Nothing was bad, but nothing was great either. The queso tasted like velveeta & the house frozen marg tasted like a Jose Cuervo pre-made margarita. The steak was a beautiful cut and cook but barely seasoned. Our server was nice but served us food without napkins or utensils and just little stuff like that. The prices are waaaaaayyyy too high for the food quality unfortunately!

The food was deliciously delicious, Mexican and American, the restaurant was luxurious, good service, it is more excellent, a beautiful place, it looks like a lineage , But the price is very good, my husband and I and my baby ate well, too a very delicious michelada and a margarita, all for $60. I recommend it. Kid-friendliness: They have a child seat with a safety belt. They care for the children with delicacy and affection. Wheelchair accessibility: All very accessible, with toilet service.

Went to Dos Rios with a group of 8 adults last night. Restaurant was 2/3 full. Ordered the fajitas. Half-pound was market price of $37, which would ve been fine if they d been great. Fajitas were cooked very rare (red and bloody) when we got them so we asked for them to be cooked a bit longer. We ended up with shoe-leather fajitas. Extremely disappointed and won t be back. On the plus side, there was ample parking.

Though certainly not for the budget-conscience, the beef fajitas were outstanding both times I had them. The 2nd time was the charm, as I was so pleased with the marinade (flavor), juiciness, and absolutely delectable texture of each bite. You can tell this is a premium cut of beef. My wife loved her Skinny margarita. I had the jalapeno version. Both were Top Shelf, and worth the price. Very friendly staff and clean location. Service and atmosphere have been consistent all the times we have been here--lunch and early dinner. Great place to go if you dont mind lots of chatter and laughter. Not great for business meetings, but fun for business lunches.

Some of the worst looking food I ve ever seen come out of a kitchen! Staff no problems. For starters they give you a bland watered down charred tomato and call it salsa. If you ask if they have a different salsa they bring out and green salsa that is as equally underwhelming flavor wise but is spicier than just about anything you ve ever eaten. Ordered the sample platter and when it arrived you can immediately tell its not right. Short of removing food off a send back plate and putting it back in the oven, is the only way I can imagine nacho chips could be so burnt looking and yet so soggy you need a spoon to pick it up. The Chicken flauta came out looking like the person working the deep fryer was throwing items in the basket like free throws. Until this place fixes the kitchen staff and their recipes I d go elsewhere.

if I could leave, no stars at all, I would worst experience I ve had in a restaurant in a long time even worse because it was my birthday dinner took nearly 10 minutes for us even to be greeted at the table and get waters when I got my margarita. There was no flavor just freaking tequila. We got chips with no salt and salsa that tasted like tomatoes with no spice or seasoning. I asked for a spicier one, and I don t know if they thought it was a joke but then they bring me one that s hotter than hell I can barely even eat. I finally get my food and I m a saltalcoholic, but I ve never had anything so salty in my life. all of my food was so salty I could barely even eat half of it and because it was my birthday I didn t want to start a ruckus so I dealt with what I got and we left both me and my husband hardly finished half the food. The server was awful, barely checked on us and every time I actually needed him I would see him on his phone behind the bar by far the worst experience I ve ever had and if I could get my money back, I really wish I could.

I had the Veracruz. It had good flavor but Im pretty picky about how seafood is cooked and for me it was a little overdone but the flavor made up for it. The atmosphere was good for our little gathering - where we could still talk but not deathly loud or eerily quiet. However, the waitstaff was just slightly lacking. The host seemed to be in a bad mood, our waiter was almost non-existent. Its not that I want the waitstaff to hover over/dote on us but simple drink refills would have been nice. I also ordered the Tres Leches to go and he never brought it and I didnt realize it until we were leaving. He was nowhere to be found so I had to flag down somebody to find him or the dessert. Just a little disappointed since Ive been wanting to go and wished it was a better experience - I believe that staff and can make or break an experience.

Over-priced. Two beef tacos al carbon with rice and beans 27??? Rice was meh, beans had too much cumin, salsa was bland. Half the menu is over $30 per entree for average TexMex. I would tell you the price for beef fajitas but it is market price. I post this because I would like to have known in advance.

Waiter was very attentive. We have lots of choices in Texas and We have favorite Tex-Mex restaurants all over the state and this is a keeper. The food was very good. Salsa, enchiladas, beef fajitas, charro beans, and brochette shrimp were all very good. Nice atmosphere. We ll be back when in town.

I came in on 6/1 and had a great experience. Julian was my server and did a fantastic job, I can t comment enough on the attentiveness and efficiency he showed throughout our experience! The manager came by, I believe his name was Scott, he was kind and easy on the eyes, he greeted us and checked to make sure everything went well. I always enjoy a company that truly values their customers experience and cares about making the experience a positive one. I have noticed that the quality of service in the industry has been lacking as of late but I would 10/10 recommend this place based off service alone which is such a nice change of pace! The food was fantastic as well, I typically take a Togo box everywhere I go but i couldn t help but finish my brisket enchiladas as they were mouth watering and flavorful. I AM HOOKED!!! I can t wait to take my whole family next time as I will most definitely be a regular here.

Went to eat with a group of coworkers, the service was great-our waiter interacted with every single person at our table, the food arrived and thats when it went down hill. I had ordered the Chiclen Tinga Enchiladas- w rice, beans and a small salad. The lettuce n tomatoes, looked as if they had already started to wilt, I pushed it aside, The enchiladas, looked as if theybhad just been thrown on the plate and nuked to melt the cheese topping, - I ate one and some chicken from the 2nd. The rice was over seasoned, did not touch, the beans had a burnt smell and taste to them. I personally dont care for burnt food, especially if I am paying for it. I did let the server know and received an apology but that was all. First and definetly last time visiting this place. Buyer beware.

