We planned a last minute birthday party for my daughters 14th birthday and everybody at the Texas Ski Ranch and Adventure Lagoon made it so easy. What could have been an extremely stressful situation went very smooth. They were helpful and understanding. Thank you guys for making this possible. My daughters 14th birthday went better than we could have planned and we have you guys to thank for it.

There s something for the whole family! World class cable park. Sections for beginners to pro. Also a boat for water skiing, surfing, tubing or whatever you want. The kids loved the new aqua park. Reminds me of bounce houses on the water! Adults can join too or enjoy the restaurants and bars. And so much more!

If youre a vendor DO NOT waste your $40 on a booth here. The pop-up marketing is absolutely awful and non-existent (would be fine if it was a free pop up and you felt like wasting the entire day) and they have the audacity to be rude when you share your concerns. Spend your time and your hard earned money at a place that actually cares about holding up their end of the deal. There are so many other places in SA and ATX that have much better foot traffic, cost less, and actually advertise for the event. This place sucks.

First time wakeboarding and it was alot of fun. Front desk staff were very nice along with the guys at the docks giving pointers. Only complaint is that there were a bunch of unsupervised kids running around cutting in line, and when I complained about it the staff just said thats how it is here. Would reccomend going during the school year during the week to avoid these problem children.

We were nervous first timers. But the staff explained everything very well. All young kids very polite especially the girls in the front and the young guy at the baby pond. He helped us till we got it down and was very motivating. You could tell he loved the sport and wanted others to learn it. They didnt have lockers but the girls in front offered to hold everything and of course all my stuff was untouched. Definitely going back again!!!!!

this was our first time ever going axe throwing and Rose made the experience amazing!! it was so so fun and we were able to make it a memorable event! i m not sure who the bartender was but she was amazing as well!! super fun and friendly as was the gentleman in the back making the food! she made all of the shots we wanted from the wheel with no hesitations, she s the best!! overall an amazing experience, food was great(especially the margaritas!!!!), drinks were 10/10, and the game was fun! will 100% be back and bring more friends! thank y all!

Venue is great! Axe throwing staff was very accomodating! Bartender was great! I booked a company Christmas party & let me just say, it was not the easiest to book & a terrible experience. I constantly had to call or email to get a response, like numerous times. Savannah, the coordinator for these type of parties, was always busy, was sick or always had an excuse as to why she wasnt able to email back, etc. While at the actual party I had to ask for Savannah as she wasnt easily accessible. Even an hour before the party, I had to ask Savannah about details that she was supposed to clarify in an email...no email was ever sent. We were then told another party wanted the axe throwing area, which was fine, even though initially we were told by Savannah, that we could stay in the area even with our time limit being up, but after we moved everything, they (the other party) never came... Overall, Ive booked numerous parties, Id have to say this experience was the most difficult and not somewhere Id recommend for a party for your small business. Savannah may be overwhelmed.

I love this place, I can t get enough! My whole life I ve wanted to wakeboard, but I thought you needed an expensive boat. Turns out, you can get a whole day of wakeboarding for less than a trip to the amusement park. If you have your own gear, an all day wakeboard pass costs less than a bar tab at a fancy cocktail bar! Speaking of bars, Ironsides Craft Bar is attached. It has a laid back vibe, good music, and even better prices. It s a great place to grab a drink after you ride, or sip while you watch your loved one on the water. They have axe throwing as well at Loki s Axe Haus. It s fun to let some tension out by letting the axes fly. Those are fun, but I usually come for wakeboarding. Since day one, the dock operators have been nothing but cool and helpful. They gave me tips to get off the dock, and ride on the features. The riders are the same, we love to hype each other up and help new people off the dock and around the corners. You shouldn t feel embarrassed coming here. We were all making big splashes off of the dock at one point, so there s no judgement! Another thing I like about TSR is they re open all year round. You can t most other on your Christmas break, but at TSR the holiday season is wetsuit season. If you re still reading, you could have been halfway here by now. Come out!

Honestly one of my favorite places in all of Texas. A total blast to kill anywhere from an hour to 8. The addition of the bar and restaurant in-house make this place a one stop shop. Hit the park for some recreation till sunset, grab a drink and some bar food, or hit the restaurant upstairs. The staff is also super friendly, namely Gabe, Eli, Riley, Emily, and Kevin. I would advise if you are a beginner however to come on the weekend so that you can ride Lil Bro (a smaller cable for beginners) before attempting the faster and slightly more technical main cable, but if you ve ridden before this place is great all year round!

Texas Ski Ranch may be described as somewhere between Austin & San Antonio but really Austin & San Antonio are on the outside looking-in on this unique place. We stopped in on our way back to ATX from floating on the Comal simply to try a Pumpkin Spice White Russian, a Fall drink special in Ironsides Craft Bar at TSR. Cody & Elena delivered the special cocktail just as portrayed @ironsidestsr. Drinks in hand we were sitting on the back deck overlooking their beach and wake board action - chill status achieved. Not ready to leave - we decided to try out the Axe throwing at Lokis Axe Haus - first timers. Excellent guidance and instruction by Griffin - we chunked those Axes like pros and kept all ten fingers & toes - definitely plan to return - highly recommend. Something else worth noting - everyone at TSR was very friendly and welcoming - excellent interaction with all, especially Madison and Jesse - we only planned to stop in briefly but ended up staying a couple of hours. Check this place out - make plans and go - do their stuff - follow them @texasskiranch and @lokisaxehaus.

