Yesterday was my first visit to this place and my experience was phenomenal!! The place, the atmosphere, the food and the service of the waiters were top quality. The taste of the food is excellent and exquisite. All the dishes had a presentation on par with the most expensive Italian restaurants, without having to pay a high price! Recommended.

I had the combination dish which had fettuccine alfredo, lasagna and chicken parmesan it was certainly ample and very good.. My wife had the chicken shrimp ala Romano which was angel hair pasta with chicken and shrimp a In cream sauce. It was also very good. Tha servings were very generous.

I definitely recommend this place if you love Italian and want a great homey place to try! Kid-friendliness: This is a family run place and they delight in the children when I have seen them! We ate lunch at Tuscanys on Sunday. The service was terrible and they were not crowded. It took over 45 minutes to get our food and then our daughters food wasnt ready. She waited another 30 minutes to get her dish and the waiter apologized and said they dropped the 1st meal and had to remake it. Not one manager came to check on us and nothing was deducted from our bill. We wont be back.

We went at 3:30 on a Sunday, place was empty. But they were doing several takeouts. Staff was pleasant, and well trained. Had a piano set up, when we come back it would be a nice touch. Over a nice dinner and food quality for the price was spot We will be be back

A Roma Tomatoes Disappointment- I ordered their Prosciutto and Arugula pizza, which, when done right, is fantastic. Well, this one did not make the grade. Basically, it was a Roma tomato and Arugula pizza with good parmesan cheese. There was no mozzarella, and the Prosciutto was missing in action. They only added a few slices near the top crust. I do not know if they were holding on to the Prosciutto or if they forgot to include it in a Prosciutto Arugula pizza. Also, the best Prosciutto Arugula pizzas should have plenty of mozzarella. I also ordered the Cannelloni, and it did not impress me.

We were excited to try a new restaurant as our options are limited in the north end of Conroe. The restaurant was a disappointing experience all the way around. We ordered a kids spaghetti with marinara sauce but it came out with meat sauce. We raised this with one of the wait staff but it seemed she didn t understand English so we raised it with another person who was serving us, and he shared they don t have marinara sauce. That was a surprise, especially for kids. My wife ordered rice balls but never received them yet were billed for them. When I raised it with the server, he seemed surprised but then acknowledged we had not received them. I ordered a margarita pizza which was bland and much different from most other versions of a margarita pizza. Seldom do you see tomato s on a margarita pizza and more often than note the cheese is buffalo mozzarella, ours came with shredded mozzarella so essentially this was a cheese pizza with tomatoes and slivers of basil. The atmosphere is nice. They was live music. Prices were reasonable but the service was slow and not good. Food was also not great either. We wanted to love this place but agreed there are better places near by. We won t go back as it was that off for us and instead will go back to other local italian places. I see lots of positive reviews so perhaps others have better experiences. Kid-friendliness: Live music which kids tend to enjoy

We tried Tuscany Italian grill after the theater today and it ended up being a 2 hr and 15 minute dinner for 3 because of wrong orders, and a totally incompetent waiter. There were 2 tables full when we arrived. Waited 10 minutes for water and then another 10 to order drinks N then wait some more. The waiter messed up everyone s order. We got chicken palm for Marsala, the wrong pastas , the wrong desserts etc . He couldn t bring the right amount of togo boxes etc and when we left we got a chicken Marsala to go that we were chargerd for. After driving 40 minutes home we see we got cheese ravioli. The whole dinner was almost comical because it was soooo bad. It s expensive like $24 a dish with no salad. We will not be going back . Love the Mexican restaurant next door.

Just tried a fabulous new Italian Restaurant in Conroe called the Tuscany Grill. As an Italian, I judge by the Veal. I had the best Veal Marsala I have had anywhere in Texas, the Lemoncello Marscapone was out of this world, my friend had an outstanding chicken and Shrimp Carofini and a wonderful tiriamusu. The atmosphere is wonderful, the portions sinfully large and the prices reasonable. Area, our server, was wonderful. A MUST TRY in the area. I have a new favorite!

