The convenience store side has a nice layout and lots of variety and selections at a fair price. The store has a down-home, country feel - just ask the deer mount. The coffee drinks station is well supplied, clean, and neatly laid out. They even have honey and a large variety of hot teas as well. Service is good, but the morning rush does make for a little longer line to check out. Breakfast tacos are BOGO after 10:30 a.m. everyday! Gas prices could be a little lower but certainly a nice alternative to Buc-ees.

Great little spot in Pearland. Lots of meat options, sandwiches, burgers, kid options and sides to choose from. I highly recommend the jalapeño sausage and turkey. If you are looking for a treat the banana pudding and double chocolate brownie are excellent choices. You should also check out their sweet shop for a tasty treat as well as a nice selection of coffees and lattes. 10/10 recommend.

I am very disappointed in this restaurant. I purchased a whole chicken, half pound of turkey, a large salad and okra. My total for this was $55.00 for my dinner. I received a small container of bbq sauce and one serving size of salad dressing for my family. When I asked for more, they were adamant about charging me almost a $1.00 for the extra containers. The chicken is delicious but there is a reason that Pappas and Killens bbq spots remain the best in Houston. The food matches the hospitality. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Fries were good with a little salt. The service was quick and friendly. The decor and furnishings are awesome. Highly appropriate for a Texas BBQ restaurant. I also liked the chocolate cake and chocolate covered pecans.

Food was good, but not the brisket, just the chopped one was good w the bread and the sides. I am so picky w brisket, I dont like it dry and it has to have burnt ends not fat. But the chopped one made a mean sandwich dripping in bbq sauce Potato salad, passed Beans, passed Pickles, passed Sauce, passed Chicken, dry...no thanks Ive been here b4 and it was delicious but its gone downhill n my husband got sick with ECOLI after we ate there n had to be hospitalized so never again. Too bad.

I ve eaten here once or twice before. I really enjoyed eating here today. The bbq isn t going to win any awards (imo), but it s definitely good. For me, actually, the charro beans were the real stand out lol. They had such a spicy kick to them - so flavorful! The atmosphere feels grand in scale, but still down home comfortable. I d be happy to go back again. The self serve toppings and drink bar is a plus, too. Very clean and well stocked.

Ive always been able to get only lean brisket on the 2meat plate. Super disappointed, the man cutting the meat 1st gave me brisket and pork ribs (after I said 2meat plate all lean brisket) and I said no I want all brisket he said cant do it so I said alright then LEAN brisket and pulled pork.. I received the most UNLean brisket full of fat Very disappointed in service tonight, usually we have no issues. We love Big Horn, but we really did not enjoy our experience tonight

I purchased an order online and upon arriving on July 4th, I was advised there was not a record of my order. At that time I did not see a charge for the order deducted from my bank account and thought the order did not transmit. I proceeded to go through the drive thru immediately after leaving from the to go counter and purchased two meals. Several days later I saw the online order charge deducted from my account and spoke with Victor, a Bighorn manager. I requested a refund of the online order that I never received. Victor s response, there s nothing I can do for you . Very disappointed in Bighorn s response and failure to refund monies for a product never received. Unjust enrichment Bighorn!

Met a couple of friends here for lunch and we couldn t have picked a better place to eat. The atmosphere is very cozy and the lively classic country tunes took me back! I got the large turkey plate with charro beans and broccoli salad and my friends got the chopped beef sandwich with sweet potato fries and french fries. The turkey was so moist and tasty, the charro beans were perfect and the little kick from the jalapenos was a nice touch and the broccoli salad was refreshing. I had some of my friends sweet potato fries and I wish I had gotten some to go. I can t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu- I m happy it s so convenient to get to with it being right off of 288.

Got my order wrong, didnt give me a receipt...Came out with the wrong food and then had A p*** Poor attitude about correcting my order and then came back out With a receipt in his hand trying to charge me more for an order He made me repeat twice. I then asked him to go and get his manager. Malika came out. She heard me out. She told me what the policy was. She made the corrections and accommodations and was efficient in bringing my meal out. This manager malika saved the day as she saved the service for this company. Placed an order in the drive-thru. We caught them on a day when there was only one car ahead of us. For those that are familiar with Big Horn, it is not unusual for there to be a line around the corner to get some great food. It was raining this day so there werent that many people on the road. The young lady at the window was very courteous and got our order right out. We ordered the loaded baked potato with lean chopped beef and a chicken tender kids meal with onions rings that also comes with a drink. I hope your kiddo has an appetite because this is not a kiddie portion. The food was great. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that we picked up an order of peach cobbler and pecan pie.

