The best place to relax, enjoy the local sunshine and take a good dip. Maybe a little expensive; but.... its worth it if you take into account that you can bring your cooler and your own food and drinks. Plus free parking.

This place is such a local gem. In my opinion its one of the best water parks Ive been too. Even on busy days it doesnt feel overcrowded and the lines arent terribly long. There is lots to do for all age groups and a variety of options - slides, innertube slides, lazy river, wave pool, water jungle gym, area for toddlers and babies, and plenty of tables and seating areas. I recommend getting there early for preferred seating though. Food is delicious for park food and reasonably priced (note: Id advise not to keep condiments in the sun though). You can bring in food and drinks, which is awesome, make sure to read the website so you comply with their rules to bring in food. The park is clean, lockers and restrooms available, plenty of life guards and staff around the park. Parking is free. Definitely a fun day for the family!! I recommend buying tickets in advance, you save a few dollars and time at entry. Something for the park to consider - discounted tickets for neighboring cities (i.e. Hurst), would be awesome!

Great experience! The Viper was down but the other rides were fun. The lazy river was so nice to just float around and relax knowing that you had people watching for your safety. Kids playing, families laughing. It was great. Get there early to get a spot for some shady chairs lol

Edit- We have now been 4 times. Every time we have a problem with a life guard not helping my girls. Isnt that their job? I have to play life guard. Great place for all ages. We have been twice and stay 11am-4 each time. My only complaints is I think where the black slide and blue one. There needs to be a mister or something while waiting in line. Not a huge deal. There is one life guard I cant stand.(female) She would not help my 7yr old out of the water(black slide). I started going in the water to help my girl and the life guard said , You cant go in there. I said, ok, she(my 7yr old) needs help. The life guard just stood there and didnt help my girl. So I went in and got her myself. 2nd time down she was there again and was telling me(age 42) how to get out like I was stupid. 5 stars for the park.

The ticket to enter is expensive, almost like Six Flags. The park is not big, I would say it is rather small. The water is salty in all the slides and pools so you cannot open your mouth in the water. I think I will not return. Food its ok by the way.

My teen son and I were invited by a friend who is a seasonpass holder. It was not crowded on the day we went. At exit of some of the slides, the water seemed dirty. But it is an outdoor water park so it s a little expected. Park review: Water slides, pool, lazy river were good. Water was not cool enough on a hot day though. Lockers rentals are $12 a day for small locker, $20 for long large locker. Food Concession review: Brought our own sandwiches, so can t comment on their food. But had to use their water and ice. Not sure if their ice or water is clean. I had no idea that they didn t allow water bottles from home. We use insulated water bottles and I have clean RO water at home that I refill at Whole Foods, which I filled up before coming. I am eco conscious and hate using plastic bottles that end up in landfills. Hence not to mention that all these plastic we re using ends up in our water and in our bodies causing cancer. Anyway, they had me empty out my clean water before entering the park. So word of advice, don t bring insulated water bottles. Only Clear plastic water bottles are ok. They do allow coolers with ice. So we were able to bring that in. I mean if they were concerned about alcohol, they can always smell it. Note: We did not have this issue going to Epic water park. They allowed us in with our water bottles. Overall, it was ok. Again, I went for free as a guest with a season pass holder. But if I had to pay money to get in and dump out 4 water bottles, pay $12 for a locker then I think I would go elsewhere.

Less than 10 minutes before the party was to start they called and said there were not opening for two more hours due to storm damage. I had people en route from far distances with no party and no notice. Why they could not have contacted me sooner I don t know. Will never book with them again. Completely unacceptable.

They closed the park due to lightning on the area. I understand the 5 mile lighting rule but I personally wasn t able to verify via radar. Watch radar for two hours as showers and storms went around us. Then once it finally was starting to clear up they closed the park. We got rain checks but we drove 2,5 hours to get there. Food was horrible $7.25 for nachos that were terrible. Bottom line, if there s a cloud in the sky avoid NRH20

Bees were every where. My children couldnt even relax by the chairs because of the Bees. It was so bad, to the point they were in our stuff. I think precautions could have been made to make sure customers are comfortable and annoyed and worried by the Bees. Especially those with allergies. Im not saying kill them but there safe natural things that can be done to get rid of them.

(Edited to add that we rented a beachside bungalow this time and it was incredible! Comfortably fit 18 people. Included a fridge and a safe. Space for toddler to nap. Includes free fountain drinks all day and an employee comes by to wait on you. They did a drone show too, which was super cool.) Great family water park. Something for all ages and levels of activity. Plenty of shade and seating. Love that you can bring a cooler. Shower as soon as you get out of the water though, because they chlorinate the heck out of that water and we were all itchy for days afterward.

We got a cabana rented over a month ago. This is probably the best outdoor water park in DFW. I love all the green space. Most water parks arent about the people just about the rides. This park equals both. Logan who helped us with the cabana was awesome. We did have a wait with some slides but not for long. Food was good when most parks the food is trash. Well definitely be back.

8/3/24 NRH2O Family Waterpark today was a complete bust. A waste of $113 As we re purchasing tickets you should have let everyone know that over half of the water park is closed for various reasons. 25% was closed due to the rain last night I can t blame you guys for that. 100% of the younger kid attractions, wave pool, and lazy river were closed due to your chemical balancer going out and the chemicals taking time to fix. Only 3 slides in total were open which just made lines awful for kids and adults waiting in this heat. Your only pool WAS open until someone found a dead rat floating in while we were all in it. Then that became closed down as well. As some things began to open up, it was almost impossible to use due to the large crowds of people trying to cool off.

