My daughter s baby shower was held in the reception hall. It was absolutely perfect! The food, the set up, the servers, and the arrangement were all amazing! All of the guests remarked that the room was beautiful, and the food was delicious! Many commented that it was a perfect location for a shower or event. We could not have been more pleased.

On April 28th, 2024 we held my daughter-in-laws baby shower in the main building. It was magical! Krista and her staff were very helpful, attentive, and friendly to all of our guests. Krista made the whole process so simple from beginning to end. The food was beyond delicious and the fresh fruits were divine. The strawberries were the largest I have ever seen. I highly recommend SS for any event or wedding. Its elegant and required very little decorating on our part. Besides the desserts, all we added was fresh cut flowers for the centerpieces.

This is the cutest place!! My daughter and I love looking ad staying in such quaint lil places. I have a couple of suggestions. 1) The rocking chair was not comfortable at all. I put 3 pillows on the seat for the cushion and the back had slats missing which made it extremely uncomfortable even with a pillow which kept falling to the floor behind the rocker. 2) I never could get the heater to come on. 3) If the desk up on the loft was to work at that chair made it hard to get comfortable for any length of time. Came down and sat on the bed instead. 4) Replace the shower curtain with a weighted one so that it doesnt move about so easily and stick to your rear cheeks while you are trying to shower. I dont mean to be picky but you asked.......... After traveling, comfort is important.

STARTERS IF I COULD GIVE THIS ZERO STARS I WOULD!! I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Beautiful scenery but horrible employees/staff. My cousins wedding was a complete mess. What was suppose to be the best day of her life was turned into nothing but constant worry and stress. Not to mention the Food sucked. Staff was rude as hell. & the bride to be was called a bridzilla. If you don t like your job then don t work there. Respectfully. To top everything off they canceled our family s food orders. This place is a joke. Don t waste your time or money on a venue like this. You re better off getting married in your parents back yard.(:

The place was very pretty but the service was horrible. The staff was very rude to my sister and her husband, when my sisters best friends nana was there they refused to give her water. Jackie was very rude to my sister when she was just asking questions and having an attitude, she called my sister a bridezilla bc the wedding wasn t going the way she wanted, and my sister was getting upset bc a wedding is supposed to be what the bride and groom wants. when we got there before the wedding we had to start getting ready in the hot airbnb bc the ac went out the night before and they didn t fix it, we got yelled at bc we were parked close to the house to get unloaded and then we were going to move the vehicle. the service was so bad and the staff was very rude i do not recommend.

I would never recommend this venue to anyone ever! I was a bridesmaid for a wedding held here and we arrived at 9am to a Broken ac unit while trying to get hair and makeup done it was so hot we had to remove our shirts to get some kind of comfort! The coordinator (Krista) didn t do her job until 4pm she left for 3 hours and did a horrible job! The food was absolutely horrible and bland with stale breed and over cooked meat! The staff was so disrespectful especially the owner yelling at the bride for parking to unload decorations saying you can t park there Jackie found it appropriate to call the bride a Bridezilla the bar staff was rude to a handicap family member because she wanted water and they couldn t bother themselves to get her any! At the very last minute they gave us 30 minutes to clean up from the whole wedding! We rented almost every single cabin if not all and they had no hot water and it was wet and rainy by then end of the night and freezing not to mention the slower heads go right onto the floor because the shower is so small the shower head can t fit correctly! Do not stay here or have your wedding here! Rooms: Cute but showers are way to small and no hot water Food and drinks: Horrible

We hosted our daughters wedding at Silver Sycamore, with 130 guests. From day one, Jackie and her team were professional and very helpful in scheduling, planning, and executing the event. Krista was a standout, in particular, and we very much enjoyed interacting with her. As for the venue itself, we had lofty expectations going into the big day, and they were exceeded. The entire day (and night) was truly magical, and Ive lost count of the number of people who commented on the unique setting. We wanted to host something unique and memorable, and Silver Sycamore provided in spades. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and the attentiveness of staff, I must highlight the quality of the food and the commitment of the servers (including bartenders). Guests raved about their meals, and the synchronized table service did not go unnoticed--everyone was very impressed. We watched the servers practice for hours the day of the wedding to get it just right; their level of dedication was impressive and very much appreciated. A very heartfelt thank you to Jackie, Krista, and all of the staff who made our special day so wonderful. It will be a forever-treasured memory, and you all should be very proud of your venue and performance. An impeccable class act, all around. Highly recommended.

