This community is absolutely gorgeous and I am proud to call it my home! I ve lived here for 3 months so far and I don t see myself moving for many, many years to come. The entire rental process was so easy and seamless! I ve been renting apartments for 2 decades and I have never encountered such a smooth and stress free experience! The community s manager is so professional, kind, and down to Earth. She truly cares for the property and the residents. The entire leasing team is professional, on point, and very knowledgeable when it comes to their property and making the leasing process a breeze. I set a tour and viewed a look and lease special on an apartment home. Of course, once I saw the interior of the home, I wanted to lease it immediately. With a few clicks online the apartment was mine! The entire process took less than 2 hours. I work very hard for my money and it s a pleasure to pay rent every month because the value and beauty for the money can t be found anywhere else in DFW as far as I m concerned. This property is located within waking distance of grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, spas, bars, and so much more! It is the definition of luxury living! Look no further if you want to live in a gorgeous, safe, and convenient neighborhood!!

This apartment complex is absolutely a God send. From the staff to our unit, our family feels so safe. We also know that our crew is well cared for. The social events are a blast, and our pool is a perfect place to relax and catch a great tan. We love our little community bubble. You can walk to the grocery store, the water park, and so many other great things. What s On Tap is within our complex and has great drinks and great live music on Friday nights. Our kiddos are within walking distance (less than two miles) from their respective schools, even to the Junior College. We absolutely love the staff, and that alone will keep us here for years to come. The staff truly makes you feel like your family. Any type of issue they are super quick to fix. We moved here specifically for the High School. We are confident we will be here for the rest of our kiddos educational career (5 more years).

CONS: Roaches More poop than pooch Lots of street racing ( scared my puppies) Electric bill averaged $200 per month (Older building with much need renovations ) Lots of areas need repairs Poor communication to residents (Maintenance arrived never prior to asking to enter) YOU WILL GET NICKELED AND DIMED ON EVERYTHING (Most deposits are non refundable so read your agreement ) A full 72 days PRIOR to move out they wanted to inspect by apartment. (The walk-thru needs to be done at move-out!) They will ask for the address to send a final bill ( why final when you are paying up front and they have your money?) They will ask you to authorize a clean fee before you move out. PROS: Move out date! I usually like to give positive reviews. But, you should keep seriously keep looking. We had a total of $1600 total deposit we are getting back a whopping $274. We physically moved out at the end of April and had our rent paid thru the end of lease term. And they knew this yet somehow my water bill was $238 FOR AN EMPTY APARTMENT. We left it spotless and yet they charged us $110 to have them reclean it. AND THEY STILL TACKED ON ADDITIONAL CLEANING CHARGES. I have photos and they have nothing to justify their claims! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM, BOGUS REVIEWS!

I lived here for 3 years - before Trish (the current managers) was here the apartment was subpar and I wasn t that pleased. Trish has made this place SO much better. Her and her team strive to solve any problem you have in a timely manner as well. The maintenance team is always fast to resolve problems as well. I love the neighborhood & location. I would recommend anyone to live here! My neighbors were great too!

Stopped in for a tour without an appointment. From the time I entered, Kara went above and beyond to answer my questions and showed me around numerous units. I have toured different communities because it was my job to do so this one by far is very beautiful. I occasionally walk around the property to get my exercise on different times of the day. I can tell the community and the staff value this place as to it is always clean. This place is definitely convenient you can walk to any store you d like you will definitely save on gas since everything is walking distance. Since I ve been around here I have not heard of any car racing it s actually a very quiet place. It is more than alright here like any other place things happen just let the staff know your concerns and I bet you they will handle it and get the job done in a timely manner and get it done right! Before ever making a decision on where to live it s a must to do your due diligence. Never go off of 1 or 2 bad reviews. I ve emailed Trish before and she got back to me asap and had a great interaction. I ve met the girls in the office and their smiles are everything. Maintenance team are awesome as well! Keep being great you guys! I must say what did it for me was the holiday events my oldest son won a gift card to Starbucks on Easter! It s the small things that make it great. My kids love it here. I definitely will recommend it here!!

I was visiting a friend that lives here, And I absolutely love this property! It s very clean and I hear nothing but good reviews about this place. What ever you do, do not move here especially if you enjoy your sleep. They will put families with small children on the top floor who keep you up all night. But if you complain they cant do anything about it but also youll get threatened to be evicted if you approach those tenants. Then theres the issue with their trash system. You have to set your cans out after 9pm and they pick up sometime late at night. Well the night we moved out, we set the trash cans out with trash for pick up and the cans were stolen. So now we are being charged $50 for cheap Walmart cans. Then they have made the assumption that we stole them. This place is falling apart and while the actual facility is nice, the people here are all disrespectful, lazy and entitled. Oh I should also add that if any of your neighbors (next to you, above or below) are smoking weed in their apartment yours will be fumigated with the smell. The office wouldnt do anything about it even when they knew there were BABIES AND TODDLERS living with those people or around them.

