This is hands-down my favorite small community park in the area-there is so much to take in here. I love the chill vibes and the friendly people. I always feel so relaxed and refreshed each time I leave. There is a modern playground with a variety of slides and swings, a gazebo with a grill, and several picnic tables. The small pond here is great for leisurely walks and is relatively close to the Cottonbelt Trail (one of our favorites). There is also a beautiful veterans memorial site and quotes from historical figures within the pathways. What I most enjoy is watching the wildlife that comes by. There are always many turtles here-you can often see their heads in the water-I ve seen 35 in one day! The birds are so fun to spot. They often stop here to fish for food-you can often see a great blue heron, black crowned night herons, snowy egrets, and mallard ducks. More recently, I ve seen a green heron and a black heron. It is so fun to watch the baby herons and ducklings in the spring. You may also run into some curious squirrels. I absolutely love this park. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful place to go for a walk in the area! Pictures dont really do this park justice. Very beautiful public memorial site and not overly crowded. Even with other visitors, all the activities had plenty of space between them that there was not a ton of noise. Very peaceful and well shaded. Well maintained with water fountains, benches, picnic tables and sidewalks. Includes a toddler playground and an older kid playground. People were enjoying walking their dogs, fishing, and riding their scooters. Parking lot is very small. No restrooms. Playground: 1 toddler area, 1 regular area Dog-friendliness: Sidewalk trails Picnic area: Shaded tables

Great park to go to and relax. It has a great playground area for children to enjoy. Also a lot of cool things to honor our troops throughout history and quotes from historical figures. This park has a grill, gazebo, short walking trails, etc. I regularly see individuals catching fish here as well. This is a great park to take your children. Additionally, it has one of the library book exchanges. On a nice day you can also find photographers out taking photos of wildlife attracted by the waterway. Toilets: No restrooms at this park Picnic area: Gazebo and grill.

Playground: This place is such a great relaxing place to go in a big open field next to 4 baseball fields. They just put a brand new play ground that is green. Theres also going to be some new things added in the proceeding weeks. Toilets: Only open during events

The only thing that would make this place better is to have more parking available. The space that is for parking is a very small area. This park is more family oriented. Not really for a couple looking for a romantic place to enjoy a quiet picnic or walk.

Nice little park, clean and well maintained except for a little bit of trash occasionally. My toddler gets kinda bored there though, he d rather watch the cars driving by. Usually not very busy.

Clean, well manicured, safe equipment. Ducks fly in and out and birth babies in and around the pond and reeds. Turtles poke their heads up from the pond. The walk includes famous quotes on the sidewalks; good advice and a learning environment. Vining plants bloom and smell good. Memorial to our service personnel is very well done.

Liberty Park nice to hang out under the cabana and eat at the picnic tables. The kids have a whole park to run around in. They also have a small pond to go fishing!

Have been going to this park for years, its always clean and well kept. The kids like play near the pond and on the playground. Some times I will walk the path while they play because Im still close enough to see them the whole time.

Pretty Awesome park, with a beautiful pond to fish in, a memorial site to see, and of course a playground to have. Love the fact that it leads to a biking/walking trail not too far away to exercise. My daughter loves going there very much. Go check it out!

This place always looks well kept and they added a sign for covid letting people know that the equipment isnt sanitized daily, which is useful information! There was also, of course, guidelines for social distancing and keeping safe as well. Very good addition.
