Very friendly staff who chats with you when they can. They are usually hustling around inside and out trying to keep up with the heavy downtown business. Enjoy the inside and outside atmosphere in such an amazing location. Good coffee and pastries, but especially loved the PoBoy sandwich and Nashville Spicy Chicken Sandwich (pictured here). An excellent stop for folks who work downtown, NBTX residents and tourists, as well... I hear their Sunday brunch is excellent.

Need a little happy? Wander off the beaten path in New Braunfels around the traffic circle to the most delightful sidewalk cafe. Order a mimosa or a coffee and watch then world spin by. Hunger pangs will hit as you watch the other diners order their skillets with home style potatoes. Take my advice and get the salmon benedict. It s flavorful, holds together well, and comes with a sprinkle of caviar. Eggs done perfectly so you have just that last bite of muffin to wipe the plate. Delightfully unexpected!

One of the best places downtown to get breakfast, coffee or mimosas! The menu is well priced (not overpriced!) and the service is exceptional! Enjoy sitting outside under an umbrella watching all the downtime action while visiting with a friend. My favorite item on the menu is the Dixie Lox & Bagel! Since my name is Dixie, I like to think they named it after me. Go see Jennifer & her staff, you won t regret it!

Food was delish, ambiance fantastic, but service not so great. Had to ask 3 times for the table to be wiped twice for utensils, and once the food was delivered, we never saw the staff again. We had to walk to the counter to pay because no one checked on us. Im glad I tried once because the French toast was delish.

Service was awesome! Also, the mimosas were delicious. However, we were not impressed with the food. Pulled pork sandwich and cole slaw were dry. Bacon gravy tasted off. However. The croissant was soft and buttery, and the breakfast potatoes tasty. This is a good place to go, sit outside, drink mimosas, and eat breakfast pastries.

The people were very nice, and it seemed like it could be a nice place if better managed. From reading other reviews, I see that ownership changed recently. Here are my complaints: - The online description describes a sit down restaurant but they seemed surprised we wanted to sit and put us in a concrete room about 20 yards from the main restaurant. It was an incredibly loud room and is in desperate need of sound dampening. (If the owners read this, I am an audio professional and recommend some baffles for the ceiling area, maybe some outdoor rugs, and hanging anything on the wall that can help with the echo) - Our server was nice but because we were in a separate building, our orders were taken, and payment was taken, but the server disappeared in between never checking in and giving us no chance to ask for salt (none on table, and the food was in need of it), extra napkins or any restaurant staple like that. We were actually worried we were forgotten while waiting to pay after finishing our food. - And a small gripe, they gave us our coffees in eco friendly disposable cups. I admire the effort, but the lids didnt fit so they were hard to drink out of and the card board softens with liquid. I dont understand why they couldnt have the actual eco friendly option of reusable mugs for a sit down breakfast place, but again, their surprise at us wanting to sit down could explain this. If they are more of a coffee shop than a diner, this should be better explained in the online listing for the restaurant and they should ditch the full brunch menu. Overall disappointing, and I hope they get better. There are many other things I feel I could mention and go into detail on, like the overall food taste being bland, and the fact that we were made aware of needing to be out of the building for a party within the hour, but it just contributed to a mediocre experience. If anything changes, I may consider trying it again. The coffee was actually really good.

Had a wonderful evening sitting on the patio looking at the town circle lights on a beautiful Texas fall evening. Had an awesome server that was joyful and friendly, and then to top it off the blackened shrimp were amazing! And then some fresh Beignets with honey and powder sugar, followed by a stroll through downtown. We will definitely be back very soon, to enjoy our local downtown and get some great food!

If I could give less than one star I would. The food was terrible. Cold, lacking salt, totally lacking the semblance of flavor. I ordered a Creole dish that was something but it WAS NOT Creole at all. I m from Louisiana, whatever was on my plate wasn t Creole. It was just nasty. I told my waitress how bad it was and she was happy to charge me and not offer anything else. I ate what I could stomach, and left. Total disappointment. I ve been working in TX for this last month and this is hands down the absolute worst meal I ve had.

I think this place is great! Randomly stopped in, was confused how to initially get seated but a waiter saw my confusion and helped us out. I didn t get the waiters name but i liked him, his personality, he was helpful, just a great vibe. We ordered our food and paid for it using a QR code at the table, that was so so simple and i wish every place did this! But i also loved how the waiter made sure we were comfortable ordering that way because if your not I m assuming they will help you do it the old fashion way also. So the food and drinks came out and the mimosa was great, and my breakfast taco was perfect. I ordered a side of sausage, it was very very good! I love coming to New Braunfels, i just love the town and the people and this place is consistent with the culture. I will for sure come back and i do recommend this place for a drink and a bite to eat.

This used to be my favorite place for breakfast tacos and coffee but not anymore. Im not sure if its due to an ownership change or due to the name change but this has gone downhill. The cost is way way higher than just average inflation but the amount of food included is also less. So now its $10 for two smaller tacos, one slice of fruit and one strawberry cut into smaller pieces. The sausage used now is some cheap stuff and not the really good brown crumble sausage they used to use. On top of that, the tortillas are smaller and stale. Im so sad to see how far this place has fallen. You cant just increase the cost of everything, add a new bar and forget to make the food taste good.

