Let me just start by saying I ve never been inside a Pluckers before and I was lucky enough to have Florena as a server! She was very personable, super funny and attentive. I work in the industry so I tend to be critical when I go other places but I didn t have one complaint about her. Great service, great experience would return for her any day

I love going to Pluckers, especially the one in Pasadena, TX. The staff always treats you like you re a regular and the food is always made to perfection. The beer is cold and the vibe is always right. Parking: There s some locations that you have to park across the street in other establishments but the Pasadena location always has parking. Kid-friendliness: There s great stuff on the kids menus that even adults want. The coloring books are fun and the staff is great with kids.

First of all, Pluckers (Shepherd location) is our favorite wing and beer place, but the Pasadena location has consistently left us a bit disappointed. Went again last night with some friends and our waiter just wasnt attentive at all. We had to remind him to check on our beer, which was not frosty cold when it arrived, then our food arrived cold and the buffalo hot wings and ranch dressing were extremely salty. They literally tasted like someone dropped a spoonful of salt in the little container. Towards the end of our dinner, the waiter did check in us multiple times, but did not remove any of the empty plates. I didnt want to seem rude in front of our company so I didnt say anything, until THEY finally said, Why isnt this waiter removing all these empty plates? Multiple times they were out of our favorite beer, and multiple times it didnt arrive frosty cold (our favorite thing about Pluckers draft beer) and multiply times the waiters arent very attentive. Not likely to go back to this location.

Ordered 2 tall beers (1 michelob and 1 corona) they mixed them up so we sent 1 back and dealt with the other. After an hour and 15 min asked for a 2nd round and apparently Camilo the manager told our waitress that it was too soon to get another round. Although we had ordered a full 2 entrees he refused to serve us the 2nd round. I asked for our tab and left. I have been to this location several times and never was dealt with this issue. This will be the last time I ever go.

Its in Pasadena, so expect a not so safe environment. Put some cameras in the parking lot and Ill go again. My vehicle and several others were broken into while me and other customers were spending money here. Also 2 associates were also targeted. Called the officials but no cameras were found facing the larger side of the parking lot. And also, its not the first time this happened at this location. Apparently they have not learned the lesson of installing cameras. They dont even care about their associates safety. What a joke. Definitely not a safe spot.

This is my first time at pluckers and I did not have a good experience nor will I return. The woman behind the bar was more concerned about her pre close than actually serving me. After my food was dropped I sent my fries back once because they were cold. They brought more out at the same temperature and the bartender said this is the hottest they ll get. I asked them to be removed from my bill. Not once was I asked if I wanted more to drink or can I get you anything else after knowing this was my first visit.. Just be aware they have a limit on your beer now!! We went around 3pm to sit and relax while we watch the Astros game. My man and I were there OVER 2hrs and only had two drinks each. Our first waitress was super nice and tentative, but once shift changed happened no one really check on us, maybe twice. I was asked if I wanted another drink (my 3rd)-which I received. Then again when we asked for a 3rd for my man. We were told he could not order another tall though-he would have to order a short. Actually she said he could order as many shorts as he wants. What?? That makes no sense to me! Matt (or Mark?)- the manager told her she couldn t do it. We were told our first server SHOULD have told us, but we were never informed. Not only that, but it s not like we were asking for them all in a short period of time. Help me understand how it would make a difference ordering unlimited shorts, but we couldn t order ONE more tall??? Ridiculous. The food was okay, but the ending result ruined the whole experience. The last impression is always the one remembered. The manager didn t even bother to come over, just talked to the waitress about us from the other side of the bar. I guess I should have checked the other reviews before going. First waitress was the only reason for two stars, she was great!

When this location first opened, they were so good and our go-to. The last few times we have gone, the food is not very good, comes out luke warm, fries usually come out cold and chewy and they no longer offer sweet potato fries. My husband had traditional wings and they either fried them WAAAAY too long or stuck them back in to heat them up bc it sounded like he was eating chips they were so crunchy and dry! With how they keep going down rather we visit when they are busy or a little earlier in the day, I dont see then staying open much longer! They also now ask you to pay them directly on the pad they take your order on, and stand right over you as you run your card and select payment.

Waitress took out order and all we got were drinks and an appetizer, food never came and the only offer was to have the food made real fast for us again after already waiting an hour and 10 minutes for the rest of our food, terrible customer service and every other family or group that didnt look like us get their food we were over it. Went to this Pluckers location after my daughters dance recital and on Fathers Day. We had a group of 9 people. Service was not good, we had to repeatedly ask for the same items. Weve ordered from this location about 4 times in the last 8 months and every time without fail they mess up our order; my girlfriend always pays for extra ranch and 3 of the 4 times, including today, they didnt give it to her. The last 2 times shes just dealt with it since we get takeout and this is a 15 minute drive, but this time she checked it at the counter before walking out and had to ask for it. Myla G, the woman working the counter and whose name is on our receipt as the server, was extremely rude to her when she asked for the extra ranch as if somehow this was an inconvenience. Twice before and now today as well they left out an entire part of our order. I got a monster boneless wings and they gave us everything else but that, and twice before they have left out big parts of our order like this including a monster basket and an entire order of fries. We literally never get what we order, and they ask for a tip on a takeout order. Also when my girlfriend called to get our order set straight and going before she drove back so itd be done when she got there little miss Myla was rude again, and fought my girlfriend on speaking to the manager to get this sorted out almost like she knew she screwed up and didnt want to get in trouble. Pluckers is normally great, we go to the one in Killeen all the time. But this one out in Pasadena? Not worth it. You will never get your order and it will always be a fight to get your food done right.

