I thought I found a good breakfast taco spot until I ordered a donut, reached in my bag and had ants all over it. Immediately I questioned the cleanliness of this place. It s a no for me. And to the owners response , why would I have ants inside a bag of donuts within 5 minutes of purchase. Being that I work in this area This was my third time purchasing food from this establishment. This was my experience here . Don t say I didn t warn you

This local owned and operated is a real gem in the community! From the first moment walking in, the owner herself made me feel welcome. Gave me the rundown of her most popular items and needless to say they were all delicious, along with great value(large tacos!) in an ever increasing inflated food/restaurant world. I just got charged $18.00 for a to go plate of the two egg rancheros breakfast plate, with an extra egg, and two pints of chocolate milk. When I called them they said $12.95 for the plate of three eggs, two burnt crumbles of bacon , chopped potatoes , and runny beans. And $2.75 for each pint of chocolate milk. This place overcharges everything they sell. I thought this place was still penas so I m partly to blame for believing this place was reputable

I would come back! We got 3 donuts & a breakfast taco (which was MASSIVE!). I actually split my taco into two & it was only $6. Everything tasted good. They do have seating inside, but its a small spot, so Im sure seats fill quickly. Staff is friendly & service is quick. Its a hidden gem, in my opinion.

Extremely rude and inconsiderate service. We were waiting in line and someone came in and stepped to the front of the line and starting speaking to the girl at the counter. They then left. It was our turn we stepped to the counter and my son was giving his order. The person came in again and started speaking to the worker again and the worker stopped what she doing without an excuse me, give me a moment, no explanation and stepped to the back for a few moments and then came back and proceeded to help the person who had just walked in. Had the employee given an explanation or apology, we might have stayed. It was a blatant disregard of our time and business.

Donuts are huge and overfilled. Kolaches dont have 1 slice of jalapeño, the sausage has cheese and jalapeño ensuring a good bite everytime. And the ladies have a great attitude. I shopped there and Shipleys the same morning because DK didnt have raspberry filled donuts. The difference between the two was cleanliness was better here, and the ladies at shipleys were complaining in Spanish. Employees unhappy with their manager trickles down to customers. I prefer DK over shipleys for taste, attitude and cleanliness.

Do not order online if you are picking it up !!!!!!!!!! I literally paid almost 3 times the amount for two tacos that I could ve got if I would ve just placed the order there. The lady that helped me was very sweet but I know she did not understand what I was trying to convey. She kept saying you should call the actual store to place your order because it s cheaper. Keep in mind this was not through GrubHub or anything like that, it literally has their website at the top where you order from. The tacos seem to be a good size. And were good . They have lots of variety. Donuts are good but their breakfast tacos are great. I love their chorizo tacos with 2 kinds of salsas for dipping. I mean it would ve been nice if I was able to actually get food from here, I walked in, no one was at the counter, nobody decided to check the counter to see if anyone was there, there was nobody at the drivethru, there was customers seated eating, then I walk in and have to stand there for minutes looking stupid.. there s also a glass window in between the kitchen and the register area that you can definitely see a silhouette if someone walks into the establishment.. are there no cameras? I started eating here back when it was Penas, they offer a ton of dishes you won t find at other donut shops. Pancakes, breakfast plates, Chicken or Beef fajita tacos, burgers and a ton of other stuff. Let s not forget about what we stopped in in the first place. Made to order breakfast tacos, your choice of small or large. The small tacos are really big so bring your appetite if you get the large. The sauces are your basic fair, green and red. The red is by far the tastiest of the two. The prices are a bit high for tacos but I was there and that s what I wanted. Lol. The klobasnek are not very good, the bread was really dry and the sausage was was on the same boat. Maybe it was a bad day for kolaches, maybe not. Overall I would say this is a great local spot that is worth eating at. Check out there online menu, way to much to list.

How are they sold out of items at 9:00 on a Sunday morning! In what world does a tiny cake donut replace a strawberry filled? I ordered a mixed dozen that should have included old fashioned, cake and yeast, but only contained the colored frosted kids donuts. I can not believe this was $40. Please go anywhere else, this was a ripoff!