This place smelled great from just stepping out of the vehicle. I ordered the brisket sandwich meal. It was delicious and so were the yams. The pork ribs were competition style with a bite to them. I like them fall off the bone. So to my preference they could have been more tender and less chewy. The beans were good and so was the jalapeño bread. The jalapeño cornbread muffins however were a little dry and not as tasty. I think this place is slept in quite a bit because it is delicious but maybe not the first place of choice for my family. One thing they want to charge you for extra BBQ sauce, for your BBQ sandwich REALLY, and the food is not as good as it use to be. The Manager seems to have a bad attitude about solving any problems, by just walking away when you are talking with him. Very poor management and again the food was bad. Waited in line for over 20minutes only to get home and open the covered plate to find a small drumstick which was kid sized and a thigh that was swimming in grease. The brisket I asked for was sliced at the burnt end no meat what so ever just fat and bark!!!!. I will go to Kroger and get Burns BBQ from now on. At least I wont be in line forever and a day. In the service window the were about 10 orders of food dying, there was food stacked on top of other food. Customers coming up asking for their orders. I will never go out of my way to write a negative review but this was unbelievable. My husband and I went through the drive through and ordered a baked potato with brisket and a pound of brisket and told the order taker to include jalapenos and onions. After receiving the food and driving away we noticed the onions and jalapenos are missing we went back through the line to just ask to get the missing items besides politely saying sorry for the missing items the order taker was beyond disrespectful by saying we need to make sure we ordered onions and jalapenos and my husband informed her we did and then with a rude voice she asked for a receipt number which shows jalapenos and plastic ware which were all missing but she failed to accept her mistake and for something so simple was rude and made this experience the worst. My husband asked for the manager to complain about this woman because if any other customer deals with this service its unacceptable. The manager was respectful and brought the items and apologized on her behalf but I would like further action on her behavior. I have receipt number at #697 the time stamp is there of 6:53 PM.I wont share her name but with the number you guys will know who was order taking. I will never come back to this horrible experience for free condiments.

The food at Big Horn is great! I ve been here a gazillion times. The one huge downfall is that when you go through the drive thru, 85% of the time your order is wrong somehow. Examples: wrong drink, wrong meat, missing items. It never fails. If you go through the drive thru go ahead and be the person that checks their entire order before you drive off. Trust me, it will save you from being disappointed time and time again, like me. The food is good, but it s not cheap, so when your order is wrong it really sucks. Tonight my salad had items missing and my drink was wrong. Big horn, big mistakes. But good food when your order is right.

This morning my taco was cold, from eggs to the tiny pieces of brisket the mix in the eggs. Probably from leftovers from yesterday. You can barely see the meat or taste it. The dont even use real brisket to go with Cold Eggs. This was my second time there. Maybe Ill try something else dinner or lunch. Its over with for breakfast. At least Papas give you real brisket on top of the Eggs. I was very unhappy again for my 2nd time. The first impression was the Best impression. Mines wasnt a good one.

While holiday shopping around town, I had an urge for a chopped brisket sandwich. Convenient location led me to Big Horn. I ordered two chopped brisket sandwiches. I fooled around and found out. When I opened the drive through delights 15 minutes later, I was greeted by a less than generous offering of dry chunks of beef scantily spread on a bun. The buns were possibly used to clean the grill. Two little tubs of mediocre BBQ sauce were in the bag. Intended to moisten the gravel within perhaps. Was a little onion and pickle included with this $20 bag of wonders? Not even. Unless of course, you pay for it. Shameful. Save your money, buy a smoker and study YouTube for smoking brisket before going here. Big sign, small quality.

