I ordered via Daily Lunchdrop. The Spicy Shrimp Salad with pita chips was so good! So was the chocolate chip cookie. I didnt care for the tomato soup, but everything else was great and I will definitely order from here again.

I simply love the salads from salata, but the service, well, thats a different story. The employees are ALWAYS moody, unfriendly, rude, and most have bad attitudes. What is it about this place? Are the employees treated so badly that they cant even interact positively with the customers? It does not matter what location... Pasadena or Pearland, I have never had good service, let alone a smile. What a huge disappointment since the salads are out of this world. However, a negative interaction with the employees is enough to overshadow the dining experience and is what prompted me to write this review. Would I recommend it? No! Will I go back? Yep, despite the rude and negative attitudes from the employees, the salads are very good. I strongly suggest training for all employees starting with customer service and finishing up with cultural diversity training!

I go into Salata as I have been doing for years and get a regular salad to go as I normally do and start to build my salad when I notice the server is being very generous with portions. I think great but realized at the end not so great. When I go to check out the girl tells me that they need 2 containers which I was fine with until she said they were going to charge me double. I said no. She informed me that there was a new policy for OVER PORTIONS. Very poor communication on Salatas part. If they would have said that at the beginning when I started building my salad I may have gone with it but they waited until the end to spring this on me.

Salad was okay. Soup was great. BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO AWFUL. Especially the attitude of an employee named Kailey. I just asked for some more dressing because we thought the dressing we added was not enough and she handled it very RUDELY. A nice employee asked her if we could get more and she was on her phone with a rude face and tone said no she already had 2 . I guess it was hard for her to be polite and nice to a customer and say sorry but an additional will cost extra. I would have understood it however it was handled very rudely. It was our first time to try this place and I will NEVER come back again. We will not recommend this Salata branch. In deed, customer service is very essential to food business and to a customer s satisfaction!!!

worst customer service ever. l walked in and not one word was said to me. He did not speak through the whole process of making my salad nor what protein I wanted or lettuce it was dead silent not one peep from this guy tonight working the closing shift it was him and another girl I think his name was Allen v. I understand people have bad days but he was slamming everything with attitude and did not smile once he was rolling his eyes. Third location and still the same issue. The staff/servers are so unfriendly and always look to be in a bad mood. Honestly, where do they find them because so far, all over them look upset to be working. Are employees treated so bad here? Anyway, thats the feeling they give off. By the way, I had salad left over and asked for an extra dressing (the tiny container), and they charged me $1 for it. Thats ridiculous. I really wish customer service would improve. What happened to friendly service?

Date - 9/7/23 - Well, I decided to give this location another chance today, and guess what...my order was delivered incorrect yet again. The photos attached to this review are from todays order. As you can see, I asked to please not forget selected toppings and please give extra feta and extra pumpkin seeds. Yep, I didnt receive any feta, mixed cheese, or egg as selected. Absolutely ridiculous. Would I recommend this location to anyone? Not at all!!! Date - 8/15/23 - Today was the third time in a row that I have ordered delivery and the salad was much smaller than had I been in the store and items were missing from the salad. Today, the chicken portion was extremely skimpy, the scoop of pumpkin seeds was not a full scoop either. Feta cheese, red onion, and banana peppers were left off. I dont know what has happened at this location; it used to be amazing, but not anymore. I doubt I will order from this location again. Update 8/15/23 - I also sent an email to Salata; they have reached out and to me regarding my experience.

I walked in to see 9 employees gathering around the check out counter, talking, laughing and socializing with each other. Which is fine. But I was standing there waiting. I didnt say anything. Finally two girls came. One of them there was giving small portions. I mean SMALL. When we came across the protein, I wanted shrimp. She put 4 shrimps on a small salad. I asked her, Are you sure thats the right amount? She said yes. So I walk further down to where the crowd is and ask what is the shrimp count for a small salad? They said 10 ! The girl was off. But that didnt matter to me. It was the sass and the attitude that was given by all of them there. I know these are young adults Im complaining about. Fresh out of high school. Going into college kids. But its important that they learn how to talk to people and treat them. I know Salata is not going to be their forever job. But this is learning step. Young adults should start in customer service positions to understand important life and communication skills. I would hope Cindy checks the camera and see whats really going on and coaches them all.

I had togo for my dinner, with chipotle chicken and some vegetables. The salad was fresh and so good even though it is dinner time. Usually we see the vegetables won t be fresh in the evening times but here I felt happy for that. The chicken was properly cooked and I felt dressing are unique. Really loved it

I absolutely love this location! The employees are always very polite. Today I ordered a salad online and I am on crutches. I walked in to get my order and the ladies at the front offered to bring my food to the car. I said thank you but told them I could handle it then another lady let me know that next time I could just call up there and they could bring the food to my car so I wouldn t struggle to go in there. As I was walking to the front door, one of them ran up there to open the door for me. I was very grateful that they did that and offered to bring the food to me next time because they do not have to do that. So I just wanted to give them some recognition although I did not get their names. Great employees!

This used to be one of my favorite locations but last week I went for the first time in a while and it will be a long while before I return. The smell almost turned me away but I was with a friend so stayed. It smelled like a combination of backed up sewage and rotted meat! I could see the floor in the kitchen area was soak and wet and looked disgusting. As I moved down the salad bar I noticed one of the workers pick something out of a to go order he was preparing. He then took a small container of something and quickly hid it under the counter. My salad was just horrible I could not finish.

Everything is always so clean, the staff is always friendly as well as fast at preparation. I usually love this salata in fact it s my favorite one. But I guess they got a new girl and I understand they are new but I ended up getting a large salad and honestly it seemed like I got a small salad. I had to kept having to ask her if she can add more and she seemed bothered. But what got to me is when I asked her for the protein and I kid you not the spoon wasn t even full with chicken. I honestly felt I could count like 4 pieces so I had to ask her to please add more. My surprise is when she charged me double for chicken which I don t think it was right but I didn t question nor argued with it. My thing is please trained them right. She had small hands and one full hand of lettuce is not enough for a large.

When they first opened they literally acted like they were counting the lettuce leaves as they put them in your bowl. However, they seemed to have corrected the situation and have improved. They could be a little more customer oriented or friendly to make it a more pleasant eating experience! I continue to give this location a second chance and the people working the line really do need to be a little more personable and customer service oriented. They seem like they are so worried about how much ingredients they are putting in the bowl instead of focusing on the customer and making the customer happy ;-(. I feel like their focus Hass to be coming from the direction they are getting from upper management ;-(. Make your customers happy and they will return they will also refer more customers to you. This way both parties win :-) P.S. It sure would be nice if you had hummus on the line as a choice!

The restaurant was very clean with tons of options for each salad. The line takes a more time than I would expect to make it all the way through, but that seems to be because of how many options there are. It started getting pretty busy at 11:30, but the line stayed relatively short. The specially drinks they have are amazing. All in all, its a great place to go to lunch!

Salad was really good but expensive. 2 salads and a coke $33. Business model similar to Mod Pizza where you build your own.
