Dingy place. Ordered Carne Asada, my son odered the fajitas caliente. Both looked exactly the same on the plate. No refill on water, tortillas were thick and tasted like cardboard. Like San Marcos Palm restaurant, but not this one.

We needed something to eat this morning and so we did a google search and this placed popped up. So the 4 of us agreed on breakfast so we made the drive from the hotel to here. I have to say that it is well worth it to come here for breakfast! The food was delicious, hot and fresh. We all agreed that we will definitely eat here again!

First time trying this place. I had the New Braunfels Special. 2 cheese enchiladas, rice, beans, a side of carne guisada, and 2 tortillas. Except for being a little too salty for my liking, the food was overall good. Chips and salsa were good along with the Iced Tea. Ill be returning to try other food options.

Came based off breakfast reviews and it was totally worth it. Hand made tortillas being made so all can see. Chips and salsa was good. Breakfast was filling and delicious. Sopapillas to top it all off. Will be back again.

I ve been looking for a good mexican restaurant since I moved to Texas two years ago. I can guarantee you, this is the BEST mexican food you will ever find. The seasoning is on point. I wish my stomach was bigger to eat more and more. Definitely my new place. The coffee is great, the food is awesome and the service is the best.

The last couple times I ve been with my family it was great. Today the MANAGER was unbelievably rude to me on the phone and in person. When asked about it. He explained it was because my order, and that the restaurant, which was empty at the time, had a long line. There were at least 5 employees standing there at the time with nothing to do. Casual atmosphere, hole-in-the-wall place with good food, good prices, and great service. Pork chop breakfast plate is one of our favorites! The barbacoa is really good too. We enjoy their coffee in the morning and their chips and salsa is brought straight to the table when you get there. Their soda is brought to you in a can. And the tortillas are made fresh which you can see from the further dining room.

Waitress took over 20 minutes to come to our table with menus. After bringing menus she asked for our drinks and took another 20 minutes to bring them. After bringing our coffee...we placed our food order and then it took way over 20 minutes to co.e back for a coffee refill. Food came in another 20 minutes and she forgot to bring us silverware. We waited about 5.minutes to get them so we can start eating. Service was horrible. Food was okay. I think if service would have been better and decent I would have enjoyed my food instead of being so upset about the horrible service.

Very slow service. It took us 20 minutes to get a waitress, and they weren t even that busy. It wasn t like the waitress came to wait on us, we had to ask another waitress to see who was going to be waiting on us. Finally put in a drink order and we waited another 15 minutes for the drinks to come out. We put our order at the same time as our drinks, as the person that brought chips and salsa to our table provided us menus. After waiting over an hour, still waiting on food. Need to do better on your service. No light in the restroom. Not impressed.

The tortilla was extremely hard unedible and so was the food dry cold , the waitress instead of helping us fix the food , started arguing with us, saying that thats how in was made there ,Since its a different owner , ( yet Its still called Palms Cafe and the food should be prepared the same ) , how could they say that !!! My favorite restaurant for breakfast tacos ! Homemade tortillas from Palm Cafe are super delicious . They will make every other restaurant you eat at afterwards seem sub par . This cafe has some good breakfast tacos and plates. So far Ive had no issues in ordering or orders being wrong, however I feel like the prices are a bit high and the only other complaint I have is the Barbacoa tacos are not what Im used to getting and know as barbacoa. . The meat was like stringy type meat or shredded, and the taste made it hard to take a second bite.. I dont say that to turn anyone away because the food is good, the place is clean and the wait staff are really good at what they do. I would recommend trying their great food just not the barbacoa...its definatly an A+ restaurant and service with a smile.

As a very petite girl this lady convinced me with her excellent service to order the breakfast #6. It was a lot, and i ate all but half the pancakes, which were amazing, like she said.