Okay on a regular day, 5 stars for the BBQ, but Im giving 2 stars because my mother and I shouldnt have to doctor a meal she paid almost $200 for, and thank goodness we can cook! My mother wanted to take it easy for thanksgiving this year, so she bought a half-gallon (didnt look like half a gallon, but okay) of dressing and sweet potatoes. She also bought the Cajun Turkey. Im just gonna tell yall what we had to do, to make it edible for us: -Turkey: dry fresh out of the oven, so we made sure to pour chicken broth over it and let it marinate in it before the guests arrived. White meat was dry, but not even the basic turkey dry, it was Popeyes biscuit dry. Im not joking. You needed a beverage with this for sure. -Sweet potatoes: placed in a crock pot to warm, ended up having to add cinnamon, nutmeg, cinnamon sugar, brown sugar, and sugar to taste. Thanks to my mom it came out great! -Dressing: ended up having to stir it up a bit with a little chicken broth. It was already kind of mushy so we had to be very careful. We added gizzards, Cornish hen juice (thank goodness we made our own dressing btw), and basically all the seasonings we use on our regular dressing. It didnt taste great that night, or thanksgiving day, BUT today, Nov 26, when it all marinated--it tastes how it probably shouldve tasted when my mom spent almost $200 on this. All in all, if were paying almost $200 we may as well buy the ingredients and cook it ourselves!!! We were too busy doctoring (the meal we paid other ppl to cook for us) everything to take pictures, but I did get a picture of the LOAF of dressing they gave us. I understand thanksgiving is hard to cook and we expect to spend a cute coin, but if youre charging ppl almost $200 for not even the full meal, you gotta do better than this. The exact price she paid was $184 and some change btw. For dressing, Turkey, and sweet potatoes--(allegedly) a half gallon. We know now ,not to trust too many businesses with the full thanksgiving meal. Im thankful we had cooking talent and other dishes. The bread was good though.

I ordered the original smoked turkey for Thanksgiving and I I m very disappointed. When I unwrap the turkey it was dark color and dry. The instruction to heat up the turkey I had to cut it in pieces and as I m cutting it some parts was raw. I spent $64 for this turkey and ruined my Thanksgiving dinner. Never again will I visit this establishment

The meat was nice and tender and enjoyable with one of the different hot sauces offered. Added a little of the bbq sauce and it was on!! Id recommend Big Horn Bbq and I would definitely eat here again.

I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich ( I love brisket) but the bun was practically stale and the meat was cold (decent brisket). BBQ sauce was just okay in flavor to me. I did go to use the restroom and wash my hands; the bathroom was poorly kept. Overall would not recommend.

Then after fighting with you to convince you that you only need 2 oz of sauce for their sandwiches, they nickel and dime you to get 2oz more of barbecue sauce. I couldnt believe it. It ruined my whole experience with them. Made the sandwich bitter. For $20 you can include the price of barbecue sauce. I dont plan on returning.

Well, I have to update this review, because the last two times we visited our orders were forgotten. One visit was relatively busy, the other was not at all. The first time, our food just sat at the kitchen window. Stuff happens. We return again, and this time, apparently our food was just left on a table when they couldnt find who it belonged to. So they had to remake it when we asked about our order. We were super patient. Which meant we nibbled on other family members food while waiting. By the time we got our food, over an hour had passed. I think we were actually nearing an hour and a half. We were no longer hungry. No manager came to us. So obviously no discounts or comps offered.

I am very disappointed in this restaurant. I am new to the area but ever since I moved here I have come to Big Horn at least once a week and the prices are always 50 or $60 that I spend. last night I ordered the same thing I always order 3 stuffed baked potatoes and extra meat. Waited 40 minutes in the drive-through with no complaint. When I got home and opened my bag, the cheesecake was missing the baked potatoes meat was completely dry. I didn t call back because I was exhausted from the day so I took pictures and kept my receipt. When I called this morning to let them know about my experience and maybe they could remake the potatoes since I was a regular customer I was met with negativity and attitude. The first manager didn t wanna hear it. He took my name and number and said another manager will call and when they called she didn t wanna hear it and she proceeded to tell me I should ve kept the food all night and brought it back, also, they were not a chain so they did not have to refund me Nor make my food and if I would ve call back last night maybe they could help me then that will be the last time I spend a dime at this establishment. It s the audacity in the attitude is really what got me today. Glad my money is not that important.!!!!!!

Secret Sauce may be edible or NOT. 3:30pm Tuesday February 7, 2023, the Secret Sauce was 2,200,000 on the Scoville scale. If you are unfamiliar with the Scoville scale, it measures the hotness of hot peppers. 2,200,000 is the hottest pepper in the world, This afternoon, the Chop King Sandwichs Secret Sauce was so HOT/SPICY it was NOT edible! ________________________________________ ALWAYS check your take-out order BEFORE leaving the cash register. Today requested baked potato with no GREEN ONIONS, INSTEAD received baked potato with no BACON. How can they confuse green onions and bacon?? $8 is a lot for a baked potato with no bacon. Last time, we paid for food for two people and received food for one person. Repeat: ALWAYS check your take-out order BEFORE leaving the cash register.
