The inside of the restaurant is cute and updated. It has been quite a while since we had been to a Mambos and we came twice in one week to this one. We tried the Restaurant Weeks menu for one and it fed 2 of us with lots of fried rice left over. The margaritas were good and I really recommend the cucumber one! We had the whole snapper (my husband preferred it grilled but I preferred it fried with no batter), flan, fried rice, and the shrimp appetizer. The second time we had the seafood soup, fried shrimp, and aguachiles. All of our food was good and we felt we got a good deal. We will be back!

We were sat down immediately since it was not busy. Ordered our drinks & waited about 20 min for them to come out. I could tell my frozen margarita had been sitting out for a while before it was brought to me. The food is alright. They no longer serve stuffed crab which is what I would usually get. My kids chicken nuggets were so hard I sent them back and refused to reorder them or anything else. They did take the nuggets off my bill which I appreciated, but I won t be returning.

We went to the Mabo Seafood Pasadena location during Houston Restaurant Week. My wife and I both ordered something from that special menu and we were served a LOT (We had enough for 3 meals). We had an off topic question about a neighboring establishment. The power outages dont let us know who is open or closed. MAMBOS IS THE REALEST. Shout out to Lysette who answered the phone and helped answer our question. She went and told us she didnt see any cars in the parking lot. Thank you. We were staying at a hotel accross the highway. We had dinner here well worth it My boys Loved the fried rice. I had the grilled fish shrimp and vegetables very tasty. I ordered a habanero fried rice to go when I showed up to pick it up. It was the plain fried rice good thing I checked. I have a 25 minute round-trip. They said they were going to redo it, but she told me they use the same rice all they did was add habanero peppers in there, didn t try it until I got home and the rice is hard and overcooked. Do not recommend ordering food to go the food is never the same.

If I could give this place zero start I would. Went in for Father s Day it was extremely busy but we were expecting that. However, we did not expect to wait over 2 hours for a table and food and even then our food still hadn t been brought out. Drinks took a long time and by the time they arrived they were extremely watered down, Apps arrived every 30 minutes I guess to stall us. We had finally waited long enough and left the establishment without our food once we seen the tables that were seated way after us receiving their food before us. Overall, worst restaurant experience, food and drinks subpar, dirty silverwear, this place is not equipped to handle such a big crowd.
