I made a reservation for the weekend. The photos show that it is clean, but it is quite the opposite. Very good for the price. This is definitely a budget option. There were a few scratches on the wall and the carpet isnt perfect but so well. It smelled clean and it felt clean and the water was hot and the employees were nice. The location isnt the greatest but I never once felt unsafe. Definitely worth the money if youre looking to save a few bucks.

This hotel has nothing to do with it according to the photos they post. The smell is so terrible of cigarettes even though there are no smoking signs from what I see they still do it. The hotel inside is very humid and the ceilings look very terrible and in poor condition, the bed sheets had stains and even the pillows did not look clean. They should have a little more hygiene in all aspects and the Hotel is in better conditions, I will never return to that Hotel!

Was supper disappointed with this place, bed sheets were dirty , room smelled horible, pool was discustingly green with trash, front entrece door on side was craked and ugly counch smelled , shower tile and caulk was ugly and yellow in some spots. We have been coming here for 7 years to visit our grandkids It use to be a wonderful hotel. But this year its awful.. No pool or hot tub, rooms are gross, breakfast bar really bad. Most of all we are stuck here for 6 days with no redund Rooms: Not good at all

I guess its on me for accidently getting the smoking room. The room reeked of smoke and cheap weed, furniture was damaged so i couldnt enjoy lounging on the couch on my downtime. Front desk was kind enought to lend me some citrus spray but the smell was too overwhelming and didnt help. What really warranted the 1 star was the breakfast, waffles and muffins was all they had. The pool was laughably filthy and needed maintenance. Only redeeming feature is the location is ideal for exploring the area. Nearby activities: The hotel is right next to the grand indoor flea market which was the reason to get the hotel.

Just when I thought only the Indian ladies were the rude ones then I find out just how rude James is. They cut you off in mid sentence. I asked for the mgr and they say oh he left but then 10 minutes later he is back but they still kept telling me he was gone. I paid for a week but plans changed and I had to leave earlier than planned so I asked numerous times for a refund on the unused days. This is when they started giving me the run around about the mgr being available or not. Needless to say I still have not received my refund. I will never book with this hotel again. Very very rude!!!

The room was extremely hot when we check in. The AC was not on. The service was not friendly. They mainly wanted to hurry up and get you out of their face. I asked for towels and never received any. My iron didnt work and when I asked for another one they never brought it. The pool hours are not correct. I was told the pool will be open till 10 it closed at 8. The restroom was bad. The tub paint was chipping rust on certain areas. I mean the list goes on but it was all the way bad from the beginning

Room looks dirty and run down the Hindu guy who runs the front desk is a bit rude complained that our room didn t have a working phone has bugs and did not have a working tv and also our door didn t close all the way. I had to ask them multiple times to be switched that was after only our first night after that the new room was worse had a whole roach infestation and management has yet contacted back after we made the complaint.they had a bunch of safety issues also that they ignore including the people smoking weed in the nextdoor room and the hookers on property meeting up clients wich we did tell him about but he ignored everything he only wanted to refund us 1 nights when we told him we were in that room for 7 nights. I came to Houston for the first time for my birthday hoping to have a great experience. This was the second hotel that I d arrived at that day which was dirty. My room was infested with roaches that tried to literally come into my cup and my food!! Checked in at around 9pm and left by 12am due to the bad conditions. Initially after seeing one roach I just thought maybe it was just one. But from 9-12 I saw at least 10 roaches, this makes me question the cleanliness of the location in general. If the room is infested with roaches, then what else is it infested with?!? Bedbugs next?!? No thank you, I will not be bringing any of these insects home with me. I tried to still enjoy my night so by 12am I went to the front desk to make them aware of this situation I believe his name was Balt . He informed me that no rooms were available, no cleaning staff available, and that there s nothing he can do on his end. This is ridiculous, after a guest only being at a location for four hours just to only complain about an entire infestation!! Nothing can be done?!? He also handed me roach spray and that was it. Am I supposed to stay up all night spraying down the roaches hoping one doesn t crawl on me?!? I m also questioning this as well, to just have roach spray on hand and ready to go.. that means that hes used to these type of complaints. They need to get an exterminator I am not an exterminator. At this point I really went to sleep in my car, I was better off there than to stay in that hotel room scratching all night with the roach spray beside me fighting for my life on vacation. Please either stay home or sleep in your car. This was the worst experience of my life and I never want to stay at any places by Wyndham again. I stayed up until 4am!! Trying to get transferred to either a new room or location and neither Travelocity or Wyndham themselves could do anything at all for me. I was so desperate to have a good experience I even asked the customer service representative to try to find me a new hotel whether it be even an hour away and no one could help. Worst experience, worst birthday, and no compensation for this inconvenience smh. Safety: Not safe due to cleanliness of the room, bedbugs, roaches

