I recently restored my 1978 Volkswagen beetle and needed a stereo upgrade went to see them and they were very helpful and helped me get the right parts and installed them very quickly. the thing I respect the most was they let me know I didnt have to buy more parts I didnt need. and kept me on budget . I called them up on a Friday afternoon and asked about an install. They recommended coming to the shop on Saturday morning to discuss in detail. I arrived about 15 minutes after they opened and already had 2 others in front of me. We discussed what I wanted and I told them I was undecided on what speakers/box I wanted to go with. They asked me questions about my music tastes and made recommendations about what would probably best suit my vehicle and preferences. He even told me that (because I was undecided) that hed let me try out the speakers/box for a few days and bring back if I didnt like how they sounded. I asked about scheduling the install and they said they could install in a few hours and could start immediately if I wanted. I expressed to them that my truck had great sentimental value because it belonged to my late father. They assured me theyd take good care of it. After a few hours, they called me and advised that it was ready for pick up. I went down to the store to pick up my truck and let me say I was blown away with how incredible the system looked and sounded. They even upgraded my alternator wires to ensure I wouldnt have issues with the current draw of the system. Besides how great it sounded, I was most impressed with how nice and honest they were. I will definitely be back for more business with these guys!

Ok so, I have been using Cartoys all my life until now. I had an issue with my Alarm that I purchased from Cartoys for over $600 with a lifetime warranty. I took it back, and Cartoys told me that they no longer sell that brand, and I need to buy a completely new Alarm for another $600. Which is ridiculous. I called Car Sound Inc and spoke with a gentleman who explained what might be happening. He said, Come on down. So I took it in, and he immediately looked and said 1st this is a lifetime warranty that anyone can warranty even if they dont sell the system. 2nd this is an easy fix. It happens due to our hot summers here in Texas. He said, I got you, fixed it right on the spot, and didnt even charge me. I will never go back to Cartoys again. Car Sounds INC. Is my go-to spot from here on out. I highly recommend them to take care of any audio needs you may have. Thanks guys. Your honesty and workmanship is definitely old school, and we need more companies like this in every field of service. Keep up the good work. Ill be back for sure.

First impressions are important. When I walked in the store John was in the shop helping two Soldiers with an electrical problem in their car. No profit making, just helping two Soldiers in need on their cross country drive. As a Veteran, he had my business instantly. As for my radio shopping, this was absolutely the best experience possible. John took all the time I needed to show me the best system for my needs. No hard sell whatsoever. And their Service is second to none. Highly recommend this outfit! ***UPDATE - I just had John install some new speakers for my Sons truck as well as a Backup Camera. As expected, John and his team did amazing work for a great price! He is an Audio expert without equal. And I will say again, I have not met another business owner that treats Veterans and Service Members with more dignity and respect. John is dedicated to taking care of the men and women who defend this country. He is a Great American and I will continue to recommend his Shop as the first and only stop for all Audio needs!!

My wife and son went into Car Sounds yesterday morning to update the stereo in his 2012 Pathfinder and added a backup camera. John was welcoming and friendly and did not try to sell something that was not needed. We dropped off the car after noon and it was ready to pick up before close. John and his staff of knowledgeable technicians take pride in their work and it shows. Might just be back to update the punch in my 22 Tundra!

John is the man! I took my 68 C10 to his shop because my system just didnt sound good. I thought it needed new 6.5 speakers but John looked at my setup and realized the preouts were not hooked up correctly. He and Mark fixed my wiring and tuned my amps. This is your car audio shop. As for Mark and John. These guys are a couple of cool cats. I took my Tacoma in because the amplifier wasnt putting out sound. John saw the problem and fixed it in 2 minutes. I also asked about my Viper alarm. The subscription expired and I wanted to start it back up again. John helped me there as well. Finally, I asked Mark if he could listen to my sound system and adjust the settings, now sounds amazing. These guys are upfront, honest, good people. They have been at the same location for over 20 years. Thank you!

if I could leave 1 star I would. I had to return 5 times to get a sensor issue fixed, just for the technician to turn my bass up too high resulting in my speaker being blown and wires melted almost setting my car on fire. Versus fixing the issue free of charge, since he caused the damage, all he could say was sorry. I went to another business to get the problem fixed costing me over $400. The owner had nothing to say and always pushed work unto the technician. Customer service needs to be worked on and as the owner, he needs to know when to step in.Military person who just moved to the area and was disappointed drastically!AVOID!! Response to owner: Being that your customers are service members, you would think quality service is the bare minimum. The car was serviced free of charge because the technician wasn t qualified. That is very clear to me now. I purchased the $160 sensor from this establishment. If you or the technician in this case since he does everything felt my equipment was subpar, why work on it? You re the professional who should advise customers correct? The same way you advised that I replace the sensor. Every time I returned to this business he worked on my car maybe an hour. The only instance where it was worked on longer is when he called the manufacturer to get assistance. Do better!

I got my 2020 chevy silverado done here back in February of 2021. Gotta say since I got my system done by these guys I spend more time in my truck than I need to lol. Very down to earth and relatable guys. I got a full JL audio system installed and the price was great and the sound is incredible. I couple weeks ago I noticed one of my door speakers went out. I called up the shop John advised me to bring it on in asap. They diagnosed the problem which was a faulty blown speaker that was on backorder. The following week my new speaker came in and was installed right away free of charge. If that isnt top notch service I dont know what is! Im now back and installing JL audio in my 20221 Honda Accord. Bottom line if you are looking for affordable service with top of the line quality I encourage you pay Car sound inc a visit. You will not be disappointed!

