I had an amazing time at trivia night with Rachel at False Idol Brewery! Rachel was a fantastic host engaging, funny, and kept the energy up all night. The questions were the perfect mix of challenging and fun, keeping everyone on their toes. The atmosphere at False Idol is always great, but trivia night with Rachel really takes it to the next level. It s the perfect way to spend an evening with friends, enjoy great beer, and put your knowledge to the test. I can t wait to come back for more! Highly recommend!

Its a straight forward brewery with good beer and fast service. The taps are good. The seats are OK. The patio has potential. Bring your own food and board games. The only complaint we had was the water from a 5 gallon jug. I mean, really? Yall use RO water for your beer, right? Why not provide something clean and flavorless for between taps rather than Fort Worth tap water.

Really nice vibe inside the brewery, it was bright and lively. The staff was very friendly and helpful with selections from their giant list of beers. We had a couple of flights before settling on a raspberry cinnamon sour which was excellent.

This is about my 3rd time stopping at false idol and the beer and staff never disappoint. They have more than just one beer style and they master them all very well. Really nice and comfy brewery with an indoor/outdoor area which is pet friendly and family friendly. Workers are always super helpful and talkative and not just their standing. The lager is by far the best tasting one I ve had in DFW so far. I really enjoyed the lime that was put on it. This spot is great when the weather is nice outside, the patio doors are fully open. I really enjoyed this spot! I ll definitely be back!

I m giving this brewery 5* because the beer was really good. I tried 8 beers (Lager, IPAs, and Stouts) and all of them were solidly above average or better. The price point is on the high side for take away, but you get what you pay for. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and vibe was good. It was a nice night so they had the doors open. But I could see it feeling a bit small when the summer hits. I ll be back for sure

False Idol is a dependable local spot that allows dogs which is important to us. Everything about it is as nice as it can be although I wish the view was nicer and, to no fault of False Idol, the parents that bring their kids. Itd be nice if they actually parented their kids instead of leaving them to their own devices.

Awesome! The place is cool. They have outdoor patio too; more than 10 different options you can taste, they also sell them in cans. You can get a sampler and choose 4. They have crayons and coloring sheets of wolves, also they have board games. The art in the wall is neat. Restrooms are clean and the music is perfect. The cashier was super friendly and she helped us out while choosing our delicious beers. We will totally go back

Decent beer. It sucks that ice is so expensive in Texas they can t have cold water. Came here twice from out of state and the government must have mandated they can t have cold water because it was really warm both times. It probably doesn t matter to people who drink 2 beers a day but for us who visit several breweries when we go out of town it is nice to have cold water.

Incredibly fresh beer. This is what I expect from a small local brewery like the one that I owned and operated. It reminds me of that. The beer was clean and built to the style specifications. Strongly recommend. I had the cloud IPA and they claimed it was a West Coast IPA but I think it was better than that. It reminded me more of a classic IPA as it was very well bittered and had a nice bittery citrus finish. Front end wasnt terribly aromatic or hoppy, but it finished extremely nice. Pilsners and loggers were well done and very fresh and rich.

I would probably give 4.5 stars if I could. I did appreciate the ample seating (both inside and outside), that the music wasnt too loud (like the brewery down the street), and the overall vibe. However, the variety in both available beers and flavors was a little lacking. To me a lot of the beers/sours had a strong undertone of vanilla. Im not a vanilla flavor person but if your palette prefers that then youll probably like the selection just fine. Also like others have said, wish there was food. Even just chips or pretzels since they have flights.

False Idol hits all the important notes of a great brewery - excellent beer(the vanilla lemon lager was outstanding), we missed the Turkish delight small batch though... hoped there would have been a darker beer available. Ive been to so many breweries all over the country and every single one of them Ive had a great experience! I love visiting new breweries but dang I was super disappointed with the service.I asked the blonde bartender for a beer and she straight up rudely said No.. I felt like I was on an episode of bar rescue, both bartenders were intoxicated and were just plain rude. I get that you work at a brewery and having a couple of beers is ok but this was a bit too much. I like name the of the brewery and I did like the beer so I think Ill be going back.