I actually found you by mistake. I was looking for a different complex, and stubbled into yours. I was pleasantly surprised. Kara instantly took great care of me. Out of all of the complexes I went to that day she is the only one that reached out to me same day! I didnt feel like I was wasting her time. Because of the size of my family and the fact that we would be renting 3 apartments, we felt it best we get a house at this time, however Venue was my first choice. Thank you Kara.

I ve been living at the Venue for about 7 years. The quietness and the people are what makes living here the BEST!! And the staff does what they can to make it a wonderful living experience. The maintenance people are fast when ever I have a maintenance issue. They are very gracious and professional. I m now going to take a minute drive to walk around a lake it s only one mile around lots of houses. I don t think the lake was here when I moved in. But I know it s there now and they re almost finished building the 60 (guessing) homes!!! See picture of the lake.

This is the best apartment complex ever!! I moved here during the summer of 2022 and absolutely love it here! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The service staff is quick to respond. Other perks that I love are trash pickup, covered parking, close to the library, and other shopping venues (a lot are within walking distance). The grounds are always kept nice and neat. Originally, this complex was wonderful. Updated appliances, granite countertops, etc. However, the quality went downhill throughout the 2 years we lived here. There is a known issue with water getting into the apartments around the patio doors every time there is bad weather. Maintenance always came in and did their best every time we called, but they were clearly limited in the repairs they were allowed to make by management. The extent of the repairs were just replacing baseboards and using flex seal around the patio door frame. By the time we moved out, the sheet rock was starting to bulge from water damage. The venue isnt too bad compared to other complexes, however serious repairs need to be made around the patio to prevent more serious damage. The extent of the damage in our apartment was starting to attract roaches in the last couple months. Currently, the apartments are overpriced for what youre getting.

I would Like to start off by Saying, we looked at many Apartments and talking to many Managers and Leasing Agents and the Venue Staff is Amazing instead of a 5 I would give them a BIG FAT 10. Tricia and Her Leasing Staff go above and beyond making You feel like a Resident the moment You walk in, the Hospitality they show is TOP NOTCH. We need a TV Mount hung on the wall, Al James showed up to do it, they were Amazing and Very Friendly, while they were there I mentioned that the A/C was not blowing in the Living Room and the Mater Bedroom like it was in our Children s Bedroom, they were quick to check it out before they left the discovered they the blower was not fully open in the 2 Rooms, they fixed quickly. I ve lived in apartments my entire college and adult life and this is by far the best. I ve renewed my lease multiple times. Great location and the office and maintenance staff spoil me. Requests are answered within hours and everyone has been nice and courteous. Many of the other residents work from home as well, so property is very quiet too.

Honestly the office people are great and the maintenance are great! For the most part even the neighbors are great! BUT BEWARE several residents are EXTREMELY OLD, they watch your every move through their windows because they don t have anything else to do. (The women down the hall called the office to make sure we were supposed to have a dog?¿) just very very very very very nosey tenants (the police officers that live there are less nosey than the old people) if you aren t interested in walking on eggshells I would asked to be placed not by the elderly. Also there is a blonde haired women who has a literally RABID pitbull this women can barely hold the dog on the leash and it will bark at you and try to attack you if you are within a 100 yard radius of her or the dog. I say all of that to conclude here GREAT COMPLEX, TERRIBLE NEIGHBORS (mostly)

Great people and great maintenance! Fixes things quickly. I really like the office and maintenance people. They are so nice and work with you to address any concerns. Nice neighbors! I feel safe. Nice to live within walking distance to so many things. I would have given it five stars but . Keep in mind you will hear everything your neighbors are doing and they should be able to do whatever they want. I just don t want to hear their business. Builders went light on insulation or something. You can hear the upstairs toilet flush. The constant heavy walking is like pounding and that s not the only pounding I hear. Hint hint. It s embarrassing. Apartment living is harder than I remembered. I get headaches from the heavy walking sounding like a constant hammer. Sometimes I want to scream take a break, prop your feet up and watch tv or something lol but again, people should be able to do whatever they want in the privacy of their own home. Problem is, it is not so private.

This is the second time I have moved into the Venue, and it has been an amazing experience each time. This is by far the most welcoming community I have ever lived it. The residents are nice and are mostly hardworking professionals. the office staff is prompt and polite, and the maintenance guys are beyond friendly and helpful. Im a paraplegic and they have helped me with anything I may have needed. They were always just a phonecall away. Today they helped me move a couch into my unit that was just dropped off outside my door. The community is very safe, and there are multiple amenities and restaurants withing walking distance. I would recommend this community to any of my friends and or family.

Just moved in ~a week ago and had some small apartment issues that I called the front desk about. Every single member of the office/maintenance staff I spoke to -- Nick, Alyssa, Kara, Lindsey, to name a few (sorry if I misspelled any) -- went above and beyond handling my requests, frequently communicating status updates, and scheduling/performing maintenance requests. I worked as a server for 10+ years and would consider their customer service top tier. I have not had a single interaction with anyone at Venue that wasnt great.