I took my 2003 F150 Harley Davidson addition to have a radio put in and a back up camera. Their customer service was impeccable. I had an alarm that I needed help with that wasn t working properly and the entire staff went out of their way to fix the problem for me free of charge. This place is AMAZING! We bought after market radio and additional items from BestBuy and never again. BestBuy installer messed up so bad, their insurance company had to pay me over $5000 in repair to fix the problem. Yeah these guys are exactly what you re seeing here on google. Insane. A previous customer was paid out in an hour after bringing his red Chevy in for an install. He looked at me and was blown away how quick these guys were; even made a joke that it would have taken him an entire weekend to do a job they completed in an hour. John and his crew quickly attacked my wife s traverse with a flip down dvd installation. Prices were reasonable and extremely fair. Well Im from Memphis and I wanted upgrade my sounds in 2017 mustang gt from Sewell. Went to car toys in Irving first $1000 for one sub with amp. Then went to NRH location same thing but the guy went straight to the computer to give me a price that was very scary. So called Jeff at Car sounds with no BS in his tone he gave me a flat price and even when I picked up my gt the price was the same as I was quoted. Im coming back to purchase other upgrades! I went to Car Sounds to inquire about adding more bass to my 2018 Corvette Convertible with the factory Bose system. John, did an awesome job on referring me to a JL Audio amp (XD600 and loc22 with 10 tw3 slimline woofer) and I was able to keep my factory head unit. JL Audio didnt make a box for my vehicle and John made a custom box that fit perfectly in my trunk with limited amount of space. John and Jeff are awesome!!

I took my 2007 Honda Pilot to Car Sounds for a Bluetooth setup/connection so that I could listen to my music through the car stereo. They were very friendly and thoroughly explained all the various options. I left my car and picked it up an hour later. They did an outstanding job. I highly recommend Car Sounds. I took my car to them over a month ago and these guys are the best! I previously had my radio installed and messed up by 2 other car audio companies. After dealing with it for at least a month with the other guys I decided to take it here to have them check it out. They looked at my radio right away when I showed up. Even though I did not buy the parts from them, the owner still called the brand/part representative to come out to look at it for FREE!!! He did not even want to charge me! After checking everything we decided the part was not communicating to vehicle properly so we installed another part and BOOM! Problem solved! I dealt with the other guys for so long and I was very relieved that these guys took care of the problem that day! It has been over a month since I was there and my radio is working great! These guys are the best car audio guys in DFW!

These guys are great honest people. Brought my nephews car in due to issue with security system because we bought it and it did not come with alarm piece for keychain. The alarm was stuck on activated. Instead of trying to make extra money to install a new security system, they came and said honestly you don t need to get another one. I can make a key alarm real fast for about $80 less ordering one. They aren t about taking your money. They are about doing a great job and do what is best for the customer. Not their wallets!

The owner went above and beyond today to help me out. Thought the amp might be draining the battery and causing my car not to start. He took it in and looked at it and found an issue with the battery itself and fixed it up for me. This didnt even have to do with the stereo, he was just kind enough to help a girl out. They did a great job fast and have all the equipment on hand. They have more than anyone else when it comes to equipment installation harnesses and everything that goes in our modern vehicles. I had put in a backup camera on my truck. I installed the factory style one that is in the tailgate handle so I could see when I backup to my trailer and got a new stereo but with the new technology you cant install them the way we did it in the good old days so I took it to the pros. They have a nice big shop and really helpful people too. I recommend this place to anyone.

After calling Car Toys and listening to them try to upsell me and overprice everything I was frustrated and started googling reviews of different car audio places near me. I called Car Sounds because they had the best reviews. John gave me a fair price with better equipment so I had a new amp and subwoofer installed in my 4runner. At first I noticed some airnoise and sound vibrating off the inside plastic stock housing after the install so I took it back and John and his crew made it right. I plan to return and have some more work done. From now on Car Sounds will do all of my audio work- these guys really know their stuff which is hard to find nowadays. The reviews dont lie trust me.

I never negotiated their prices because I expected good service and warranty on their work. Found excuses and blame something else other than accepting their responsibility. I took my Harley to this shop because I had a weird interference sound coming from the bike sometimes when I rode it. So it took some old school troubleshooting instead of just part swapping which is very hard to find in shops these days. Went in to the shop completely ignorant of what was wrong with my radio and within 5 minutes they discovered the issue and fixed it for super cheap. They then offered to fix up my wirings because of how messy it was and again took just a few minutes and did so very cheaply. Exquisite service and I would recommend this shop to anyone no matter what part of town they are from.

Went in last Saturday looking to upgrade the audio system on a 1984 Silverado pickup. The shops owner listened to what I was looking for and came up with a solution that met all the needs without a lot of unnecessary expense. Ive been having issues with my factory radio going off and on for months I finally decided to go have it checked out. I went to a shop up the road from Car Sounds & the guy told me it was going to be $125 to even come outside to just check my car out. So I decided to stop at Car Sounds & John totally took the time out to check my fuses & radio connection without the ridiculous $125 fee he was completely helpful & didnt try to screw me over. I had a major install done here that included the purchase and installation of a NAV unit, an amp, lights, and a sub. Initially, I was nervous about having someone work on my beloved car. After speaking with John (the owner) and Jeff, I came to realize just how much experience they have and allowed me to hang out with them as they performed the install. I had spent thousands of dollars on audio equipment in my Audi S8.. I had a nagging alternator whine (small amount). I had tried numerous things and spent hours trying to eradicate it.