I have not been back to NRH20 in 10 years. My overall impressions were that it was a but run down and needed somewhat of a face-lift. The steps to the slides looked old and ran down. On one of the slides, it felt like your feet were going to be burned alive. This would be an easy fix. I ordered food for my sons, and it took approx 30 minutes to get chicken fingers and fries. Overall, we still had a good time, but I dont see myself going back anytime soon.

We went on a Friday and had a great time. The little kid areas are perfect for all ages, although the water in that section was so much colder then all the other areas. The endless river is a little short but we still went in it numerous times. There was a ride down, they should have let people know. We stood in the line for over 30 minutes, more people lining up and not one employee said anything. That was a little frustrating but overall we had a great time, especially the kids. We will definitely go again!

I m giving it four stars because we attended a party and had to stand in the group line on the side of the building because they could not give the tickets out for the kids at the general admission, nor could they do the adult discount there. This added an additional 25 mins! We arrived five mins before the party time but were late getting into the party. This was a waste of time. General admission should be able to handle the discount for adults or extra people. In addition, the building you must wait in needs to be updated and made bigger. It was stuffy. People were nearly on top of each other. The door getting into the building could easily knock someone out if they weren t paying attention. The actual water park was great! Doing a party here would be a wonderful option but I don t know if putting family members of the kids invited is worth that trouble. Maybe offering a discount code for the family members to use to buy the tickets in advance would help. It could be a one time use and expire the day after the party. In addition, tickets for the kids needs to be at a will call window or general admission window and not a responsibility of the parent of the birthday kid to constantly run to the front to pass out. Nor should they be kept in the group sales office, as that was an atrocious experience.

We went on a Wednesday and it wasn t too busy at all. We arrived when the park opened and were able to find a covered spot fairly easily. There were a lot of people that brought chairs to sit underneath trees in the lawn areas. There were two or three different spots that served food (each spot serving different types of food) with snacks averaging $6 and meals about $10-12. Bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of lockers. The lockers work use kiosks that accept electronic payments. The rides are thrilling enough for older kids but not too scary as some other places, which we really enjoyed because we felt comfortable letting the kids ride them. Lazy River and wave pool were our favorite with plenty of floaters. Great sections for small kids and younger kids. Plenty of life guards and staff and everyone seemed helpful and friendly. Definitely one of, if not my favorite water park.

Fun slides. But it was a smaller park than expected. There was a line, but only people who were buying tickets there. So buying in advance is better. When we entered, most tables were taken, and we had to make our own makeshift spot on the grass where other people were also making theirs. So make sure to bring foldable chairs and big towels. It was also packed, and the lazy river was crowded. Restrooms are okay, but as you expect, some stalls are gonna be messier than others.

Great small waterpark for families. Bungalow area was great and attendants were on top of guest needs. The only and biggest issue was the lifeguards! They were not doing effective/attentive scanning of the pool areas. Bobbing your head back n forth without actually properly scanning guests for safe swimming isn t effective. They were not in control of their areas and were lackadaisical when it came to enforcing pool rules. Not enough manning for water playground and kids trampling over others on slides. Very disappointed with lifeguards.

Negative: I wasnt aware but I had to use cash for lockers and the lockers dont dispense change. I could have used that $6 I lost to the locker to help pay for food. With as much as the food costs, it would be nice to have some shade as you wait in line for it (burgers). Also - the combo doesnt include a drink. Make sure you get no ice in your drink. They fill the cup up with the tiny ice so that you get mostly ice and very little drink. The stairs for some of the rides are extremely hot, but you cant take flip flops on the slides.

Way over priced. Not having a lot to offer. I could have saved money and went to Hurricane Harbor with more rides,Slides and food options. Hurricane Harbor $25 NR H20 $33.99 it s a no brainer!

Park was not crowded on a Wednesday. Much more family friendly than most other water parks in DFW in design

Overpriced for whats offered but not a horrible place to visit. If your not a NRH resident, I recommend you buy the tickets online as its $10 cheaper than buying the tickets in person (ticket comes out to $30). They will make you spill out your drinks before entering. Overall a pretty okay place but a bit expensive for me.

On the weekend it gets super busy for both rides and food. They do not have enough tubes for lazy river or wavy pool

Some rides were not working, the lazy river looked unattended, there were not enough tubes to use, the mushroom water fountains were not working and the bathrooms were dirty and moldy.

Im sadly of how awful my experience was in the entrance it s sad to say that me and my family were part of The racism by this so called supervisor her name is Alisa she was very rude and had my whole family wait for over 30 minutes while everyone was coming in her excuse was that we didn t have a season pass to go in earlier into the park but total lies because I asked like 3 families if they had seasonal passes to go in early and the 3 of them said no they had regular admission tickets and they let them in but not us and I told her how come a lot of people that have regular admission tickets can go in but not us her literally responds was so rude saying what you want me to do go track them down and kick them out which I replied its not necessary I just want my family and I to have the same respect then she just proceeded to ignore me the whole time I ask her to get her manager which by the way she never did until I asked another worker which she did just that get her manager and the manager was so polite and nice and said sorry for the inconvenience and let me and my family in . But this so called supervisor ALISA is really rude and should not be a supervisor at all she is not professional at all . !
