My favorite go-to hibachi grill restaurant! Theyve got it all from great sushi, entertaining chefs and overall good atmosphere whether it be for a date night, birthday or if youre just really hungry and craving a little bit of everything Ive come here quite a few times before but after the last hibachi experience with Jorden, I had to recognize just how great this restaurant really is after he made my nieces 9th birthday experience extra delightful, even if it was only four of us at the grill. He went above and beyond! And even though there are more sushi restaurants and hibachi grills conveniently located near me, Ill continue to drive out of my way to come to this specific Sushi Axiom for great food, good vibes and an enjoyable experience!

I have always loved the food here, service is OK if you get a good server. BUT yesterday we came in and were seated in the big booth section which is my favorite area. We were attacked by tons of gnats, in our food our face and they were bitting our legs. I expressed my anger and dislike of what was happening to the server and he was apologetic about the situation. He said he would talk to the manager but the manager never came to see us. We left quickly because it was horrible, I was trying to swat them away with my napkin. We go to other restaurants in the area and dont experience this problem. Theres lots of traps you can put out there, look up ZEVO! They could have at least offered a discount on our meal to make this horrible situation better but like I said manager didnt see us so he or she didnt care. Not happy at all.

My wife might have beaten me to it but we had a bad experience due to the fact that they didn t wanna just add egg to a chicken fried rice we ordered.. they went back and forth with the same plates and ended up bring it back to the table the same way it left only colder because they kept it with them until they figured out what to do. It was just a chicken fried rice like if it cost them too much to serve a new one!

I give it a star because I went to eat Butterfly Roll which costs 16 dollars and the first time they gave me 8 large rolls with enough salad and this last time only 6 small rolls with little salad it doesnt seem fair to me that it is one of the most expensive and it lower the quality very good service but you cant lower the quality of the food

If you enjoyed your experience at the Sushi Axiom in Dallas, you will NOT get the same experience here. The beer tasted flat, they dont serve happy ending rolls and they dont do happy hour here. We didnt even came in rush hour, most seats are empty, but the service is still fairly slow. The quality of the sushi wasnt consistent. Some of them are cut very unevenly that the pieces on the same plate dont even have the same height. A lot of them arent sealed well and are easy to fall apart. The service lady was nice, and the taste of the sushi was pretty okay. You can get crawfish sushi even crawfish is out of season in most restaurants. But still, personally I will not come again.

False advertisement on their closing time which is actually 930 not 10 o clock. I called two to let them know of that. They were very rude about it. I was very nice and just saying hey look I was just hoping that maybe I could drive and go. Very the management was very dry and rude about the whole thing and hung up on me. I was just trying to be nice. So if they re gonna be like that about something so simple, I wouldn t eat there.

The hostess was nice and friendly I sat at the bar. The bartenders were friendly. The chicken yakisoba was mid. It has very large chunks of green onions and the chicken was an odd pale color. I wouldnt recommend getting it. I enjoyed the rainbow roll it was okay. I spent $15 on 2 whiskey sours. Overall the atmosphere was okay if I came back it would just be for the sushi.

Have been here a few times now and each time has been a pleasant experience. The sushi is fresh and rated a 10/10 as far as freshness, no smell, thickness of cuts and consistency. Im not a sushi lover, but they have Nemo-friendly items on their menu. Ive now had chicken and steak over my last couple visits... the chicken was dry and hard to get down. This most recent time I had the ribeye... I had asked if I could order from the hibachi grill and they told me no. So next best thing was the ribeye, which was the most expensive cut I could find on the menu. The meat was cooked to order (rare) but, the cut was pretty tough and hard to chew. I opted for the fried rice...now, that fried rice was EMBARRASSING yall... it was really just white rice with enough soy sauce to color it brown... not an egg, pea or carrot were hurt in the process of that fried rice. They did serve a heaping portion of sautéed mushrooms, onions and artichokes. I wish the menu had said what it came with and gave you the ability to choose between a few sides. Our server seemed to be on the newer side, she was sweet. We had a couple questions of clarification for the menu in regards to size/portion/pieces... she didnt know the answers and that was a little frustrating. The manager had brought us our appetizers and she was great, a wealth of knowledge and answered all of our questions quickly and efficiently. I hope they finish up the construction soon because Im sure thats impacting their business. This place is a great sushi option and my family absolutely would go back.

Amazing sushi rolls, appetizers and entrees!!! My boyfriend and I got the temptation roll and the tcu roll, both were so delicious/huge! Also ordered the spicy Chicken pad Thai and the grilled salmon fillet with sautéed mushrooms/onions, which came with a side of fried or steamed rice. The Pad Thai had perfectly grilled chicken and the grilled salmon tasted sooo fresh! We also got two appetizers, the jalapeño poppers and the gyoza(fried) and those were both perfectly fried! 10/10 place with 10/10 customer service. Will 100% be back to try more!!! Only took a photo of one cause we were too busy eating lol.

Went here for a celebration lunch with my family. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, and our hibachi chef was amusing and thorough in our meal prep. He ensured that one member of our group was not exposed to gluten as she has a severe reaction to it. Great experience today. I got teriyaki chicken, with steamed rice, grilled veggies, and miso soup. I also got a California roll on the side. The entire experience was great for all of us.

The food is ok, just like your regular stir fried rice hibachi at an Asian Chinese Buffet. Just a few more shenanigans of burning flames on grilled onions and thats it. Food overpriced! If you can pay $35 for fried rice and a couple 6 ounce beef & chicken portions, this is for you! Not forgetting you have to share the table with at least 4 other strangers, staring at everyone, counting your every bite and swallow and making faces!! The wait time from being seated to eating is horrible averaging 40 minutes!! By the way, the martinis costs $12 for a tiny glass with very diluted liquor and a Japanese looking chubby server (female) full of attitude. I tipped the chef! He deserved it.

Good food, but a bit on the pricier side for what you get. I still revisit it a lot, although its hard to blanket recommend for this reason.

Food was good, service was good, atmosphere was good. I gauge sushi by the Philadelphia roll and theirs was one of the best, in my opinion. Still, I was put off that they added a 20% tip to the bill. Make sure to watch out for that. There were 6 of us, but 3 separate bills. It was my first time there, so I dont know if this is standard practice or not but Im not a fan of forced tipping

It was nice except for the management. We were seated and waited a while for them to decide who was going to serve us. The waitress we ended up having was really nice. Wouldve given 5 stars if it wasnt for this management issue. I Wouldve been transparent and got us waters at least and informed us that someone will be there to help us instead of seat us and ignore us until they figure it our.
