The salad choices were great! The soups were just like canned soup, nothing special. The pastas were ok, a little bland. The famous cornbread was hard so breadsticks were a better choice. Over all ok. Waitresses were great!! Friendly and quick to clear dirty dishes.

On a business trip & Had a nostalgic moment from college when we could fill up on healthy food for a reasonable price! I wanted salad, saw this place and ear marked it to circle back the next day. The service was friendly and fast - mostly self serve but the cashier is at the entrance to collect payment first thing upon entry before making your entree choices. My male waiter was fast, attentive, and friendly. He brought my drink order right away & whisked away my tray and soup bowl when he saw they were empty. The menu has expanded since I ve seen a Souper Salad. They have a full self served opened buffet style salad bar & soup bar. They also now have a taco bat, potato bar, dessert bar, and pizza. I had the salad and soup. Why is the vegetable soup sweet? I also tried the gingerbread squares I remembered from back in the day. The soft, melt in your mouth individually cut cake squares are now square muffins that were either out too long or overbaked. I only took a bite before concluding the extra calories weren t worth an extra bite. A nice alternative for the many options out there that are nutritionally worse. Fresh, convenient, still budget friendly and good service. Clean restaurant. Food options stay fully stocked with the hot items hot and the chilled items fresh from what I could tell. A nice trip down memory lane. Vegetarian options: This is a salad bar with a potato bar, taco bar, and pizza bar that can all be customized according to your palate or dietary needs. Not a fan of the open buffet style for obvious reasons - the public is weird & we are post 19 . Parking: In a lot next to the Nike Store, Ulta, 5 Below etc. plenty of parking

There used to be locations all over DFW until they closed them all in the metroplex. Ive misses this place since then, and since I was visiting friends down in Houston, I decided to check it out. Very nostalgic- Its exactly as I remember it, with the same flavour as well! Very good location, great food and very clean place. I will definitely return here again!

Its been years since I have been to a Souper Salad, this one was better than what I remembered. Salad bar was great! great variety, fresh ingredients, and the soup was really good too. The staff was awesome, our waitress kept making sure everything was ok and taking our plates. They kept the whole place very clean which is huge. I wish they had more Souper Salads in Houston.

Our visit was souper impressive! Great salad bar, good soup, very fast friendly service, all around great! I appreciate there was both thousand Island and French dressing. I was pleasantly surprised to find the only Souper Salad still open in the Houston area (Pasadena). All the veggies and fixings were fresh and the harvest soup was delicious. Service was great too, with a special highlight on the cashier Betty. She was friendly, quick, patient and took great care of the senior customers. I liked how she would take a moment to go open the doors for them. I was also happy that they still have the softserve icecream. Lunch was a delight.

Anytime I m in the area, I think about Souper salad! The last one in the Houston area, and it s usually very busy. Sometimes feels a bit cramped, but the line moves quickly. Everything is always fresh, and they re always changing food out. Everyone is always nice too, considering how much they deal with daily. Seems like they go through a lot of food. Harassed by store manager because I wanted a to go box for my leftover baked potato. They don t allow food removal from restaurant unless you pay for a takeout of $7.99. I purchased a child meal who I didn t know was a picky eater and she only had 2 cubes of jello. I would like to have a to go container for a small salad but again I was HARRASED and accused of stealing food and that she would call police if I took food out. Came there to enjoy a meal with a friend I d not seen in a year and manager ruined our time together. Kid-friendliness: Manager harassed me in front of child. Decided to come eat here after church service yesterday. Iuse to come often but I had not visited since covid. First thing I noticed was that it wasnt packed which was great! Next thing, the price has gone up since I last visited but not surprised since it seems EVERYTHING anywhere has gone up. They do have gloves to put on when you grab your plates and tray which I like. I ate a bit of almost everything and it was all delicious. Our server was respectful and attentive to our needs. Overall, I enjoyed it and will visit again.

The atmosphere in this restraunt is anxious as servers and clients rush through the narrow walkways. Dont expect great service as the waiters are busy and I was only checked up on once. The buffet is self serve but the drinks and trash are handled by servers. Also, a bit uncomfortable if you are diffrent demographic than old and white. Prices are too expensive, your looking at $35 for two adults including tip, for mainly vegetables, fruit, and soup. But the food that is served here is great and delicious. Soup choice is limited.

Had the opportunity to meet the owner of Souper Salad a couple of weeks ago. What a nice person. My only regret is I dont live closer to go buy a few times a week at this restaurant. I drive about 15 minutes to grab lunch here b/c not only is the salad bar so fresh, but I love the owner and staff especially the nice young woman who is usually on the register. Other customers aren t necessarily polite (b/c buffets tend to cancel people s manners), but the staff always is and entrance and exit salutations leaves such a positive impression keeping me coming back. The salad bar is extensive and I love their breadsticks. I ve yet to venture beyond the salad bar, but everyone else seems to love their taco bar; I may have to try one or two today. They deliver according to the name of the restaurant but I shall admit they need to add more variety in soups. Practically they offer the same soups all the time. The pasta looks more like salads instead of an actual dish. As for customer service, they are great from the front desk to the waiters.

Ahhh!! I finally had the opportunity to come to Texas and stopping by here was one of the top places I needed to go to before I left. The Souper!Salad! in my local area went out of business several years ago and I haven t been able to enjoy it since. Coming here sparked a lot of amazing memories for me. Everything is just as I remember it The staff were super nice and food was amazing! HIGHLY recommend the Twice Baked Potato Soup and the banana pudding! All the ingredients looked great and the ones I got tasted amazing! I can t express into enough words how great my experience was and how satisfied I am with coming here! Highly recommend stopping by when in the area!

So happy to have found this place here in Texas! Soup Plantation is a family favorite, but without a location nearby we have been missing out on a good ol all you can eat salad bar. Souper Salad is a perfect little gem right down the freeway. The staff are professional and friendly. The dining room is clean and well aired out. The food is fresh and tasty! My daughter and I had a delicious meal that we can both be happy about.

Soups were ok. Pasta mushy and enchilada soup look like someone got sick in container, but our waitress so fantastic better than a up scale restaurant service. Now there soups r very salty. HELP!

$12 for soup, salad, fruit, dessert, taco bar, baked potato. This is an awesome deal. You cant even get an entree for that price these days. They have a discount for seniors. Food is fresh and delicious. My favorite are the fruit, pudding, garlic bread. I also like to mix the creamy potato soup with the tomato meatball soup. Restaurant was clean and gloves are required at the buffet. Service is good.

The servers werent the best and thats the only reason I went 4 stars, the food was fantastic, the buffet sections were the cleanest Ive ever seen at a super salad location and the tables and restaurant was also amazingly clean!! Highly impressed and will be coming back again soon!

Soups were either bland or overly salty. The salad bar was nice but the dressings were also nothing special. A bread stick the best part of my meal. 30$ for two people. Shouldve went to Olive garden for cheaper, better quality soup and salad. Cubed ham was also weird. Not bad but weird.
