We went there for lunch and waited way to long for our food. When the food finally did a arrive it was cold. We sent it back to only have to wait another 20 minutes. When it came out this time I had to pack it up because I had to get back to work. Very bad experience. My husband had Chile rellenos and they were cold also. We were also charged for the tortillas which they have NEVER done before.

I need to give thanks where that is is due... I had a really rough day and got some very worrisome news. My husband decided to take me out to help cheer me up and help me relax. He decided on Miguels and so off we went our dinner started by me being barely able to walk inside. As we waited to be seated, our hostess, Bailey (hope I spelled it correctly), notice my predicament and requested to seat us at a closer table. This was absolutely amazing and she deserves a raise for taking care to observe and accommodate the customers needs. She made me feel like I mattered and it was extremely needed after my day. Then we got to our seat and were served by Jay (again, I am praying I spelled it correctly. This man was a total delight. He was extremely helpful while trying to decide what to order. He made suggestions and answered our million questions. He was on ball and point and had such amazing attitude. He never stopped smiling and he was so accommodating. I truly think he should have a pay raise. You can not find this kind of young man with customer service like this young man has. Our food was the best. We both really enjoyed our meal and complimentary snacks. When we were about to leave I asked to speak to a manager. Just as quick as possible she arrived. Kelly (again I am praying I spelled it correctly) , the manager appeared in a very pleasant tone and attitude. She greated us with such professionalism and kind demeanor. As I expressed my gratitude for it being our best visit yet, she explained who the staff we were excited about was and informed us we could request our server anytime to see if he was available. This kind of management is rare as well. This entire trip deserves a raise and the highest praise I as a customer and the company can provide. There are no words to express my gratitude for these three after the day and news I had received just earlier that day. I pray you have the same experience on your next trip as we experienced for ours. Thank you to the 3 of you for making my night so much brighter than my day.

Really white people mexican. Doesn t have horchata is what I always ask first when I get there to see if it s real or not. It had a lot of people so I thought it was gonna be good but I realize it s just a bunch of white people who never had good Mexican before. The salsa and chips were really good though. The best Tex-Mex dining spot for Abilene Ive found so far. A well designed and friendly atmosphere. Gives one a feeling of being at a Fiesta! The customer service was top notch!!! We started with a sampler. Every appetizer on it was a flavor adventure. I cannot explain how good the jalapeño bacon corn bites were. Omg! I got the unos plate. It was out of this world good. I wanted the chubby chimi, but I wanted a plate with selection. The atmosphere is a 10! All in all a wonderful experience! Cant wait to go back! Parking: Huge parking lot! Our waitress was super attentive and overall fantastic. Now to the food. Chips, salsa, queso, guacamole and pork rinds were fantastic! Unfortunately, that did not transfer to the main course. I ordered shrimp brochette with street corn and steamed veggies. The waitress told me it came with 8 shrimp but only came with 6. Thats ok because it tasted like it was fried in old grease or dirty mop water. Ive been in the streets on Mexico many many times and I have never had it served iced cold but thats how they do it here. That should told to guests beforehand. The steamed vegetables were good.

This wasnt our first time here and we came because we knew the food would be good. The service was fairly good as well, the environment and decor is nice. Just this night I really wish wed been sat somewhere else or asked to move. I did mention to our waiter a bit too late I think but...the table/booth next to us were incredibly loud and talking about guns and yes they were talking about hunting but he just kept going on and on about the gun and scope and that it was an AK blah blah blah and with the whole gun control topic, mass shootings, it made me really uncomfortable. Those guns need regulated and you dont need to disrupt other peoples dinner talking loud about your guns! Not everyone is gun happy!!! We ended up packing up our food leftovers and just leaving once I got too frustrated , I have PTSD and anxiety and just couldnt take it anymore. Night out ruined.

Walking is in very welcoming, dim lights to make it more calm feeling and lots of plants and decorations to look at as you wait. Staff helps you as soon as you come in. We discovered this amazing Mex-Tex restaurant last spring on our road trip to Alpine and intentionally built a return visit into our travel plan this spring! Their courtyard patio seating is such an intriguing and festive setting for a late spring evening dinner & drinks. Main reason for our review is to give a shout out to our server - Mia who was delightful, attentive and enjoyable to visit with. My mom and I stopped in for lunch and had a great experience. Our server, Yaya, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the restaurant and surrounding area. I tried their new birria tacos. They were so delicious and comes with consume, beans and rice. I highly recommend this dish, it is a little different than taco truck style, be ready to pick them up and get a little messy. My mother got the beef taco and cheese enchilada plate with beans and rice, and enjoyed it as well. This was the biggest crispy taco Ive ever seen. The atmosphere was very authentic, fun, and enjoyable. They have indoor table or booth and outdoor patio seating. Handicap accessible entrance seating and very clean accessible bathrooms. There is more than ample seating and I cant imagine there would be much of a wait time for a table, but I went for lunch and was sat immediately and served chips, queso, and some of the best salsa. I will recommend this place to everyone and I will be back. Parking: They have ample free and handicap accessible parking they have takeout entrance and takeout parking as well

The food was pretty good. It was so crowded and busy; (Which I guess is good) however, they were not staffed for it. Our server was clearly new and had too many tables. She needed help. Also, she kept bringing refills of lemonade and NEVER mentioned they were not free refills. It should have been mentioned before she just brought them.our food had clearly been sitting under the warmer. It was fine.

So delicious I stopped here twice in 3 days. The atmosphere is very groovy, quite like a nightclub in the bar/lounge, and yet very relaxing as well. Highly recommend their Navajo (puffy) tacos. Not only are they delicious, crunchy, and filling, but they are also celiac friendly. The margarita is on point, more fresh and enjoyable than many premade counterparts. 10 outta 10, do recommend.

You have to take the Mex out of the name. I am not sure why they print the pepper by the name and call it spicy. NO SPICE AT ALL!! Food was good, but its not Mexican food. The bacon wrap shrimp was burnt to a crisp. And i believe the beans were straight from a can. Wife did like the pineapple margarita.

The food is very much Tex-mex however customer service was 10/10 Brendia was amazing and very attentive to us! She made great recommendations to us! We are here on a small trip and she was amazing! We had a small issue but the shift manager I believe was quick to fix the issue and make it right! If we re ever back here we will visit Miguel s again because their customer service was immaculate!