There is not enough praise that I can give to the great folks at Silver Sycamore. Since the moment we stepped into the venue, both my wife and I were astonished by the western look and we knew at the very moment that we had found the perfect place for our wedding. We were excited to get the chance to talk with the coordinator and the environment was very welcoming that it had a feeling of familiarity. They helped us by providing an itinerary and walked us through the process in the months leading up to the big day. Everything was smooth as butter. At no point did we did feel the need to stress because the venue was very flexible and understanding of any adjustments that we needed to make. We send our best regards to Krista and the rest of the team that made our wedding a very memorable experience. Our friends and family had endless compliments about the venue and how it was handled. They were all treated with the utmost respect. I speak on behalf of all of us when I say that Silver Sycamore will always hold a special place in our hearts. -The Fernandez Family

We stayed in the B&B portion of this venue -- we needed a place near Pearland, and were delighted to see a Bed & Breakfast available in Pasadena! We were in one of the cottages. The grounds are lovely, beautifully landscaped and maintained, and the cottage was very clever and cozy. Breakfast at the cafe on site was included, and was very good! The entire experience was not like a traditional Bed & Breakfast -- we never met staff, and didnt get to dine with other overnight guests. But service and communication was prompt, courteous, and informative. SO much nicer than staying in a hotel.

We stayed in the Prairie Willow cottage on Friday Night. This venue/Bed and Breakfast is not in the best of neighborhoods. Perhaps I should have looked further into the location but was distracted by the photos. This venue is smack in the middle of a neighborhood, which doesnt appear to be the safest. The Prairie Willow cottage is about 3 feet away from the fence of the neighbors yard. When we arrived they were playing VERY loud music, which was not a relaxing environment- luckily when we arrived back from having dinner, the music had stopped. The venue is cute, and has some great photo spots, however I found it a bit underwhelming. Looks a lot cuter in the pictures than in person. The staff was responsive to my inquiries and provided all necessary information about our stay before our arrival. We were unable to stay and have breakfast so needed to opt for the coffee shop, the Barista was just eh - didnt really engage or smile. Rooms: Prairie Willow cottage boasts a rustic look. It is indeed rustic, it is decorated with many antiques. It has a very antique look including the dust remaining on the antiques. My husband is allergic to everything - the amount of dust was a bit uncomfortable and is certainly not a place for a person with allergies to spend a night in. Initially, I thought the bed in the loft was cute until it was time to actually go to bed and use the bathroom in the middle of the night - not such a great idea for a middle aged couple. The shower is also very tight, We are average sized adults. I dont think the Prairie Willow Cottage is worth it for the price. I recommend anyone visiting to consider the neighborhood and be completely ready for a rustic experience.

Was recently a part of a wedding that took place at this venue. I DO NOT recommend this venue to any future brides. The treatment we received was horrible. The bridal cottage was 80 degrees and I, a bridesmaid, had to call the coordinator to get it fixed. And when I called to let the coordinator know how hot it was, and that we had an infant in the room, she snickered and said she was going to call someone. It took someone 45 minutes to get someone out to the bridal cottage. On the subject of the coordinator, a majority of the bridal party, including the bride, really only saw the coordinator until 20 minutes before the ceremony started. We did our own run through of the ceremony because we had no idea where the coordinator was. Regarding the comments that the owner has made on other posts from this wedding regarding the liquor incident, the bridal party was told, BY THE COORDINATOR, that as long as she didnt see the liquor, it was fine. But while the ceremony was happening and the beginning of the reception was occurring, the coordinator and Im assuming the owner went through our belongings. They were in the cottage without any of our knowledge. Going back to the morning of the wedding, the cake was dropped off, and did not notify the bride to let her know that the cake was there so she could give them the flowers to put on the cake. So instead, some of the bridesmaids had to decorate the cake. A little later in the early afternoon, the bride went to go look at the reception hall and noticed that there was no dancefloor. When she asked about it, she was told that they did not do dancefloors at this venue....even though she was charged for a dancefloor. At the end of the day, the couple got married and that is all that matters. But again, I definitely do not recommend that any bride set foot in this venue. Poor management and poor coordination.

