Lovely studio, kept clean and with enough variation in wall space for many backdrops. Gwen Martindale was my photographer; she did an excellent job of making sure I was relaxed and my pictures came out wonderful!

First off, I have shot at the Lumen Room MANY TIMES and I love the Dallas locations much better because they are more spacious and have much better natural lighting. I do not enjoy the Fort Worth locations as much because they are smaller and the windows have bars on them so when they are photographed it looks a bit dingy. The Fort Worth locations are better suited for portraits or individual people versus big groups or multiple people.

I loved the studio, loved the furniture, and the location was nice. BUT .. it was SO unbelievably HOT!!! I honestly think the AC unit was broken. I specifically paid to have a photo shoot indoors cause hello, TEXAS is WAY TOO HOTT & humid! We were all drenched in sweat! My makeup and hair were completely ruined. I pray you can t see the sweat dripping from my face in our photos! We were so happy to be done and get out of there that we did our last pictures OUTSIDE in the shade, at least there was some wind! I m highly disappointed and until y all get the AC fixed 100% I would never pay to go back!

Had a great time. Booking was easy, and the space was clean and ready to go when we got there. Some couch and chair options as well as four different background colors. Three different wall textures: brick, smooth wall, and shiplap. Lots of light in the back area, just depends on time of day.

Okay great room, everything was treated very nice. Was a early morning spot, great lighting. Took a wile for the ac to kick in, but after that it was awesome. The lady who set it all up with us handled our situation really professional. Thank you.

The Fort Worth location is great! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The space was clean and well taken care of. We did a photoshoot here on an overcast day and we had incredible lighting the whole time. The furniture pieces are stunning and the backdrops are a plus! The size of the studio is perfect. It has a sink and a bathroom for guests to use. I will definitely shoot here again.

Great option for white background natural light studio portraits! Owners remotely unlock the studio for rental time. You can arrive 15 minutes early for set up. Studio was very neat and clean. Modern furniture options available to use that are on furniture sliders for fast and easy use. Small white desk/white chair, 2 couches, full length mirror (great for clients to use), brown leather chair, natural wood bench, cow hide rug, posing stool, and wood floors. $75 per hour studio rental. Bring an extension cord if you plan to use your own lights. Plugs along one side of the studio. Some useful items provided that you may use: ladder, light stand, reflector, tripod, rolling black chalkboard/green chalkboard/ silver background. Bathroom available for clients to change outfits. WiFi available for use. Kitchen/faucet sink size on location that would be useful with newborn portraits. Fast response time by owner. Recommend bringing a light meter for quickly measuring light. Images from session are straight from camera taken about hour half before sunset times. Highly recommend. Already booked 2 more sessions this month at this location because I liked it so much! I think morning appointments would be best for optimal soft lighting. There are 2 windows to use for lighting. I did use external continuous ring light to soften/fill shadows. North facing window is a bit challenging for full body shots due to electrical on wall.