Dinner here was interesting and odd and, in the end, confusing. First, the service is excellent - prompt, knowledgeable, friendly. The food is of mixed quality: the seafood appetizer had a nice vinaigrette and the seafood was delicious but it was served on a bed of actual mirapoix, the basis for much of French cooking thats just carrots, onions, and celery. An odd choice, and not really bad, but just not great. The meatballs were a disappointment - decent red sauce but the meat was dry and tasteless once you got past the sauce. More successful were the entrees, my spaghetti carbonara and her manicotti. Both were quite good and worth coming back for. And we probably would, except the dining room is completely lacking in ambiance or charm. First, its too big by half, almost like a ballroom, and with minimal decor except an odd guitar/clock on one wall. Then the lights are too bright by, again, half - more like a barbecue joint, or a cafeteria. And we might have let all that slide, except for the music and sound system. Perhaps the worst of both that Ive ever heard in a restaurant, the selections seemed to be focused on Italian post-battle chants, or maybe what union organizers would play before a speech....its hard to describe. And then the sound system - small cheap speakers only along the bar, blasting and distorting there and sounding like the construction crew next door was playing a crappy boom box with blown speakers. Yes Im spending a lot of time writing about this but Ive just never heard anything like it, certainly not in a restaurant serving traditional Italian fare. So, great service, uneven dishes, but terrible sound. Id love to come back for that carbonara, but...

The service was great, the food was good and we enjoyed our dinner. We will likely be back again when we want to indulge in bread and pasta. The only thing I would say I didnt love was the atmosphere. Its not bad it just seemed like it was missing some things and the seating wasnt super comfortable. That would not stop me from going as the food and service make up for it.

Let me start off with saying the service was great! Other staff was friendly. I ordered a Cesar salad and first, it was sweet. Cesar dressing should not be sweet. Second, there was so much dressing, the lettuce was swimming. My entry was chicken Marsala. The taste did not resemble chicken Marsala. I couldn t taste any Marsala and the side of angle hair pasta was all mixed in the sauce. It should have been on the side. It was like pasta soup. I may be back to try the pizza.

I dont usually write reviews. I couldnt help it on this one. I came in to this small place expecting a great time. Everyone was served at my table except me. We had to remind them what I got, and had to wait longer to get it. They completely forgot. There really wasnt a crowd either, so I didnt understand. I got lobster ravioli, which was the best Ive ever had. However, thats where it stopped. Our waiter went missing. When I say missing, we never saw him again. I began to think he walked out. Our drinks ran dry, even something as simple as tea. Still nothing. We waited an hour, then we get our ticket. For two adults and two kids....$122 lunch. Why? Oh, they felt a need to slap on a Service charge of $20, and THEN requested a tip on top of that. Nope. The only time I saw the guy was to take our order and then bring our check, which we had to ask someone elses table waitress for. She even told us it was because of the number of tables the guy had as to why he was so busy. Umm, the place maybe has 30 tables, and only about 8 were in use. Save it. I wont be back with those kind of prices. Joes in Conroe is still the standard to beat for all around best Italian dining.

Clean and casual space. Wasn t a fan of the calamari. Too much breading but the sauce was really good. The chicken shrimp a la Romana: the sauce, artichoke hearts, onions and tomatoes were good. But the pasta and broccoli were overcooked. The tiramisu was the best, definitely a must try. Lemoncello martini was well balanced. The apple martini was good, just wish it came in a martini glass. The espresso martini was good in flavor as well. although visually it looked great, the instant coffee grinds weren t the best garnish choice. They didn t dissolve. Service was good. The place wasn t too busy but it took a bit for my first drink and waiter didn t comeback to take our order until after the drink was ready, but otherwise good with the checkups

Tuscany Italian Grille: A Taste of Italy in the Heart of Conroe From the moment we stepped into Tuscany Italian Grille, the warm ambiance and the aroma of authentic Italian cooking assured us that we were in for a treat. The experience was nothing short of delightful, with dishes that transported us straight to the rolling hills of Tuscany. Lasagna: The lasagna was a masterpiece of layers, each one rich with flavor. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the meat sauce was robust and hearty, and the cheeses melted in our mouths, creating a symphony of textures and tastes. Chicken Parmesan: A classic dish done right. The chicken was tender and juicy, with a golden, crispy breadcrumb coating that was just the right thickness. Topped with a tangy marinara sauce and a generous sprinkle of mozzarella, it was a comforting dish that hit all the right notes. Chicken Alfredo: This dish was a creamy dream. The Alfredo sauce was velvety and lush, clinging to the fettuccine and chunks of chicken in the most satisfying way. It was rich without being overwhelming, a true testament to the chef s skill. Tiramisu: Moving on to desserts, the tiramisu was a cloud of sweetness. The delicate balance of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, mascarpone cheese, and cocoa powder made each bite an ethereal experience. Chocolate Cheesecake: And lastly, the chocolate cheesecake was a decadent finish to our meal. It was smooth, with a deep chocolate flavor that was both intense and comforting. The crust provided a lovely textural contrast, making it a dessert we ll be coming back for. In conclusion, Tuscany Italian Grill is a gem in Conroe that shines with its authentic Italian cuisine. Each dish we tried was a hit, and the service was impeccable. Whether you re a fan of pasta, poultry, or sweet treats, this restaurant is sure to leave you with a smile and a satisfied palate.
