Not bad just I had eggs over medium however one of them was more like a poached egg, I feel there s some unseen quality here though, and I m sure the lunch and dinner menu items are really great , if you re followed, it s really difficult to get the quality you should, after all you are paying for it, unfortunately, I m not that lucky

The breakfast bacon, egg, and cheese croissant was delicious. I cant wait to try the rest. Burgers came out and looked amazing. I hate that they close so early. Nice little spot.

Was meeting a buddy in town and he saw this place had good reviews in the area. Yes its a whole in the wall. Yes it is small, yes its a little rough; however, when you walk in you can see why its still open its a community restaurant and has been for some time. And they survived covid. Anyways I ordered chicken fried steak it was well seasoned but had some batter issues. My buddy got a fried pork sandwich we were gonna share but he ate it all before I got half way thru mine he said it was damn good. But what stole the show on the lunch was the bowl of legit homemade chicken n dumplins. Absolutely perfect. I usually prefer biscuit dumplings these had noodle dumplings. But I will stop here every time I come to Houston and bring a few orders home.

Local diner, where everyone says hi. Food is great, cooked to order. Today we went for lunch. All the food was good, but also had the best fried okra Ive ever had in a restaurant. Had to steal them off my friends plate, one at a time, as I had ordered onion rings. Which were great. No regrets!

This place was amazing. Such a hole in the wall, but they were so accommodating and welcoming. They have a very wide range of food, and everything was exceptional. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and chicken and dumpling soup, and my wife got a burger. The soup was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it, but everything was exceptional, so its hard to decide what to get next time. Ill definitely have to make a trip out to Humble, just to eat here.

Fantastic lunch! We were in the neighborhood and needed something to eat. I took a chance on this place and am SO glad I did. I had probably the best burger Ive had in years. The onion rings were great, crunchy but not greasy and the onion ring inside cooked to perfection. The lady that took our order came to us after she saw that my mom was older and used a cane. She had everything delivered to our table and the food was cooked fresh so it smelled amazing. I dont know if well branch out from burgers next time because they were just so good but the food on the other tables looked and smelled amazing so I think this is a place that is just a gem to find. The location is in a smaller road but it wasnt difficult to get to and there was plenty of parking. Well definitely come here again when were in the neighborhood.

My son and I went here for lunch and was completely overlooked and ignored which resorted in us going to another place to eat! I will never go here again and will definitely tell people about my experience so they don t support this business! Very disheartening and frustrating to hear my son ask why we weren t helped!

i have never ever had a bad meal at kays, everything is so so good!!! ive had the protein bowl which is so filling and the chicken is so soft and the chicken and dumplings which is absolutely DELICIOUS 100% my favorite meal to have. everyone is very kind and there is a homey feel to the restaurant. pancakes are delicious and fluffy and the french toast is great as well!

On a whim, we stopped in for breakfast. A comfortable hole in the wall is a fit description of the ambiance. Plus, I knew it was going to be interesting when the proprietor pointed at the far wall and said, Grab a mug and serve yourself. Oh, creamers in fridge pointing in other direction. It was basic diner coffee; however, the food was absolutely scrumptious. We ordered blueberry pancakes with real blueberries, eggs, breakfast meats, and cheesy grits. The place has good vibes and good food. The Mom at the table loved the sign above our table. I know we will be back.

Ate here for lunch. Had the Patty Melt (minus bun) with avocado. Husband had cheeseburger, fries and onion rings. Food was hot and delicious! Service was straightforward, but quick. Definitely worth the 2 extra minutes off the highway!

I visited Kay s Sandwich and Burgers because it had great reviews! It did not disappoint! I got a club sandwich and one breakfast taco (sausage, egg, potato, and cheese). Everything was delicious and still warm when I got it home! I can t wait to go back. I spent less than $20 on everything.

Honestly food was so good! It was cooked instantly literally had to wait less than 10 mins for it to be done, the waitress was very nice and grateful( she told someone besides us I forgot to say thank you for - and I wanted to thank you) also sorry dashes are because I don t remember exactly what she was thanking for, But absolutely loved her and this place it s small, clean, and a decent place to grab some breakfast if your really hungry and can t wait! Amazing little local restaurant. Much better burgers than the normal fast food places. No fountain drinks, only cans or bottled drinks, but the food makes up for that. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to sidewalk is on north side of shopping strip a few doors down.

This has to be the best hole in the wall breakfast and lunch place. Sam Houston himself would fight Santa Anna all over again to eat here! Wow! I have been here 4 times in three weeks. It s that good. If you re going to eat breakfast, I would recommend the protein bowl. It was outstanding the eggs were cooked perfectly the fresh avocado and sautéed spinach and mushrooms was amazing. My companions ordered breakfast bacon tacos, which were extra large in size. Previous meals have included Kay s hamburgers, Kay s club, AND (drumroll please) I will have to say the absolute best chicken and dumplings I have ever had!! Boom goes the dynamite you must stop hear your life will change, and you will be blessed!!! And Sarah, your host is a beautiful woman who cares about every person who walks in her door. The seating is small town, coffee, shop style people share tables because the food is that good! This place is worth the wait it s worth sitting with the others. The best in Humble, Tx. Today I ordered burgers for my husband and me. Mine was burger with avocado. His was burger with mustard. The burgers were very good. I like the atmosphere. It reminds me of growing up in the sixties in a small town in Ohio. Ive seen this place before, but never stopped in. I would definitely recommend this lunch spot. I will visit again, hopefully soon Kid-friendliness: I wouldnt hesitate to take my grandkids there. Parking is okay, too
