Surprised I have never left a review for Gringos. This place is always fresh and amazing whether you have dine in or carry out. Their salsas are always perfect. Enjoy both the red and the green. I always get a combo dish with enchiladas which are always cheesy and full of flavor. If you dine in they have free ice cream to enjoy. Highly recommend using their app as they have lots of good deals and offers all the time.

Update 9/30/2024: I am absolutely thrilled to have been reunited with my all-time favorite server, Helen, now working at Gringos in Pearland! I used to always request to sit in her section when she worked at Jimmy Changas, and I was genuinely saddened when I found out she was no longer there. Helen is one of those rare individuals who can turn a simple dining experience into something truly special. Today, when I walked into Gringo s and saw that Helen was part of the team, I was overjoyed! It felt like reconnecting with an old friend. Her service is second to none. Helen consistently goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated. She has a remarkable ability to balance professionalism with genuine warmth and friendliness, which makes every meal a joy. Her attention to detail is impeccable whether its ensuring that every part of our order is correct or offering thoughtful suggestions from the menu. She s attentive without being overbearing, and somehow always knows when you need something before you even ask. Her smile and positive energy light up the room, and it s clear that she takes great pride in making sure her guests have the best possible experience. It s safe to say that I will be requesting Helen every time I visit Gringo s from now on. If you re lucky enough to be seated in her section, you re in for a fantastic dining experience. The worst Gringos location Ive visited. I was shocked that they had an officer working security at a family restaurant. It was so loud I couldnt hear my server. She put in our order but didnt send it, so it took about an hour to get our food. Then it took her another 30 minutes to run our card. Food was decent, not the quality I expected from Gringos though. All in all a horrible experience and I would suggest everyone steer clear of that location.

If you want to dine in, then this is a good choice. If you want to carry out, then avoid this restaurant. Food was supposed to be ready at 4:15pm and at 4:30pm they came out and told me that someone forgot to fill the order and they would start on it. They were over 30 min. late getting the order out to me while we had 10 people waiting to eat at my house. Will not use these guys again for any catering or take out.

Food was delicious and portion sizes were great! The only thing I didn t like, the food took over 30 minutes to arrive despite the place being almost empty at 2pm and our orders not being complex. The server was very nice and we were comfortable so it wasn t a dealbreaker. Love the free soft serve station!!!! This was my first visit to Gringos. I am from AZ and not a huge TexMex fan but this food was amazing!!! I had the Eldorado Chicken and it was so beyond words. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the chipotle cream sauce OMG!!! My roommate had Tampico Chicken and again chicken was cooked perfectly and the Pablano Cream sauce was OMG!!! The chips are thin and crispy and both the salsa & avocado creama were excellent. We also had a pineapple margarita and a strawberry margarita and let me tell you they don t skimp on booze or flavor!!! So I also need to shout out to our server Helen who was awesome, friendly and helpful in our selections. She was a sweet bright spot to a great meal!!!

Drove in from Abilene to visit friends. My family wanted Mexican food for lunch, and this was the restaurant our friends suggested. Everything was absolutely tremendous. There were 5 in our party, and MJ was our waitress. She was fantastic. Very attentive and immediately recognized that an add-on to my daughters dish had been left off. To be as busy as she was and still take note of our every detail and keep our drinks full, MJ is clearly on top of her game! Then the food was just the best. All I heard repeatedly during the rest of the trip, that was the best ........, just fill in the blank, as it was all just that, THE BEST. Thanks to Gringos and MJ for a wonderful meal and experience.

Over the years weve frequented Gringos less because of the crowds. We were fortunate to get a table in a well trafficked area, however, and our food came in a reasonable time. The salsas and chips are always great. I had the Cabo salad for a lighter offering and it was very good. I like burritos and Gringos does not offer this, so maybe next time. Waiting a take home box and on the check after eating is sometimes slow and this was the case, but expected due to the crowded environment. But this is a great place for Tex-Mex food so you cant go wrong eating here every now and again.

OMG I tried the shrimp fajitas for the first time and it was incredible. They serve grilled onions, and a combination of sauteed mushrooms, thinly sliced carrots, and zucchini on a bed of herb grilled shrimp and everything covered with clarified butter. Im not a big vegetable person but I couldnt get enough. Highly recommend.

