad bed side manner and she got our hopes up needlessly about my wife being pregnant.

She has a condescending behavior and is overall unprofessional. Had my father not needed his essential medications refilled, I would have walked out (later I found out she did not send in his meds & took away his insulin!!!).

Dr Phillips saved my wifes life, she had covid and our family dr weve had for over 20 years would not do anything to help her. We were referred to Dr Phillips by a friend. Dr Phillips had a video call appointment with my wife. Once she saw my wife she immediately called in the prescription my wife needed. We started the medication that night,within 2or 3 days she was feeling better. Now she 100 precent better. Thats Dr Phillips for saving my wifes life.

Update: just left my primary doctor and noticed him of the life threatening issues this doctor claimed I had. Per my doctor my heart is just fine. Sounds to me like the business is looking for extra money anywhere they can, at the expense of being aggressive with their patients. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Horrible, I would not recommend this place to anyone. The doctor attempted to force me (aggressively) to get a service I did not want. This place is money hungry and would not recommend it to anyone. The doctor proceeded to raise her voice at me and even step in my face making me very uncomfortable. I will never come to this place again or refer anyone here. I will be filling a complaint with the medical board.

At age 72 I have served as a fireman and Police officer combined for almost 50 years and still working. I have been treated by a lot of doctors and found that most start to tune you out after a few visits. (they know more about your body than you do, they think.) I have been going to Phillips Family Medical for several years now and have never been treated that way there. I have never been rushed thru an office visit, they want to hear what your thoughts are as to what treatment is best for you. I have found the best of the best.
