The treating physician and clinic were great. My complaint and probably of many is the unethical charging/billing practices of Christus Saint Vicent Medical Center Santa Fe. I received a bill from the practice, which is owned by CSVMC, which was reasonable and expected. What was not expected was a separate bill from CSVMC that was 3 times the amount charged by the practice. This extra charge was for the convenience of being able to come to the facility to receive services by the practice. CSVMC did not provide anything other than the building for what I can see. There was no transparency that this extra charge was going to be made and especially at the charge made. For a practice visit for which I was charged around $400 the additional convenience charge by the medical center was over $1,300. Unfortunately, the specialty is not available anywhere else in Santa Fe so one has no choice. It is clearly marked in the practice that it is a department of Christus Saint Vincent Medical Center. Filed a complaint with the State Department of Justice. Hopefully the unethical practice will be investigated. More people who have been scammed by Christus Saint Vincent should file complaints.

I recently moved to SFe & had read a lot of mixed reviews about BOTH health systems available. I finally had to go with whoever was taking new patients & had an appt available in less than a MONTH! Dr Zang is new to the practice & is WONDERFUL! She REALLY listens & spent a lot of time with me on my initial visit, getting to know me & my life (not just my current aches & pains). She is more holistic than many other MDs Ive seen in past. I REALLY like her! So happy that I found her by chance!

I keep getting a bill from a person that is a criminal. I did some background checking and he has stolen my address. I did contact the hospital and they ignored me and sent my address over to collections. I have received over 20 bills that I have returned to the facilities. When I did speak with an associate, they said that they would take my name off of the mailing list. Obviously, that is a lie, as I am still receiving bills for a criminal. If they would do a simple check. To see if they have criminal activity before admitting them into the hospital that would ve solved this problem. And now still, I m continuing to get bills from the collection agency. I sent the agency out of the goodness of my heart proof that this was my address and they still continue to send me bills. I guess they expect me to pay the bill of criminal. I am not going to do that and I am about to report them to the Better Business Bureau.

Dr. Stoddard was amazing! He performed a major surgery on me and I was nervous in the beginning about it. He eased my anxiety by showing empathy, professionalism, and explaining in detail why and how the surgery will take place. The surgery was successful, with no complications, and I healed up quickly! Also, he made feel part of the family at his office and I could tell that he really cared about my well-being. I remember how it used to be before they did reconstruction and renovation. Ever since they finished staff has been very very very much better. Not rude more friendly, not annoyed by questions they try to understand you and help you with any questions or worries u have. I saw Dr. Jazmin Rodriguez as a new patient, and she treated me like she had been my doctor for my whole life. She is very thorough and she talks to you in terms you can understand. This was our first pedia visit here coz we are new immigrants here in SF. Our experience was really good. The staffs were very nice and accommodating, including the nurse and the pediatrician herself.. they made my children feel at ease despite the 4 my daughter and 2 shots for my son. Had a great experience with an awesome physician at Christus Womens Health in Santa Fe. Dr. Brown, as anyone who has lived in this city might already know, is the BEST! O.K., Ive been a Santa Fe resident on-and-off for almost 30 years, and, yes, I have memories of St. Victims to this day. But time changes things, and the care Im getting now is pretty darn good, and keeps improving. Im quite happy with my doctors, and the MyChart experience is starting to become better and better. Face it, were in Santa Fe. Its not New York or Boston, but I really believe the folks I see care about what theyre doing, and that means the world to me.

I have had several appointments here with Dr. Cumbie and his staff. Everyone was absolutely great and extremely polite. The three surgeries I have had at St. Michaels have been good experiences. The staff at the hospital have been so great from the moment of admission to the day of discharge.
