Todays family evening was unpleasant, starting with the atmosphere, there was a bad smell as if the place had been closed for years, then the music was very loud and it was a huge racket. Well, for the food, we ordered Uruguayan steak and it was horrible, the steaks were very small, you could really tell they were steaks reheated from several days ago and the ham and cheese didnt look or feel bad, the tamales were raw and the girl who served us said they were with pork rinds, poor thing, it seems she doesnt know how to differentiate between pork rinds and empellas... They themselves charge the tip, its disrespectful. I dont recommend this place and we wont visit it again... I hope they improve so we can return someday. My mom left almost all the food, the photo Im going to upload was what she left because of how bad it was

First time here. Ordered two ham and cheese empanadas as appetizers. They were basically full of air. Barely any cheese or ham. Asked for ketchup. As a restaurant I was expecting a bottle. I got two packets, might as well go to McDonald s. For the meal, I ordered rice with steak. Rice was cold and hard. No flavor. Steak was also cold and very dry. I was really hoping for good Spanish food. Disappointing. The place is nice and cozy and the music was pleasant.

The place on the outside is somewhat strange, on the inside it is very good. The food is delicious. Pretty bad price-quantity ratio. Two cans of diet coke, two beers, a Cuban sandwich (quite expensive for what it is) and an appetizer mix. $54 in total. For this price I have eaten much better in other places in Odessa.

Im going to edit my comment, because it has improved in quantity, previously I had gone to la cubanita and everything was terrible, but this time I went with my husbands family and everything was perfect, the atmosphere, the food, the service and the cleanliness, I was satisfied and very happy with the improvement of the place. The girl who served me was very attentive. The only detail was the prepared drink, the guava smoothie without sugar, and the prepared alcoholic drinks were not very good. I imagine the girl is new, but everything had solution. I highly recommend it, dont wait to go

When you arrive at the restaurant, no one welcomes you, the music is so unpleasantly loud that you cant hear the person next to you, after a while after you were seated the waitress came and when I asked for something as an appetizer, they didnt have croquettes, ladybugs, etc., almost nothing. La Cubanita is such a nice place, the deco is super tropical, artist, portrais, and art from Cuba are by all over the room. The place looks super clean and smells good. Everything is so atractive My favorite was the plates walk. however I cant say the same for the food We accompanied our food with rice and bean (Moro) and yuca, however it was so unflavored, so palid that we could not enjoyed. My pork was a little dry, and hart to chew, my husband meat was delicious, super tasty. They have variety of coktails and beers. The server is super friendly and nice. She was recomending her food. Is not easy to find Cuban food in Midland, however we found this spot, but I think they need to add a little bit of salt and spicies in their food, dont be shy guys! The music was super good but a little bit loud, maybe because of the bar People have the opportunity to play billar , they have a table inside there, also get some drinks in the bar They have take out orders too

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE. Let me first say that I was looking forward to enjoying a Cuban Sandwich....I have NEVER BEEN SOOOO DISAPPOINTED...It took forever to get our order (39 minutes)...The food was tasteless...the Cuban Sandwich was so thin, hardly any pork shoulder, (tasteless), Ham, no cheese and just a waste of time. I dont know what that was but it wasnt a Cuban Sandwich. I should have known that it was going to be bad considering there was NO other customers in the place except for us. I paid $62 for 2 Sandwiches, was maybe a half of a sandwich because a half a piece of hoagie roll was cut in half , a beer, a margarita (very bitter) and 4 toastones not cut correctly or cooked correctly, just cut hunk pieces burned and tasteless. NEVER.....NEVER......NEVER again...If I could give ZERO STARS for the FOOD I would. NO WONDER IT WAS EMPTY IT WAS HORRIBLE and OVER PRICED

The dishes with few portions, when the bill arrived there were price differences with the menu of almost 2 dollars for each order. A Coca Cola for 5 dollars and in the letter it said 3.50 Look closely at the bill if you want to go to this place, the very friendly waitress gave an explanation that she couldnt do anything because the owner of the place is the one who has those prices in the system so I had to charge for it, each dish with the size of a French restaurant the rice all in small quantities and charged separately at exaggerated prices. On top of that, they charge you 5 per service, so I suppose its for the table, the flavorless meat. The salad, 2 wheels of cucumber and half a spoonful of lettuce I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE PLACE IF YOUR CRAVING IS CUBAN FOOD WE ARE IN THE USA Where the food abounds at low prices so that they bring the Cuban system of serving little and charging a lot and adulterating prices...