My Wife and I had our wedding last week on 3/23/23 and were very pleased. Rather than using the Silver Sycamore wedding venue, we had our wedding at the coffee shop across the road. We wanted to do it there as that was where we had our first date. Sycamore Grounds has been a very special place for us in the entirety of our relationship and it seemed like the perfect place to cement our love for one another. When I asked the team at SS if we could utilize that space, though it wasnt their typical wedding location, they fully accommodated us and made our day so special. Providing flexibility in the options and in making sure that the space was perfect for our moment. Highly recommend these venues and great team team of people!! Hidden location but a joy to find I thought it was a very cute place for a small intimate ceremony shower bridal get together type of small just intimate function I enjoyed the trees on the property I enjoyed the waterfall the gazebo lit up It was just a cute little area for a wedding it was everything you needed and yeah the old time emoji for the hotel maybe a little cheesy but I dont know what they could have done to make it modern and always be in train with what we have going on in the world. But Ill definitely suggest this place for any upcoming bride or groom theyre looking for a place thats all inclusive. The staff was very friendly the bathroom was very clean and the service almost half of cleaning up as the night went on was excellent I noticed that Food and drinks: The Taco bar in the baked potato option was good potato boy was fantastic in the barbecue that we went it was amazing The drinks at the bride and groom had available for us to drink with no issues Not right good not overly expensive but delicious. I really enjoy it at the bed potato bar had lots of condiments for you to choose from.

Having our wedding at Silver Sycamore was the best decision we made. My family and I have been patronizing the cafe there for years and years, and we always loved the super cute western town that the owners have built. When it came to getting married, I knew exactly where to recommend to my now-husband. He fell in love with it, just like I did, and so did all our guests - no one could believe that this venue existed in the heart of Pasadena! The night could best be described in one word: magical. Its the word that my dad kept saying over and over again. After the wedding, he told me if he had to do it all over again, he would scrounge up all the money he could to have it the exact same way at the exact same place. This meant so much to me because I wanted to achieve this when planning our wedding. An experience beyond compare. Silver Sycamore staff did an excellent job leading up to the wedding, promptly answering our questions and providing multiple opportunities to visit the site and discuss concerns or ideas in person. It was a bit of a challenge the last couple of months prior to the wedding because the venue went through some wedding coordinator changes, but Lyndsey, the coordinator for our wedding, carried confidence and assurance the day of the wedding, which was comforting as a bride. One of the reasons we chose Silver Sycamore is that it is a well-oiled machine. We were very impressed with how solid the wedding format is at this location, so we felt very comfortable knowing everything would be handled well, leaving us to enjoy our special day. The vendors we chose for the wedding were mostly the preferred vendors recommended by Silver Sycamore. Making the decision to do it this way paid off because all the vendors knew the venue and already had a relationship with the owners. I would recommend others to go this route if they can. Overall, it was an expensive venture, but we believe it was worth it. Looking back at the pictures and the video, we are so happy we had our wedding here.

The Silver Sycamore is located in an old house with tables in different rooms and decor is a step back in time. I had their honey mustard chicken salad and was underwhelmed! Servered in a shallow bowl, it was basically spring mix greens, teaspoon of bacon, and a small part of a grilled chicken breast. It just wasnt worth the price. The chocolate pie I had for dessert was amazing and for that reason, I will give them another chance.

The service is absolutely terrible and they do nothing to take care of their patrons concerns. When we made reservations for Mother s Day, it was not made clear to us that there would be a special menu and different pricing during the event. Not even a word was spoken of it during the phone call. Come to find out Mother s Day morning when a family member just happened to come across the Facebook post that garnered VERY little attention that this was the case. We then decided we would not be attending this event and called to cancel. It took FOREVER to get through on the phone. Multiple people had to make multiple phone calls. RIDICULOUS. When they finally did answer the phone they blame shifted the entire thing onto us stating that we clearly understood the menu and would be required to pay full price despite whether or not we showed up for our reservation. HOW CAN ANYONE CLEARLY UNDERSTAND SOMETHING THEY ARENT TOLD?! Absolutely terrible customer service, and lack of basic human decency.