Ask for Billy!!!. I was recently here with family and the person that brought us chips and salsa said that they were out of green sauce. When our waiter Billy came over to introduce himself I jokingly said can you go to the back and bring the secret stash of green sauce? He said yes and brought is some green salsa. Their service was great. Our wonderful server was Jayla, she did an excellent job attending us. The food wasn t bad. We had the queso, El Captain, beef fajitas and beef quesadillas. The queso wasn t the best, but still good. My husband and daughter liked the El captain and beef quesadillas. The fajitas were just ok, they didn t really have any flavor, but the texture was good. Ive visited this restaurant many times, but never had i received such poor service as a have tonight. My husband an i came in a bit late 915 PM and sat at the bar. From the moment we sat down, the kid at the bar did not seemed pleased. First thing he did before asking us if we wanted chips and salsa, was check his watch making us feel like we put him out since it was getting close to closing. Kat took our drink order and was pleasant. We ordered 2 drinks and an appetizer. When he brought the chips and salsa over, he put them down pretty roughly almost spilling it. He didnt acknowledge us after that at all forcing us to ask Kat to help us place the food order. After out dinner, my husband asked for a shot. The same kid , then asked if he wanted it straight up or chilled, when we said chilled, he made a snide comment under his breath and then laughed. When he brought it over he said to my husband, heres your lady drink and waked off. I dont know if he was thinking he was being funny or clever but it didnt sit well with us. I think his rude comments and behavior were uncalled for. There were several people un the restaurant dining with their families and several couples at the bar where we were sitting as well. He didnt seemed bothered by any of the othere patrons so I couldnt figure out why we got this kind of service and rudness. I noticed he wasnt wearing a name badge like the other employees and should have asked for his name, but the employees who worked that shift and bar know who he is. Ive worked in hospitality and customer service for over 20 years and I know enough to know you treat every customer with courtesy and respect no matter the situation. This was NOT the case..I hope no one else encounters this rudness from this person. Longstory short, I dont think Ill be visiting this restaurant for a while even though it is in my neighborhood. Id rather pay a little more for better customer service plus tip.

$11 for a shot of Grand Marnier. The whole bottle cost $30. The shot was only 1 oz. The margarita was not that good. I have spent close to $7000 at Gringos my whole life. I will never come to the gringos location in pearland again. The entire evening was a complete disaster. While sitting at the bar, I was not offered chips and salsa, I had to ask for them. I was not offered a menu. I had to ask for it. Two other couples were sat down, got chips, menus, and ordered before I was even spoken to. The food was crap, cold, and stale. No one asked if we wanted a refill, and the bar was not even full. There were 4 bartenders working at that time. No one made eye contact with us. The entire time i was sitting there. We had to ask for our own refills. I will never return here. The best part of the night was the green salsa. That is very sad...

I dont even know where to begin. It was the worst experience customer service was just awful. The host that sat us down had the most unfriendly face she didnt talk at all didnt introduce herself whatsoever. When the waitress asked to bring us kids menu she made a face. Everyone there literally looked like they DID NOT WANT TO BE THERE INCLUDING THE MANAGER!!!! That being said we will not be returning to the location the one on highway 45 had a much better attitude and actually spoke to us like we were family and you can tell the manager takes pride in his job!! BIG DIFFERENCE!

Its always fun at Gringos with delicious options and a fun atmosphere. We go often with family. Parking: There are not many handicapped spaces, so dont go on Sundays. Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome and they have a great time Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible for people with disabilities

First time coming here! The food was super delicious, I recommend the chicken enchiladas suizas. I was craving chamoy and the mangonada sure satisfied that craving. Our waiter was super nice, helped us with everything he could and made sure our chips were full at all times . Will definitely return in the future

I was eating at the Gulf Fwy location but one visit and this is now my new spot. We went in at 9:20 on a Friday night. They close at 10. The host and waiter still served us with a friendly smile and personality. Not only did the food come out hot and fresh but the presentation was even great. Nothing was rushed. The service was impeccable all the way around

3 years ago I gave this place 5 stars. Cant do that anymore. This was the place to go for Mexican food. Now for starters, their prices are outrageous. But Im not going to blame them for that. Food is more expensive everywhere. But that being said, for that price I expected top quality. I went there for their fajitas regularly which were superb. But yesterday the beef fajitas had a lot of fat on them and I think the meat was undercooked. I think they went to cheaper meat to save money. My experience was just ok. It wasnt the gringos from a while back where all i could do is talk about the meal for days. It was average. No better than most restaurants around the area. Time to go to other places and explore. Sorry gringos you are losing your edge.