Most awkward lunch experience and felt uncomfortable. Had a sit down lunch at a table outside near the entrance. Drinks and food took a long time and the place was slow. The wrap I ordered was dry and underwhelming. The server came outside to make sure we paid on his handheld device. We paid while still finishing up our meal. The server never checked on us or asked if we needed anything else. Later, another woman came out to make sure we had paid (again) after we had already completed our payment transaction. She made a comment about how her husband watches the cameras to make sure people pay, further making this experience all the more awkward. She came off as rude. We love supporting local. However, after this experience we will no longer be returning. Customers should not be treated the way we were that day.

Its nice to have a coffee shop in the area that serves real food and not just pastries. I am obsessed with their breakfast tacos. Great Wifi, with one of the fastest networks I have used when working from a coffee shop. (As a general PSA.. if you are going to work out of a coffee shop for an extended period of time, please make sure you are ordering enough items to make it worth it for the company.. not just a pastry and sit there for 4 hours.)

Today was not the best.. I ve been going here for a while and I ve never had terrible service or terrible coffee until today. If you tell me to Scan the QR code to order online because you don t want to do your job and take my order manually, after being rude to an elderly couple Do not tell me you re going to bring my food to me at an outside table then leave it sitting inside for 40 minutes and say it was someone else s mistake. Finally got my food in a to go box and left. I threw my coffee away at the end of all of this as I left. Tried to drink as much as I could to give it a chance. I order the same thing coffee every time I go this was NOT it. I don t like to make a big deal of things but I did not want to speak to the woman in there again to try and ask for a better one. It s hard to keep supporting local when the workers have an attitude, don t like their job and can t keep up with product consistency.

A cappuccino, regular coffee and small piece of lemon poppy seed bread was $12.50. The bread was undercooked with a good 1/4 to 1/2 inch of raw dough along the bottom edge - as a baker myself, I can say it probably needed at least another 5-6 mins in the oven. I might pop in for coffee once in a while but not regularly. They can make their scratch from the tourists who dont want to wander from the main plaza.

We love stopping in at the Crosswalk for a nice lunch. Their Gyro is amazing and always a treat. Their food is very clean and delicious. Nice soups and their breakfast burrito is incredible. Its a great stop for a quality meal.

The build your own breakfast sandwich was fresh and delicious. I went with a croissant, bacon, egg, tomato, spinach, and basil aioli. We like the outdoor seating. Fast and friendly service. My oatmilk latte was mediocre but we enjoyed everything else.

I love having Crosswalk as one of my favorite local spots to grab a Rosemary Vanilla Latte - hot or cold, and a pastry on days I work in town! They ve got great food (lunch or breakfast), and a fantastic atmosphere! The staff are always so friendly and helpful!

Update: Best porch in town! Now that we are back to eating outside for a while, Crosswalk has the best covered dining area! All of their food is fresh and made to order. And now they have beer and wine. Remember, EVERY SINGLE restaurant is still experiencing staffing shortages. Be patient and tip well. ----- Awesome local cafe. The food is all made fresh daily. And the coffee is locally roasted!

Always such a delight to get to join people at Crosswalk. The staff is awesome, the food and beverage options are endless, and it s such a great location. I can always depend on service with a smile and my order tasting terrific - all while being in the heart of this great community as people pass by. I ve even had the pleasure of meeting some pretty cool new people who are also regulars in this cool spot.

What a lovely local establishment nestled in the heart of downtown. I love the scenic views from the patio. Love coming here and working or reading and enjoying their breakfast bowls after I drop the kids off at school. Also, love their wine/beer specials every afternoon to early evening!

If I could give this establishment negative stars I would. Today on Christmas Eve, me and three of my favorite girlfriends met here for coffee, mimosas and food. For an hour we laughed, cut up and were really enjoying each others company. We were asked by an employee, Steve, to keep it down and be quiet. He then proceeded to tell us that our laugher was keeping customers from coming inside. We were the only customers sitting inside. We were mortified and extremely saddened by his comments. As we headed outside to leave he followed us and told us we were banned for life from ever coming back. As a local business owner, he apparently doesnt know that laughter and fun brings business.

Crosswalk has the perfect location. However, they only have one person on staff and their options are rarely available so you end up getting something not on the menu because the menu is not accurate.

Pesto chicken sandwich was terribly dry. The side was 4 small grapes. This was pathetic for $12. Dont bother with this place. Owner is a tight... skips on quality coming from personal friend who worked there. Save you money and go to cravings instead. They know how to make a delicious sandwich with adequate sides.

We decided to give this place a try after walking around and shopping and we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered 3 different Italian sodas, all of them delicious. I gave the Caramello with an add shot a try and I loved it! The coffee was amazing and not too sweet. We also ordered 2 of the jalapeño, cheese and sausage Kolache s and they were so fresh and flaky and yummy! I know that there are a few Coffee shops here in New Braunfels but the taste and quality and service that we received here was excellent! Thank you so much we will definitely be coming back to give the fresh made quiche and macaroons a try!

When ordering/paying I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip which was a tad off-putting. The side that comes with a sandwich is grapes. For $10 a sandwich I feel like chips or something more substantial is appropriate. In addition, the menu states that the sandwiches come with chips which played a big factor in my decision when ordering. An update of their current offerings is necessary. They also charge 50 cents for a cup of water which would have been nice to know up front. My friend ordered the Californian which is supposed to come with cheese and in fact did not. Likewise, My girlfriend ordered a gyro and there was a very little amount of thin sliced lamb included. However, I will say that the patio is nice, the food seemed quality and the service was fast.