Over all it was safe and clean the front desk girl was so nice and had a huge smile. I would stay there again only fault I found was we are under a heat advisory and they do not leave on the A.C so it was so hot in my room I could hardly breath. It took 2 hours to cool off and that almost made me go get another room. Other than that it was nice

This is one of those pay for what you get type places. The location is convenient to Houston. The building in very old and run down and in need of some serious renovations. I think the staff did a good job and are obviously trying their best. The free breakfast was convenient. The pool was clean. We stayed in a room on the second floor and occasionally the whole floor just shakes. The room itself was in pretty poor condition. The curtains were stained, carpet very dirty and laying over some obviously loose and damaged flooring. One lamp was missing the lampshade. The plugs in the bedside lamp did not work. The couch was ripped. The baseboards were falling off the wall. The table legs were not attached and just balancing the table top up. The bathroom ceiling light/vent did not work. Only 1 outlet in the bathroom worked. The bathroom tile was loose and cracked. The shower was moldy and the curtain would not stay closed because of how crooked the rod was hung. Which meant the water got all over obviously further damaging the floor. The towel hook was broken. We had a non smoking room but the last day someone in the room next door was smoking something that was not cigarettes. I would not recommend staying here unless you re passing through and just need 1 cheap night.

House keeping staff is good. Rooms are decent despite illegal narcotics choking you out while trying to rest for work. Keep your room cold unless you want bed bugs biting you or your children Breakfast is decent but dont have high expectations. Not many roaches but have smacked a few The area is quiet for the most part at night. Nice strip of landmarks in the area as well. Its no Caesar palace but again just be cautious and protect yourself.

Im late in my review but I stayed early October. Im really thankful with the service provided when my family stayed there. I was in town visiting my mom who was in the last stages of passing away. I only booked for a day and asked for another day and if possible to stay in the same room so we didnt have to pick up and move around. They told me how to book another day (booked 3rd party so had to do the same). I was a bit late going to check in for the 2nd day of my stay and the key no longer worked. But checked in again no issues, renewed key and was able to stay in the same room. Im so thankful they didnt move our stuff after I failed to check in on time due to issues with my mom. So thankful for the hospitality while I was dealing with such a hard time. Room kept clean and fresh towels everyday. We had long week of traveling and it was the best hotel we stayed at. Clean room, comfy beds!

My husband works in Houston and this is where we choose to stay when I take our kids to see their dad. All employees are extremely nice and helpful. The owners are so friendly and go the extra mile to make you happy. Their daughter is very nice and I feel so comfortable with the owners. We have had many different conversations and shared stories about family and experiences which speaks volumes for me because I normally do not trust others enough to talk freely to. This will always be our go to place for a hotel.

This was the worst hotel experience I had in my life. Let me start from staff. The staff was not helpful at all and not cooperative. I booked a deluxe suite with a jacuzzi paid 236 dollars for two nights. I got a room which was nothing like a suite with hole in the blanket. Carpet was so dirty that our foot got dirty walking on it: it was all ripped of from places. Sofa was so dirty that one cannot sit on it. So called Kitchen tap was leaking. When ask for a refund they refused to do it even they saw everything that is mentioned. I wish I could have reported this horrible experience to the building authorities but I did not had enough time to do so. I was completely ripped off the money I paid and the service I got: please avoid booking here.

Stayed hére for four days and the only issue we had was the door was hard to open from previous people damaging it. Unlike other hotels that would say no visitors, and constantly watching what you were doing. Being rude After you pay for the room. Are wanting every persons ID. We evacuated from hurricane Delta in Louisiana. Barbara at front desk was awesome!! The manager however is very rude, very unprofessional and lacks any kind of kindness. What so ever. Rooms were amazing. Although there was only oatmeal for breakfast. If i had to come back i would only if Barbara was at frontdesk when i got here. If i saw the manager i would turn and walk out.

I ve stayed here many times over the years. It started out as a nice hotel but with cheap updates and lack of continued maintenance it has gone downhill severely. Smells like everyone that stays there is smoking dope. It s not a good place to have kids stay. I ve even found food in the refrigerator. The owner and employees are great. I just wish they would make the appropriate moves to be a nice hotel again. Maybe then I ll comeback.