Normally, this Pluckers is a hit for me. Totally missed it this week, on Friday. First, our server was not very friendly. I dont know if she had just gotten to work or she was previously upset, but we didnt need to monotone voice. Just felt over rude and disrespected, like we did something to uspet her, then I would understand, but we had just sat down! Continued like that nearly until the end. Then we ordered a full order of fried pickles. It burned the roof of my mouth, I had to pull out dead skin at the table and I havent been able to eat comfortably since. I figured also they didnt have anyone watching the window where the food comes out because my server still served me this plate. Dirty plate, smears or cheese and fingerprints. Missing BBQ sauce. This is only thing I get to eat at Pluckers. [The other week too, they used shredded cheese on this dish but when I asked about it, they said it comes with shredded cheese. Hmm no it doesnt? But then comes out with the right one fove minutes later.] Our server showed the manger the dirty plate, but he never came over to apologize or anything. I work in food service, restuarant business as well, this just screams totally unacceptable. I didnt want the food comped, but at least an apology, or acknowledgment that they dont send food out like that normally.

Arrived to eat with the family when a business call came through for an emergency meeting with a business associate. I told him to meet me at the bar while my family sat down at the table an ordered. I tried to order a beer at the bar and they wouldn t sell it it to me because I had a table but what they failed to understand that I was going to have to let my family eat while I waited for my business associate to arrive. I tried to explain to the manager but I just stopped myself from speaking to an ignorant person and grabbed my family and left. I called my business associate to meet us at Bubbas across the highway. The wife and kids are eating and I am sitting here with Bill who also had his family with him so both of our families are eating together while we sit at the bar and discuss details over our upcoming project that s near by and here we are on a Sunday having to sacrifice some family time for work . Out of all the Pluckers locations I ve visited, this one was the only disappointing one. We waited over an hour to be seated, which normally doesn t bother us because at least we know the food will be good not here though. They must take the alcohol out the bartenders checks bc the drinks had virtually no liquor. After I returned my drink, the replacement was no better. Highly disappointed. The food took forever to come out and it was on the cold side. I suspect they attempted to re-warm it or something because it tasted like reheated chicken. I didn t even finish my ten piece meal. Didn t order dessert because I was so disappointed by then. Will not return and do not recommend. The only redeeming quality was the staff. Our server was so nice, sweet, and attentive even though she was stretched thin.

Was craving some wings while I was in town and decided to try this place out. Borough a couple people with me and they loved it! We were seated quickly even though the place was pretty packed. And we got our drinks right away! They serve water in huge cups which is great because I drink a lot of water! I ordered the 8 piece wings from the lunch menu with waffle fries and ranch. I asked for extra ranch too which came out with my food. I love when they don t forget! I got half buffalo medium and half garlic parmesan. The chicken was cooked perfect! And the flavors were spot on! It was all so delicious. And their ranch was a good quality ranch that complimented the wings and my fries because I like to dip my fries in ranch. The fries were also perfectly cooked and nice and crispy! If I m ever in texas again I ll definitely try this place again!

Sad and unprofessional service..the wings were disgusting and my drink (sprite) was flat even though the server claimed that theyd switched the refill bags in the fountain drink dispenser. It was my first time visiting and will be my last time visiting!

Itd be best to dine in rather than order out. Just from my own personal experience, my 1st time here was HORRIBLE but the manager made it Right! So much so that I dine in with my family from time to time. And they fry their pickle spears!!! Yeeasssssssssss!!! Thanks guys!!!!

Almost every time i ve been to the shepard location the service isn t great and the food is always cold but tonight made me want to actually go back to a pluckers. Devin the server was so sweet and welcoming. She came up to the table and greeted us with a genuine smile and bright personality and that makes all the difference in how i view service and the restaurant and determines whether i return. But this pluckers service was on point and the food was hot. She was really great thanks Devin!

These 5 stars go to Christian the blonde bartender. No words, he just made us feel welcomed and he acknowledged us as soon as we sat down at the bar. My friend said i like that guy and I agree. Very friendly, funny and attentiveeee. Definitely will come again when he is at the bar. He checked on us every chance he got. We saw how quick he got thru all his tickets and still provided great service to us.

