Aimee was an amazing bartender. I asked her what type of food she would recommend. And she recommended me fried zucchini for appetizer, hibachi shrimp for my course, and dessert a fried cheese cake egg roll. I said let s do it. And everything came out phenomenal! And the drink I recommend to everyone who goes in is to order her blueberry coconut mojito. Let me tell you; it s gently sweet and refreshing!! 10/10 will come again just for the amazing personality alone.

Order fried sushi rolls got lightly fried uncooked sushi. Cucumber salad had two lil shrimp in it . Order dinner for two. When food was separated it was mostly veggie s and rice and very little of the meats. Seems prices are to high such little meat.

We love the food and the experience of eating at Osaka in Midland. We are very upset that they decided to go with Kendal Jackson only. There is no longer a house wine that is less expensive. This has added another $20 to our tab. We were going there frequently and now pass frequently. We just feel they are being rude to very good customers.

We ve been to Osaka multiple times and always had a great experience. The hibachi is great, however this time we decided to try the sushi, and unfortunately we didin t have a great experience. Presentation is not something I care about too deeply, just as long as a meal looks decent I m satisfied. However, this presentation really didn t look great. The sushi was lukewarm, and falling apart. I d suggest checking fridges at the sushi bar to make sure the fish is stored at the right temperature. The other sushi roll we finished we just ate to not let it go to waste since the roll has cream cheese and even that cream cheese what room temperature. The tempura rolls we got as appetizers were not good also, they were very greasy. If you go to Osaka please keep it Hibachi and no more. Hopefully we don t get food poisoning from the warm fish. But I ll update yall in a couple of days! Our waitress was still kind and the manager worked to take the dish off the tab. As we only touched two pieces of it and send it back.

Was looking forward to trying this place out. The only menu available was QR code, I dont use these due to security concerns. The waitress said she had a tablet with the menu on it. She brought the tablet and I touched it and the battery died. We were then at an impasse with the waitress and I looking at eachother and now way to order food. I said well, I guess Ill go somewhere else, and she said are you sure? I said do you have a way to order food, she replied, just the QR code. So Ill left. Lol. Very crazy to me that businesses let customers walk away when they can just print a menu for pennies.

The service is abysmal, which is wild considering they didn t have any customers. We sat at the hibachi grill, and two plates were sticky. The chef burned the scrambled eggs so bad that it made the entire batch of rice taste burnt. Like, the eggs were blackened in some spots. The veggies were okay, the only edible thing really. The steaks were overcooked, the chicken was overcooked, and the salads were mediocre at best. To top off the dining experience, our plates were splashed with dirty grill water after I took a few bites, ruining the plate of food.

The sake tasted watered down and sour as if it had been sitting in the heating box for days, the wait time for a non-hibachi table was long, like an hour and a half on a Monday night, and the hosts didnt listen when sitting and tried to have us sit at a hibachi when our time came then realizing finally it was a side table we wanted the wait time was an extra 20 minutes. The waitress seemed okay. The fried wontons tasted like crap. Like how do you mess that up? The sushi was poor, some ingredients tasted less than fresh. The waitstaff was fine nothing wrong on their end.

First off, the place looks amazing! The food portions needs some serious help. For the price thats charged, you get 4oz of meat.... The fried rice was ruined with the addition of ginger sauce without even asking, and you have to pay EXTRA for fried rice. The steak was extremely salty, to the point it was almost inedible. The scallops came out in chunks... Im guessing to cut down on portion size, but to make you feel like youre getting a good amount. Bottom line, this place is a joke. The absolute worst hibachi Ive ever been to. If you think this review is wrong, and you enjoy this place, youve apparently never been to an actual good hibachi.

This was the worst service in life. May waiter brought food without plates,flatware. He dropped off food and left. Then I asked the three waitress standing around to bring plates and hot sausage, nothing. I spoke to them in English and Spanish. A complete nightmare. The only person that helped was a black guy at the sushi station who walked over and ask us if he could help. He left working and walked past the same people I asked for help to help us. This was my second time here. The first time I came the place was disgustingly dirty with same service. This time the place wasn t as disgusting. Never going back and the health dept. needs to show up. Who ever owns this restaurant you need to spend some time in your restaurant because it s the worst. I m going to midland in the future. Had a bit of wait when we came in, for the Hibachi Grill. But we were from out of town & didnt know where else to go, so we waited. I took my wife here for our anniversary. It was our first time at Osaka. The staff were ok. I was indecisive on what to order so I asked the waitress for her recommendation. Her response was that it depends on what I wanted. Thanks. The other people sitting with us were more helpful than the staff. The cook was entertaining and engaging at first. Towards the middle and the end he didnt really do any tricks. The waitress kept squeezing between me to refill drinks and give me my check. I ended up getting the shrimp and steak with fried rice. Osaka was a Kool experience. I know its on the Upper class side of town, so its not cheap. I was prepared though . Now the service was really good, wait staff was attentive and brought me a Japanese beer really quick, it was good ! I ordered the three meat stir fry with the fish. Everything was fresh, rice was good, definitely not the best stir fry rice but good overall. The steak was like a 7, I has all the meat chicken shrimp etc I did enjoy the show and the meal. A little high on price yea I expected that but I think its higher then it should be. It was a good experience for maybe like once a year. Id definitely go back on occasionally. Id definitely suggest for a special event or a nice date night!

The customer service is perfect, the chefs are professional and fun. Basically, they cook the food in front of you, do some pranks and tricks. The place is a family restaurant, my son loves this place, thanks to Osaka. I forgot that the food is delicious

First, it was Mothers Day, so I expected sliw wait times. However, delivering food WITHOUT silverware is unacceptable. Soup arrived after entree. Didnt get a spoon either. By the time the to go flatware arrived (they ran out of forks), food was cold. To top it off, I ordered shrimp and scallops which Ive had sevtimes before and every time nice fresh and flavorful. Scallops were horrible. I took one bite and didnt trust the rest of the meal so sent it back and left. Management was no where to be found Staff was overwhelmed very bad experience. Thanks for the unfortunate response. I did not use a food delivery service, I was IN the restaurant.