This is how a craft brewery should be. Rustic design with the tanks sitting in the lobby. The beers are spot on. One after the other was great tasting especially for the IPA enthusiast. They have got it down. The can designs are super cool and you can buy the labels separately for only 50 cents. False Idol understands the system. Loved it the beers and the place! Watch out for a couple Texas mosquitoes.

Went in for the first time this past Thursday. One of my favorite bartenders from another brewery started here so he asked us to come give him some support! What a great environment! I think this may be my new favorite spot with the doors open it felt great. You have a great bartender start Kyle. This brewery has a fun assortment of beer options. I appreciated all of the nerdy references in their beer names and decor. I spoke with a women behind the bar and apparently there are several tap numbers that are constantly on rotation with something new. They were packed when I visited, so its clearly a local favorite. It just so happened that when we visited False Idol Brewing the day after our 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, they were celebrating their 2nd Anniversary. Ive gotta say, these guys know how to throw a party!!! We parked in the lot across the street, because the usual carpark was full of vendors, a food truck, dunk tank, and more beer than they could stock at the bar area. There were beers of every kind, and many of the staff were dressed for the occasion (Youll see what I mean). I tried a couple different ones outside my comfort zone, but stuck mostly with stouts. Each had a nuanced flavor profile or ingredient that made them stand out from each other. People were playing Cornhole, beer pong, all while a mariachi band came to play. You could dunk your favorite, or least favorite employees as well. A great time was had by all. This is a group of fun loving, hard working guys, with a passion for making great beer. If youre in the area, definitely check them out. You dont have to wait for their next anniversary either. Theyve got promotions and fun activities all during the week. If youre a fan of good beer, go by and say hi.

So False Idol gets a solid five stars from me. They are a small brewery with a lot of punch. I lean to the IPA side of the spectrum and I am never disappointed. IPAs are definitely the flagship craft beer here. However, I sample across the craft beer universe and can always find something different at False Idol that isnt smeh. A lot of breweries fail at providing variety outside of what they do well and False Idol does a good job of providing a good variety without sacrificing taste or quality.

Seemed like a great hangout spot! There is a nice little patio outside, and the inside is a warehouse with several garage doors that can open for warm weather. Found this brewery tucked away between a used car sales lot and residential, so the view isn t much, and they don t serve food, so hopefully a food truck might set up? BUT, they make and serve some insanely good beer! Got a flight of; Return of the Stack, Vadilla, and My Prediction is Pain - all stouts - and Banquet Boy - a lager to even things out. When they say it tastes of coffee, cinnamon, or coconut, it s not like the wine BS try to find the flavor, it s there, and it s so damn good! Finished it off with a Fenris Park - their hefeweizen. If you closed your eyes and picked a beer at random from the list, you d still have a good experience here. They also have trivia, bingo other events after 5:00pm.

I am never happy with local breweries. They tend to get too generous with the hops, as though that is what is best. This was different. This brewery had quite a few very good beers that were different enough from each other to stand alone. Just go and enjoy a couple of flights of beers then take a few home. Oh, and bring your dog.

We stopped in for a chat mid afternoon on a Wednesday. It s an indoor-outdoor venue with picnic tables and a food truck. We had just eaten so didn t try the food. There were people but the place was in no way busy. Everyone was friendly and the beer was excellent.

Walked in, scanned the QR code which brought up wonderfully detailed descriptions and information for their entire beer selection. Our first two picks tasted amazing. Currently writing this review as Im sipping on it. Im that confident. Bartender was kind and this place is clean.

Nice little spot, not a fancy atmosphere, but staff are really friendly. Place is also dog friendly. Im not the beer drinker in my family but I like their hefeweizen. They have several IPAs, a nice hard cider, a couple of wine offerings and beer tails. If you find a beer you like they sell 4 packs. Prices are super reasonable. Wide age range of customers. Give it a try.

Great place. Should do a better job of advertising especially along HWY26. Ive lived here two years and never even knew about it. Awesome beer, cool staff and great patio. Only thing it needs is games and food trucks.

Excellent selection of beers. Everything I tried was true to style and well made. No gimmicks. The staff was very friendly and excited to offer recommendations. The taproom has a nice indoor area (I sat at the bar) and the patio area looked inviting. Id definitely visit again next time Im in the area