STAY FAR AWAY!! First: Venue owner was NOT transparent about what was included in the wedding packages, and showed us a new price sheet AFTER we gave a non-refundable deposit. Second: Venue owner did NOT show us the contract before collecting our deposit. Third: Venue owner provided TERRIBLE customer service and conflict resolution. Just a heads up: numerous things are NOT included, but shell tell you she can do them just like a car salesman. Ill upload a pic of the price list, since she has accidentally forgotten to show this to more than just me (check her other 1 star reviews). We gave the deposit prior to seeing the contract, stupid I know. We were naïve and new to this wedding process. But this is her JOB. She does this for a LIVING. She shouldve emailed the contract to us and said, You should review this first. Poor business practice. We spent nearly 30 mins talking about my complaints about the price sheet. She even ADMITTED to us that she usually does provide the extra pricing sheet to people, but she didnt for us. *Finally* at the end of our convo, she offers concessions, but I simply could not trust anything at that point. And it looks like I was right too! Because during our convo she offered to give a portion of our deposit back if she was able to book somebody else... But when we asked to get that in writing, she rudely told us she CHANGED HER MIND and wouldnt be giving anything back at all! Funny!! Frankly I would not recommend this venue to ANYONE, especially not to brides. What I dealt with has genuinely ruined my engagement and has soured what was supposed to be a time about love & family. We GLADLY took a $3,500 hit to our bank account in order to end all business here. I can only recommend that others do the same. All I can say is GOOD RIDDANCE and GOOD LUCK running a business like that.

Unfortunately for a taller person like me, tiny was not exactly the best place for me to stay but was a present to the missus. The old western town facades were cool in the back, and far enough away where the wedding noise wasnt noticeable. Had issues with heater/ac combo. Hint: set it to the heat mode and temp, then turn off the system, wait a few minutes and turn it back on with the same settings. Breakfast was very good as well. Would recommend. Only downside is location relative to really anything.

We stayed in one of the little cabins at the venue. Jackie greeted us and was so nice! We loved sitting on the little porch with the soft music playing amongst the cafe lights strung across the cove of the little cabins. We definitely be back to stay! oh, and the bed was super comfy!

This was a cute , beautiful, calm little restaurant. As you went through the gate to park entered a small village. I saw people exploring around the property but not sure what the other buildings were. I was short on time so I only had a chance to eat did not get a chance to explore. However, I do plan to return to explore this cute place. So I came to eat at the Cafe and the restaurant was so comforting, cute so rustic reminds me of eating breakfast at my grandmothers it was just sticken adorable! Service was slow but once the food arrived it did not matter it was good. Will return to explore some other dishes and also to walk around this village. It was located inside a neighborhood its so cute and quiet!!! Love that part.

We stayed in the Sunlit Rose for my birthday weekend and it did not disappoint! This B&B is truly a diamond in the rough! We loved our room, and while I loved the whirlpool tub, my husband was disappointed in not having a shower option. The little Western town is SO COOL!! It feels like a movie set, and we had the whole place to ourselves at night which made for a really fun, memorable evening. There are other little features throughout the property that are really beautiful like the waterfalls and small pond. It s a really unique, one of a kind place! We will definitely be back, looking to try one of the other cottages next time too! Also, the breakfast in the morning at the cafe is fantastic. I recommend going early as it does get busy. I had the French toast and it was outstanding. Highly recommend!

The owner of Silver Sycamore gave my business facility -Therapeutic Massage & Spa Services located at 3203 Preston, Ste C in Pasadena, Texas a bad review because a Massage Therapist she contracted with to do massages at her facility did not show up for a scheduled appointment. The therapist she contracted with was not an employee and did NOT work at my Massage Therapy place of business. This was explained to Silver Sycamore s owner several times when she called to complain about the therapist. The bad review she gave us is totally unwarranted but she has continually refused to remove it when requested to do so.