In reality the food was not the best it had no flavor. The portion for the price was not adequate. The Cuban sandwiches are supposed to come with white Swiss cheese not my American yellow cheese. Congrí rice itself is made with medium grain rice, they made it under long grain and without flavor. The fried chicken was unpleasant, the chicken tasted old like it had been frozen for too long, it didnt taste fresh. The old clothes lacked flavor as if the cook did not know Cuban food.

I visited the place a few days ago, we were 4 people and none of us liked the food, the shrimp with garlic was more garlic than shrimp without talking about the lack of flavor, the rice looks like Creole rice from Cuba, a glob, the old clothes without salt, the stew It was a pasta, the waitress told us that it had been overcooked that day but if that happens they shouldnt sell it or so I think, the tamales are terrible. They didnt have lemon for the beers. The only thing I could eat that was delicious were the stuffed tostones. The food here is definitely worth a try. I enjoyed it and thought it was tasty although a bit on the pricey side. The service was great and the atmosphere was welcoming. They have a pool table and the restaurant was nice and clean. Honestly the only thing I did not like was the music volume. The choice of music was great but when I say that the music was loud, I am not exaggerating when I say that I could barely here my own thoughts. It was hard to order, couldnt really hear the waitress and with my child having sensory issues, it was difficult to stay very long. I will definitely go again but Ill probably order to go instead.

Thanks to the young woman who helped us, it was the only good thing about the place. With great sadness my people, but I must tell you that the food was tasteless, I went with 2 other people and none of us liked it, the congris was dry, the tamale tasted like medicine, the cassava was terrible, the fried fish was very well presented but raw in the center and the worst thing is that the menu prices are different from the real ones, everything is 2 or 3 dollars higher, a lack of respect, a violation, this is not Cuba, be careful with that. I think you can do better, Cubans are intelligent, enterprising, hard-working, I understand that prices have risen but why the laziness of not changing the menu. Why does the place look old and the furniture damaged, if a simple repair can give it another image? Why not look for a person who better masters the art of cooking? Its was just ok. Not much flavor, and the meat was dry( Asado). Others in my party said the flavor just wasnt there. I love Cuban food, but this was $82 for a non enjoyable meal for 3 people. This did include an appetizer. Wish I could have given a great review

This restaurant had improved but several things have already happened to me. I am not one to write negative comments but it is already too much, the other day the Uruguayan steak that was served to my wife was burnt, then I bought several things and the pork rinds apart from a few, small and hard ones were stale, today I buy pizza, and they are so small that they look like the personal pizzas from Cuba from before 5 pesos, last week they were big and today they were reduced but quite a lot, they have to continue improving to avoid this and not go backwards like communism

It could be much better if it werent for that strong and unpleasant smell of oil and fried food throughout the Restaurant you leave lunch or dinner straight to the shower . The attention from the waitresses and food is very good!!!!

Great service..i had a ham and cheese cuban pizza..very good..definitely recommend this place 150% and i am from florida.. Good service..I ate the ham and cheese pizza..very good..I definitely recommend the Cubanita and I will return soon.. And Im from Florida but this place can give 3 legs to several places in Miami...come, you wont regret it

I brought a party of 4 on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered empanadas and meals, waited 45 minutes to receive our drinks and empanadas, and was informed over an hour after ordering that the kitchen ran out of bread for our sandwiches. There appeared to be only one person cooking and one person serving. Its a shame; the food here is always excellent, but I cant bring my friends and family here if they wont be fed in anything resembling a timely fashion.