There is a line to get in, but its worth waiting. The attention of the workers is very good. The size of the food is large, you are very satisfied. Dr Pepper flavor boneless are some of the best foods I have ever eaten. Without hesitation I would eat there again.

We usually come here often, but the food is ever really fresh. Service is not good.. it seems like they are always training people. We order the same things each time and the food is always cold and something is forgotten. After like 10 visits(hoping for a good experience) this was our last one. It s the closest puckers to our home but This location just can t seem to get it together.

Unfortunately I had to take down my old 5 star review after today s visit. I used to swear by this place, I can t even recommend this place to people anymore. We placed an order for pickup today for dinner, my wife got bone in wings and I got the boneless bites meal. We both ordered our fries tossed in that dry ranch stuff and honestly couldn t even tell if it was even done or not. $1 extra each to have that done. So there s money wasted already. We ordered nothing but ranch for dipping sauces for everything and even extra ranch on top of that, we got 2 puny ranch containers and a blue cheese some more money wasted. We also ordered the fried cheese sticks, those were just terribly disappointing, they tasted like they were made hours before I even thought about ordering food. I ll attach some pictures of those too. More money wasted, we barely touched them. Back to the boneless wings, I got them in garlic Parmesan, they also tasted old and bland. There was this greasy/fatty/sludge looking stuff all in the bottom of my to go box and honestly I lost my appetite after I took the first bite of this food man. I literally picked up the order as soon as it was ready to go, fresh out of the kitchen and everything was messed up/old/cold. Both of our fries had to have been sitting in the kitchen for a while. We will not be returning, which is unfortunate because like I said this used to be my favorite restaurant. New staff? No effort? Poor management? Idk but this was trash, total waste of hard earned money

We had a 2hour wait to be seated 12 ppl. And when they told us the seat was ready. Ii was not and that made another 30min. Then they had to split the party to another table that became a joke and we had to wait 20min. For the other table to finsh. By the time we left we had been there almost 5hours. That place is not that good to be there from 4 hours standing.

Ive been to 3 different pluckers locations and this one is a miss , the staff were great ,nice, and Attentive I have no issues with that, however the food quality is severely worse then all the other locations. I usually order my fried pickles, psychedelic frog and my wing tenders. Never had issues with other locations in quality,but the kitchen needs some work .my chicken is, Def not tender, Abit rough to eat, bad parts,and lack of sauce on my wings is sad. I ate half then took the other half home and add more of my own sauce. Fried pickled were forgotten by kitchen as my waitresses checked often back and I could tell she was frustrated at the situation . I got it nearly at the end right before we got our check. Secondly thru my personal opinion , not sure about others coming here Dec 29 I know its cold outside evit Jesus the inside is extremely warm uncomfortable ,that heater was full blasting . I would avoid this location till they get the quality fix.

I CANT give 5-stars this time. Waitress was nice and helpful. Now, for the COLD fries I received VERY unsatisfying, to say the less, Philly steak was awesome. Im sorry to say my wife asked me if I wanted them to replace them, I said 1st off why they ALREADY know they are cold, 2nd by the time I receive them Ill be done with my food, 3rd they should know ppl post about their experience. EVERYONE is now a food critic as we have Yelp, Google, surveys, and other ways for EVERYONE else to know from all kinds of ppl, not JUST 1 person or just a few critics.

The food was horrible and cold.we ordered a drink and there was no alcohol. Ordered a double and was told that because we ordered two doubles we had to leave. Never in my life have I been told that they had a policy that you could not have more than two drinks. This place sucks. No alcohol in the drinks and food as well as service sucks

This place has potential, we got here at 10:40 pm and knowing that they close at midnight we still decided to take the risk of having a bad experience. We ordered buffalo lemon pepper and the wings were extremely dry, there was no sauce on them and them taste old. We will not come back this late to this location. Definitely tasted like leftovers. The waffle fries were Cold and did not tasted good. I do not recommend this place. Maybe for lunch might be good, however not for dinner.

Multiple reviews states wait times are extremely long. We came here at 6:15 pm on a weekday and managed to get a table right away before it got super busy. The hostess was very nice and seated us in a matter of minutes. We ordered the Frachos, the Lemon Parmesan Jumbo wings and the Ranch Dry Rub Jumbo wings. All were fantastic. The queso poured on the Frachos were just the right amount, but they did pile on a ton of chicken. I think next time we will ask for no chicken. The wings were also fresh. They are a big small like other reviews, but this has always been the case with Pluckers since day one. Nothing has changed. The wings came out hot, crispy, well seasoned with the meat which was delicious and not dried out. Madelyn was our server and she did a fantastic job getting our order in, refilling our drinks and frequently checking in on us.

The service was great, but the food was definitely nothing to write home about. The burgers lacked flavor, and the chickens must have been on a diet because there was hardly any meat on them. The flavor was also off. The fried cheese, however, was really good.
