The Schlitterbahn has definitely gone downhill. I travel from California to go to this water park. Usually two to three times a year. Every year its getting worse and worse. Theyre turning it into a California type amusement park with all the OSHA requirements. Theyve lowered the water level in the river, then they have turned down the volume of torrent that comes out of it. It. Very sad. Theyve closed off entrances and exits to the ride by the parking lot that uses the river water. Not sure what its called. Its just really gone downhill in general. I dont think Ill be going anymore actually.

Weird to rate this one ride separately, but yeah, Its the best ride in the park. One of the best water rides in the country easily. Buy a Fast Pass, do not bother trying to wait on line for it unless you are there first thing in the morning or right before close. It is an hours long wait most of the time, and that goes to practically walk on with the Fast Pass. If you make $25/hr its worth it for this ride alone, and it works for 10 rides

Fun ride, but get here early (about 20 min before the park opens) or they will try to charge you $40 for parking in the lot that is normally free and you have to deal with loooong lines for the rides.

Imagine going to a water park where you have to wait 2 hours to just to get in a pool. Yes, thats Schlitterbahn. Hope everyone is aware they recently added a line to get into the wave pool around Master Blaster, which there is no shade in the majority of the line. This, combined with the companys greed of not having a real max capacity and overselling tickets is just a heatstroke lawsuit waiting to happen. I used to a big fan of this waterpark, but today I found it has gone very much downhill. Charging $70 for an experience that could be considered by many, a scam. Will never be back, very disappointing. However, would like to add the staff did end up refunding me after some debate, so +1 for the customer service I suppose.

Overpopulated and understaffed. Hire some bloody adults to help those children run this place and study how amusement parks handle crowds. We stood in line almost 3 hours for a 7 minute ride. After that we just floated around the lazy River because I was not about to waste the entire day on one more ride. If you watch any of the Disney resorts their lines are twice as long but move three or four times faster because they know what they are doing.

The Master Blaster is a lot of fun! Its very fast and is long enough to remember. However the lines are ridiculously long and it is a little bumpy on the bum. Easily my favorite ride at Schlitterbahn, but only did it once because of the lines. Also loved surrounding wave pool. In general the tube river rides were on the dull side and annoying in that the tubes are not well designed for keeping you from bottoming out.