They will talk to you like your family while they are feeding the fish in the pond. Had zero problems. All you need to do is get a good looking wife and sit in a rocking chair on the porch and relax

I recently had a Small intimate wedding at Silver Sycamore. Silver Sycamore is such a beautiful and quaint hidden gem and I loved it at first sight. My coordinator Chelsea was always so sweet and easy to deal with and we had a beautiful ceremony and reception here. The only issues that I had were it was a lil too hot inside chapel and saloon. Especially the room they hid me in right before ceremony but wasn t in there that long. I wish that air had either been turned down earlier during the day or lower all together not sure what the issue was. I was sweating a lot. Also, the linens they had for our reception mainly our sweetheart table were very wrinkled and it was quite noticeable. A little ironing would have made it nicer. Little details like that are important. Again, these were lil things and did not ruin our big day. Overall I m happy with our wedding here and I think it s an adorable venue. We had to reschedule our wedding due to covid and they worked hard to be sure we were happy during the process of rescheduling etc. I can t wait to share our pictures with you guys. I know they ll be amazing.

Let me say first that we were VERY excited when I discovered this place online. The atmosphere was something I was truly excited about the atmosphere of the western theme when i booked this for our wedding anniversary. The disappointment started for me on the Friday before we were to check in on Saturday as the e-mail that I was told to expect at 5 pm with instructions on checking in never came. I emailed that night inquiring about this, and called Saturday morning and had to leave a message . I never did receive a phone call back but @ 1045 or so I did get an e-mail thanking me for my patience and that I would receive an e-mail before check in. I did get that e-mail @ 2:59 pm and check in was 3 pm. That is beyond stressful when trying to make sure surprise plans go as planned . Luckily we only live an hour away however the worrying half the day if I would have to figure something else was terrible for my anxiety and mood on my anniversary! Next disappointment was when we arrived to see there was a wedding venue going on - I now realize that the B&B is separate from the part i was so excited about showing my husband and that is okay except that we had the honeymoon suite and a heads up that there was a wedding going on at the venue which would mean that the bridal suite that is attached to the honeymoon suite would be heavily occupied would have been appreciated. I have several recordings of how VERY loud the party( not bride and groom to be clear) that was in the bridal suite were until midnight which made it impossible to enjoy a romantic atmosphere and most def impossible to sleep.(I do not blame them, as on my wedding night I am quite sure we would have been the same way). They were sure to offer add on packages to the room knowing it was our wedding anniversary as i notified them ahead of time, but never mentioned that the suite next to/above us was occupied by the wedding party - a wedding that was at night meaning such activity had to take place so late. The toilet in the room also stayed clogged! And last disappointment was that despite the no smoking policy - a couple that occupied a small cabin which is a little ways behind the honeymoon suite was openly smoking pot as they walked their dogs and the odor was beyond strong.

Pretty good Lack of communication between employees there and being given false information was extremely frustrating. Paying just under two grand for 50 people I figured the service and food would have been well worth it. I was very wrong. The food quality was okay but the amount was disappointing, pretty overpriced for such small amounts. The venue itself was beautiful. We kept having people from other events come into ours because staff wasn t there to let people know there was currently an event going on so that was really annoying. The serving staff were just a couple of kids. After waiting about 45 minutes and not seeing one server in sight I had to literally go find them in their employees only room so that could cut and serve our cake. Then when they cut it, it was a disaster. I figured paying the price that we did we would have been given adult servers that actually knew what they were doing and didn t have to be looked for. A hair was found in the artichoke dip by one of our guest, that was extremely embarrassing. It was a good sized hair too, not like a tiny piece of hair. Overall, the venue itself was beautiful but the service and experience was not. Never using this place again.

We LOVED having our wedding at Silver Sycamore! The venue is exceptional, the staff is phenomenal, and the overall place exceeds expectations! We got married in the stunning chapel, got ready in the cottage and the jail, and had our reception in the hall. I didnt have to worry about a thing. The staff is so helpful and very good at their jobs...and we received so many compliments on our venue choice! I would highly recommend Silver Sycamore to anyone!