My brother and I are very tall and when it comes to water sports, not very coordinated. Neither one of us have been able to wake board or ski off the back of a boat and came to the Ski Ranch one evening in hopes of learning! There are happy hour times where the price is discounted and even if you don t sign up for a lesson (which we did not) there are employees to coach newbies like us! There are two sections: one is an advanced area where people with skills were wake boarding, there were ramps and other obstacles for those who want a challenge, and the beginner area for newbies like us and for people practicing new skills. It s an automated pulley system (instead of a boat) and the speed at the beginners rope is controlled by the operator/employee. My brother and I had a blast and had more success than ever before at getting up and staying up on the board!! AND there are extremely discounted rates on certain days for example a ladies night, a night for first responders & emergency personnel. There are lawn chairs for lounging and a stage with occasional live bands.

I had a blast, the staff was very welcoming. And answered my, many questions. I do have to say though. They are mostly young and talk about parties, and are vulgar. and play on their phones all the time, rather than interact with customers and keep the place safe. And some of them just come to hang out and are very rude, to the patrons. They also have an employees child there, wakeboarding. That is very vulgar and rude, and cuts line. But rides for free and takes up your paid time. The male photographer that was there kept getting in the way and interrupting, the staff while they were talking to the people, learning, and that PAID to be there. The water is beyond disgusting, and full of 1 deep mud and moss. . And although the goats are cute in the middle. They are on a mound. So any of their waste gets washed in to the water. And that is Gross . Everything else was awesome.

This place is awesome!! I started taking my son here at the beginning of the summer and he absolutely loves it. He had never wakeboarded before but with the help from the guides he was able to pick it up really fast!! They also have paintball and axe throwing if we want to switch things up. So much potential here, probably a good place if you are an experienced wakeboarder, but not good for beginners. After spending over $230 for skiing lessons, our family of four left with no success. We went to TSR today to go to their Easter egg hunt. My kids were super excited about it and since we have been before I was as well. The bar is awesome, the staff friendly and there are so many little hang out spots its an awesome place to pretend you are on the beach. I was a little bummed with the Easter egg hunt, they said they took care of all of the ant hills but I think they did it the morning of as the ants were still active. I also would have suggested an egg limit as my kids were at the back of the group they only got 2 eggs between all 4 kids. We still had a great time and I was glad we went.

High end restaurant and bar, dinner theater on scheduled dates. We were there early in the evening and the week to celebrate an anniversary, but the service was attentive and on point despite our timing. The food presentation was exceptional, and the menu courses well thought out. I had the red wine flight, basil wontons as appetizer, and scallops for main course. I m interested in returning for the theater. If it s the same quality, it will be great!

Been coming here for years and Ive always had great experiences. Love the staff, love the environment, love the cable lake. Theyve changed a lot over time and its all been for the better. Texas Ski Ranch is a GREAT place to have some fun on the water. I recently took my youngest (8 yr) to a birthday party at the ski ranch. The boys worked with 2 instructors and learned how to wakeboard. They had the BEST time in the water. Both instructors were incredibly patient and understanding and encouraging to every child. Most notable my little one. He is NOT athletic at all and just kept trying and loved it. Chris (one of the instructors) got on the board with him and showed him how it was done after about the 20th time trying. HE WAS AWESOME!!! This is a very clean and fun atmosphere. They are constantly growing their business. They even have Axe throwing and paintball. Super family friendly: FUN for all ages!!

We weren t really sure what to expect but needed something to fill a day of vacation that my daughter could enjoy by herself. What we thought would be a 2 hour diversion turned into a 6 hour fun filled day. She had a wonderful time and the staff were SO helpful and pleasant. My husband and I enjoyed the day sitting in chairs by the water and reading. Another pleasant surprise was the restaurant on site- Sylver Spoon. The food was fantastic. If we lived in the area we d spend a lot of time there.

TSR offers so much fun ! Great fun for all ages. The cable operators are kind and possess an amazing amount of patience. Each new rider are coached as if they are the only one to help them be a pro and master wakeboarding. Theres also Axe throwing, paintball, skateboard/scooter ramps, concerts, summer camp too. I love the chairs on the beach to just watch all the smiles with a cold drink in hand.

TSR!! I have wonderful memories of coming here from my beginning of my wake board career to becoming a professional. The coaches were always real and super nice. My best friends and I spent at least a hundred hours here just honing our skills for the next tournament. This is a place of hard learning and skill development. Extreme sports are a hard learned skill and this is a great place to start young and impress the scouts later. It teaches you to break that (NO FEAR ZONE) have fun, be safe, live fast!!!!!

Its really an awesome place with great people working there and a lot of cool stuff like food and live music in the evenings. Theres a lot more to list thats good, so youre wondering why Im only rating 3 stars, right? The whole place is worthy of 5 stars but loses 2 as far as Im concerned for the sole reason of the fact that the water itself smells absolutely foul. Its even worse when you get a mouthful of it after wiping out. Fix that and Ill be happy to give those 2 extra stars.

We had a blast here today while axe throwing. Our principal booked us time and our instructors made it awesome! We had a mini tournament and laughed so much. We even improved our skills! Would definitely recommend this for a date night, family night or team building!

Always a fun place to hang out. Was grabbing dinner at the Sylver Spoon Dinner Theater. Really amazing and nicely theme menu and food selection. Food and service was great. We got seated outside with a view of the ski ramps, so it had a nice atmosphere and scenery to look at. Overall would love to go again soon and catch a show when possible.
