I needed to find a restaurant where I could meet some family members who were halfway between Buda and San Antonio, and I settled on this place in New Braunfels. Thus, I discovered this restaurant, Los Dos Garcias, doing Google searches. I should note that they are family and locally owned. We arrived for breakfast at about 9:00 a.m. and were quickly seated. I will note that by 10:00 a.m. on until we left, around 11:00 a.m., the place was very crowded. Youll see by the pictures Ive included that they have a small dining area on one side of a wall, and then through a doorway, theres a bigger dining area. There are plenty of servers to take care of the people that come in the door. The place reminded me of Old Mexico as its decorated with many paintings, murals, and very polite comments about life. I ordered some chips and salsa. These were good, and the chips are really airy, light, and crispy. For my main breakfast, I ordered the Migas plate and my friend ordered a Barbacoa taco and a ham and egg taco. The food was delicious, the service good and Ill definitely keep this restaurant my list to return to when in this New Braunfels area in the future. I hope your experience, when you visit, is as good as mine. They really have a good business and good service model, and this is evident by the number of customers that they have frequenting the place. Parking: The restaurant is located in a small strip center with other businesses, so just be mindful of where you park. There is parking on the side, if parking is not available in the front of the restaurant.

This is New Braunfels hidden gem when it comes to breakfast tacos!! The tacos are sizeable and flavorful. The tortillas are soft and perfect. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous.

Food was magnificent Carne guisada WAS DELICIOUS THE PASTOR TACO THE FAJITA TACO OMG EXCELLENT EXCELLENT HOMEMADE CORN AND FLOUR TORTILLA. Waitress very very nice salsa chips GOOD GOOD GOOOOD TY WE WILL BE BACK .

All we can say it was a wonderful experience the food all tasted great and was freshly made also excelente presentation. We enjoyed the chilaquiles verdes with chicken and eggs, hands down the best ones in NB. Food, salsas and aguas frescas are all on point . Great portions and reasonable prices. Awesome customer service Keep up the great work ! Kid-friendliness: My daughter loved the mini pancakes, eggs and bacon. Waitress was also very kind to my children.

There are a lot of breakfast taco places in New Braunfels, TX, but if you want GOOD, come here!! I had a migas with cheese taco(left), and a ChileQuille Taco (right, and probably spelled it wrong) DELICIOUS!

This is a great little place to have Mexican food. Fresh everything. Fresh tortillas and yes theres a difference. Great chilaquiles and great barbacoa. The coffee is made the traditional Mexican way with cinnamon.

First time to try this restaurant. Called in a lunch order to go for chicken fajita quesadilla, Flautas and beef enchiladas. All lunch specials. Came home with 2 chicken fajita tacos instead of a quesadilla and only 2 Flautas instead of 3 that were listed on the menu. The food was good but not happy I didn t get what I ordered.

I was in New Braunfels for work and found Los Dos Garcias and they did not disappoint! Everything about this place was great. Attentive server, hot coffee, my order was out quick, the barbacoa was tender and seasoned well, the beans and potatoes on my plate were delicious and the salsa had just the right spice/ flavor. I will definitely come back the next time Im in town! Thank you, Lod Dos Garcias for such a great breakfast!

I currently work at the Sherwin Williams paint store at 364 landa street, i purchased 8 tacos for my crew this morning.. don t get me wrong this place has amazing food, although i was shorted 2 tacos and the lady on the phone was very adamant about giving me the entire 8 tacos. Yes i should have checked the bag before i left but i thought i could trust this place. 5 stars for food 2 stars for customer service. We are a busy store so i don t have time or patience to go back and argue i am deeply disappointed

UPDATE: New owners? Different recipes? I haven t been here in a few months but woke up today craving their enchiladas only to be disappointed in the taste and presentation of what my husband brought home. I asked for extra rice instead of beans, I didn t get that. Hopefully they bring back their old enchiladas they were so delicious! Love going here!! the service, food, pricing can t compete. Wow! A new favorite! Quality and fair prices. I read the reviews and thought to myself that they had to be exaggerated. I got something simple, a combo plate. $10, including iced tea and chips. Their salsas are unique. The food quality and taste were well above expectations. So good, I think they may be my standard on quality now. The family running this place is just so pleasant and nice, too. I came for lunch, but I expect breakfast to be just as excellent. Give them a try. They turn average into delicious!

The food was REALLY good! I got the Beef Enchiladas with the rice and beans. The food was delicious. The chips and salsa that we got were also really good. My boyfriend also loved the food that he got. The food was very authentic - which I haven t found a good authentic Mexican restaurant in a long time. The restaurant was clean and cool on a hot summer day. The staff was very nice and very helpful. They were very attentive with everything. The price of the food was cheap compared to how good the food actually tasted. I m super glad to have found this place. I will definitely come here every time I come down to New Braunfels.

After Google search and reading reviews we decided to try.. o Was not disappointed!! We ordered pork chop plate, Huevos Ranchero, menudo, barbacoa taco and migas a la mexicana.. menudo was very tender and flavorful!! Beans were delicious!! Could not tell if Tortillas were homemade but were good if I couldnt tell they were store bought, I figured had to be from a molina!! Chips and salsa just the right enough heat!! Oh and coffee was hot and fresh!! The staff was attentive and nice!! Loved the place and will be back!! Tuesday specials coming!! Yumm yumm!!

Have enjoyed breakfast tacos as well as chicken flautas plate for lunch. Bean and cheese and bacon and egg tacos were yummy. Flautas made with chicken breasts were the best I have ever had. Both were just fresh and delicious! This restaurant is located in the spot where Hanna s Kitchen used to be. Hanna s was my favorite place for breakfast tacos, and I have to say this place will be my new favorite place. So fresh and yummy. Please come out and support this new family owned local business. Had some breakfast tacos here today. Had the Piccadillo and the bacon and egg. They were excellent, hot, and fresh. The bacon and egg had a good amount of bacon which was nice. Furthermore, they had excellent salsa. Finally, unlike some other local taco places, they were super fast! It s worth taking the 20 seconds to walk inside, because that s a lot better than the 10 minutes you spend in the drive thru elsewhere. Parking: Plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.
