I had a contractor trying to charge more than the agreed amount without approving the extra charges before the work was done. I contacted the Kemmy law firm and they reviewed my contract and helped walk my through how to handle. I ended up paying only what was contracted. Thank you Tommy Kemmy for helping me with this. I contacted Kemmy Law Firm and spoke with Thomas Kemmy about the death of my step-father at Hendrick Hospital. Though I do not agree with their decision not to take our case, I was impressed with talking to Mr. Kemmy. He was the first lawyer to actually speak with me and he explained why our case would be extremely hard to persue through the courts and that if the case failed to be proven then the cost would fall back on the family. HE took time to fully explain how Texas protects hospitals and that a drug related death is very hard to prove. Though I feel that hospital should be sued, Mr. Kemmy spoke, explained all things clearly to me and did not discourage us from speaking with another attorney----BUT he did do what noone else had, he fully expained what had to be proven for a court case in Texas. Yes, I would recommend a person speak with him if they feel they need a lawyer. It is very clear they know what they are talking about and are not afraid to speak with a person or take time to explain the court proceedings.

I was so blessed to have this family in my corner. I went to a hospital and a Doctor did a procedure on me. When he discovered that it was too much for him to fix he did it anyway and it damaged my heart. It took TEN LONG YEARS but the Kemmys never stopped fighting for me. WE WON!!!! Tom and Danny represented me in a trucking accident. It is very hard to write a review that expresses just how phenomenal they both are. Some words that come to mind are: extraordinary, fantastic, outstanding, remarkable, miraculous, substantial, wonderful, rare, and most important of all caring. These guys put their whole heart into our case. When Tom first returned my phone call, he told me that he had no intention of taking on my case because it seemed like we just rear ended the back of a semi truck. After giving me a chance to explain what really happened, he wanted to help me 100%. That is exactly what Tom and Danny did. From beginning to end, they never stopped trying to prove our innocence. to start out i would like to say that this opinion is based on our families experience with Kemmy law firm. though i cannot speak for everyone in my family. to say the least i was happy with the services we received. the legal system isnt always fair and thats why you need an attorney on your side. would i recommend this firm as a first choice. i will say yes. there were particular issues within our case that could have been better discussed and we had 50/50 mix emotions. dealing with attorneys you will have to ask as many questions possible so you can get as many of these questions answered. my personal impression dealing for the first time in a suit...i would like to have been contacted more whether the communication been by mail. email. or phone i guess once every 4 months. just a little more. i understand that ANY and EVERY firm is busy with hundreds of clients. we as a family felt a bit in the dark about the progress and process of the case. difficult as it may be PATIENCE is key. and we as a family agreed that our emotions were getting lost during the suit. so be prepared. anyone looking for an attorney Thomas Kemmy is a must see for your legal choice of representation. your decision to hire him will be up to you. the more you engage during the searching for an attorney to represent your needs, you will have to treat it like an interview. lastly I have to say thank you Tom Kemmy and the staff at the Maloney building for all your help and time during our families needs.