DO NOT RENT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHEATED!! My fiance and I found this apartment and thought that it was wonderful. It fit everything we wanted and more. This was at the beginning of the Pandemic Once we moved in we started to slowly notice some issues that would not be taken care of. Here were all the issues with living here just a Year!!!! Over priced for what you get Maintenance would not read the notes and enter my apartment when the Dog and cat were loose multiple times I would put in the notes for them to schedule a time that works where I Could put the animals away but it was always ignored by maintenance. We didn t have awnings for majority of the time we lived there, The other building could see into our bedroom No one picked up their pets poop in the dog park and nothing was done about it The breed restrictions were not followed or enforced When they power washed, mud was pushed into our door which lead to into our apartment The office staff would not handle the situations that were brought to their attention The next door neighbor would have minors over to smoke illegal substances and nothing was done. Staff seemed to have changed multiple times There were no drawers at all in the kitchen When we moved in you could tell the paint was fresh everywhere so anything that was put onto a shelf stuck and basically ruined it. We were sent an eviction notice during the time of the eviction moratorium for being $200 short on rent during a Global Pandemic, the office staff entered without a 24 hour notice It would take 2 days for the rent to be pushed through from a bank account The Big reason we moved was do to the price increase after one year when I was assured at move in it would not be. The office at the beginning was nice and helped us but once that lease was signed it went downhill fast!

I love the apartment, the staff and the area but there are NO safety measures in place. Tonight is the second time I have been in an uncomfortable situation where I had to run away from weird men stopping by the gates. Literally no cameras and no security guard making atleast one round in the back parking lot at night. Very stressful and terrifying. I m afraid to even come out to my car at night. Edit- THE Management and staff are working with me and are SO amazing and did not discredit my situation at all. I will definitely be resigning here even if the corporate offices refuse to add any cameras or security

Where do I begin?? Location is great!! However, these are my issues. The corner apartments have terrible wifi service, and I personally think this should be disclosed in the rental agreement. The apartments that recently got upgraded to fake wood flooring are a nightmare for the residents below them. We hear every stomp made, all day long. For the rent paid here, this is ridiculous. Unless you want the 3rd floor, I would look elsewhere. The dog poo is a sad, sad issue at Stormy Plaza (across the street from the wonderful library), and around the apartment complex. They have strict rules and penalties, but no one seems to care. No one picks up their dog mess and its disgusting to try to walk that area, much less play a game or sit for a picnic. That said, the residents are wonderful and the office people are pretty cool.

Ever since the new company took over, the apartment complex just lacked in every aspect. The staff, the cleanliness of the apartments and maintenance declined. They raised rental rates and fees as well. We had so many issues with our downstairs neighbor playing heavy bass music all the time and we could feel it through our floors and we must have complained at least 5 times but nothing was ever done. The halls were NEVER cleaned, only occasionally leaf blown. The same disgusting stains on the walls and floors were there for two years. The dog park was always muddy and a mosquito breeding ground for a long time as they never cleared stagnant water. They could care less if tenants didnt pick up after their dogs, so the dog park and other grassy areas always had stuff you had to avoid. They also had maintenance frequently needing access to everyones apartments way too much. When our washing machine leaked to the bottom neighbors apartment we were charged 250$ for repairs because the maintenance guy said it was our hose leaking and the real kicker is that when we were moving out and we removed our hose it turns out it was THEIR pipe leaking. Their maintenance guy didnt bother to check and just chalked it up to it being our fault. We didnt complain at that point because we just wanted to leave. Upon move out they tried to nickel and dime us for things they shouldnt even be charging us for, such as carpet stretching which is THEIR responsibility. They also charged us for stains that they could not prove (i asked for pictures) even though we had the carpet cleaned before move out. The staff member, Kaylee, took her sweet time with every question or email/call response and dragged out our refund checks for months. They also got our address wrong multiple times which took even longer to get our refund checks and just showed the staffs incompetence. We are so very glad we moved away from Venue and stopped overpaying them. We will definitely be avoiding Venterra living apartments in the future.

Worst management in the history of apartments was put on hold for 20 min and forgotten about . Was lied to about thr size of the apartment missing 1/4th of our square footage of the kitchen and cabinets . Was basicly told to move if we didnt like it. Hung up on ny corporate and we had ants in the apartment on day one. Then they start making up fees noone ever brought up and mix your SSN and personal info with other tenants wile in application process thus making it impossible for a easy move in . The office might as well be run by 5 year olds do yourself a favor and never lease here. Look at all the apartment reviews i havr found countless ones they couldnt hide or pay to.review on smaller sights.

Ive mostly enjoyed my time at the Venue at Hometown. I loved being so close to the library, grocery store, elementary school, and other amenities. So many things within walking distance. There are many family fun events that are held within walking distance as well during the year. The only complaint I have would be our upstairs neighbors, who continually play loud music at all hours, and have dogs that bark constantly when they are out. If you work from home, be aware of this. It can be noisy at times if you have someone above you. Other than that, great location, great pool. People have been very nice!

Been living here for several months so far in one of the lofts and have been really pleased thus far. Parking situation is great, no noise of any kind from neighbors, valet trash, and the people in the front office, specifically Jason have always been very helpful and nice to deal with when Ive needed something. Maintenance has been same day in most cases or following morning if not which is great.