I stayed there between the 16-21 Of June 2020 while I was moving into my new house, and now my house has to be treated because I was back and forth between the hotel room and my house! I showed the front desk attendance the picture of the bed bug and my marks and he offered me 10 dollars off my stay! This is ridiculous! I contacted wyn care who in return says it s out of there hands since they are a franchise and gives me the owner Kamlesh information but I haven t been able to get in contact with them! This needs to be radiated and I m not accepting 10 dollars off my stay. I was with you guys for 5 days! And I can t even move into my HOME! I will be contacting an Attorney.

We have a block of rooms for business travel. The manager has been wonderful. He has received, printed, and scanned documents for me, has facilitated our confirmations and folios. We will stay here anytime we are in the area!

Right off the bat I was charged an extra $30 on my card than what was told to me when I booked the Room. Phone did not work no shower curtain no heat and the front desk told my daughter she was a liar when she asked for shower curtain. Very rude very unaccommodating and the Room stunk and the loveseat had white stains on it. But Do not recommend unless you wanna overpay for very crapy services. I only gave it one star because thats the only way I could post this review

Stayed here for nearly a week. The accomodations were very suitable for the stay. Had no issues. I actually had two reservations that were back-to-back. The staff had no issues with me retaining the same room. The Wi-Fi worked all the time. I was able to use my Amazon Fire stick in the room using their Wi-Fi service. I was able to catch up with all my regular programming while I was away from home.

The hotel was good for the price. Breakfast had a waffle maker and frozen cheese filled eggs (omelets) that you could microwave. The typical yogurt, toaster, juice and coffee machine. Can t complain about that! The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for two adults and 3 kiddos. When we first arrived, the area looked a little shady, but it really wasn t that bad. There were plenty of things in close proximity of the hotel, which is why we chose this one. The lady at the front desk was very sweet and helpful when we arrived also!! We made this trip our summer family vacation. We purchased City Passes online, which was a great experience and we will be doing this again for the other locations offered by them. So, on this trip, we visited NASA, the Houston Zoo, the Houston Aquarium, Kemah Boardwalk, the Holocaust Museum, a Galveston seawall beach, La Porte- Sylvan Beach, the USS Texas, and the San Jacinto Monument. I am so upset that I had to come back and delete my previous review. I had given it 5 stars and written a great review! BUT I recently have been having issues with this hotel. For one, they have kids outside with a TENNIS BALL hitting VEHICLES. not one or two but 8 vehicles were continuously HIT! That did not stop them until some other guests got upset and reported. Well another issue, I know this is NOT a 5 star hotel. OBVIOUSLY. Well I had a VERY rude man BANG BANG BANG on my door. He worked here, he said I needed to be quiet because downstairs is complaining! They worked nights or something so I apologized and said sorry and ok. Well he still didn t leave. He kept saying it over and over. I said OK THANKS. here s the thing ! My kids were asleep. No one was jumping. I have a 2 year old and a little baby who doesn t even walk. Only crawls. Like I said. This is not a 5 star hotel. You walk and you can hear your own thumps. I hear loudness all the time. Banging fighting next door and in halls but I don t complain because you get what you pay for and obviously it s not a 5 star hotel. What do ya expect ? But the fact that I now have to discipline my children from even CRAWLING is horrific or put my 2 year old in timeout because he s not allowed off the bed because I m afraid of noise and that the angry man will come up here ! If it was an issue they should have given us a room downstairs. We spend ALOT of money here and for my children and I to be treated like that ! I have to shuffle my feet so that I won t make any noise! THIS IS NOT THE HILTON! you have CHEAP FLOORS, there WILL BE NOISE! I m absolutely appalled! The cleaners are the sweetest people ever. I feel for them ! They also put up with their fair share of rudeness!!

Only 1 type of fruit, apple, rooms are broken. Shower water is toxic, and causes rashes. Roaches and stains on ceiling. Couch bed, door, chair were broken. Bad odor on beds. Allergies are provoked here. Bed bugs, dusty, and bloody on carpet. Smells moldy. Non safe outlets. Cracked walls.

Outside building not too nice, but over all the stay was quiet and comfortable air conditioning good and sheets change every day. The pool area was clean too. The only thing bat with the room was a red stain in the carped and in the bathroom the shower was dropping.