My usual spot is a different Mexican restaurant across town but so happy I tried Dos Rios tonight for a change! I came in pretty late on Sunday, didn t realize they closed at 8PM. My server, Hudson, was AWESOME!! I never felt rushed or pressured to order he gave me recommendations on fajitas and margaritas and spot on were delicious!! Hudson was attentive to our table even after they closed, I felt so bad so we wrapped up quickly but he kept assuring us to enjoy our meal, drinks and girl talk! Can t wait to come back we will request Hudson s section, if you re reading this, YOU should too!

Everything about this place was wonderful. This was everyones first time here and we were not disappointed. The drinks and food was amazing. Food I got was really good, but it is worth mentioning the waitress practically kicked me out. I had been seated alone for about 20 mins and ordered my food and drink and she came back around after the second time asking if I wanted the check. Mind you, this place was DEAD at 3pm. What a gem of a TexMex restaurant! The salsa has a smokey quality to it. The beef in the crunchy taco, tamale, and enchiladas is cooked way longer and seasoned way better than anything you see in most places. The service was fantastic as well! We would be regulars if we lived nearby.

Not the best Mexican food Ive had, but our server, Mason, made my sisters birthday dinner at Dos Rios a good decision! There were 8 of us, on 4 different tabs, mingling around the table, asking for mixed drinks, extra napkins, more queso, to go boxes, a lighter for birthday cake candles...Mason kept going and was cheerful the whole way. Even commented on the one of the gifts she received when recognizing the cover of the book! You might catch me back there just to sit in Masons section!

Great food and good drinks. Everything we ordered and picked out was very tasty and great flavor. From the seafood, to the rice and beans the food had the right amount of Mexican food flavor. Not too much and we had just enough. Was and is kids approved on what they offer. Made the Mommy drinks appropriately proportioned and in a timely fashion. Would go again. Prices are on the higher end so be ready to spend some money flow. They arent skimpy in the portions so no need to wonder on that. If youre hungry, then you WILL GET filled with the dishes they offer. At least from the ones we ordered. Live music was a bit loud considering there was a door shut separating that area from the dining section, but thats to be expected I guess if theres live Mariachis doing their performance.

We were excited to try this place and unfortunately very disgusted and not impressed. Our wait for food was 40 minutes after ordering. There was old food stuck to all utensils. The nachos were soggy. And there was old food stuck to the inside of our cups. The portion size of the fajitas was also very disappointing for the high price. We had to ask other servers for refills because our server kept disappearing. First and last for us!

I keep telling you guys that the good isnt always the best thing about a restaurant. Our waiter was flamboyantly vibrant and a true pleasure to have serve us. He made things easy. I wish I remembered his name too give him a shout out, but if my description doesnt describe the exact person, then the place has a bunch of great waiters!!!

We had a great waitress who was very patient and kind with our kids. Chips and salsa were good. They gave the kids these wax sticks to make things with. The kids loved them, but Im sure the staff isnt a fan of cleaning up the waxy residue afterward. They served the kids first, which helped keep them busy. My fajitas were very good. My portion was slightly smaller than Im used to (we all know how TexMex is known for huge servings), but I still couldnt eat it all and still had leftovers. The chicken fajita meat was well marinaded. No complaints. We went on a Sunday evening; there was no wait. Kid-friendliness: Most Mexican and TexMex restaurants are great for kids. There are chips to start and everything else comes quickly.

I am so sorry to have to do this but unfortunately I feel like I need to. We have been coming here as a family of 5 since they have opened. For the longest time, I m not even sure when it changed but they did not accept reservations, we were happy to wait because of the food. Tonight is a different story, we arrived at 5:30 and we re told it s going to be a 25 to 45 minute wait we waited. Almost 2 hours later we are still waiting, with no end in sight and no response/answers for the team inside. I m only posting this so other families with small children are cautious in this weather or please make reservation because now they accept them apparently.

I enjoyed the company - food was standard Mexican- I couldn t tell my margarita had any liquor in it - waitress seemed to be a new hire and had to ask us to repeat our order. I enjoyed it because I enjoyed the people I was with. Nothing was fantastic - maybe ai have to try it again sometime??

Terrible customer experience. Checked in to the restaurant at 7:15pm to a more than half empty building. After a 30 minute wait, we were finally seated. We ordered our food around 8pm and the food was served at 8:55pm. The food was terrible, as was the service. We will never go back to this place!!!

Love this place! Amazing salsa, my favorite, would drink it with a straw! Love their fajitas. The beef fajitas are my favorite. The chicken fajitas are excellent. Beef fajita quesadilla is great. The Chipotle shrimp appetizer we love, comes with beans and cilantro rice. Highly recommend

JP is an excellent waiter. My family and I came to eat lunch after church and JP took care of us. He s incredibly professional, attentive, well mannered, and an all around genuine person. If I owned my own business, I would attempt to lure JP away from Dos Rios and have him come work with me. The food is always delicious, but the service JP provided is the reason my family and I will be coming back. If Dos Rios knew what was good for them, they d pay JP more to keep him employed. Waiter was excellent ! Nice roomy restaurant with tables and booths. Food was plentiful and happy hour cocktails drinks were great. Plenty of chips and salsa. I had shrimp taco and was good but a little too salty for me. Restaurant was noisy and had to lean over in booth to hear . It was enjoyable though and service was great. Had outdoor and indoor seating. Got there a little after 5 on Friday and no wait, was seated immediately. Fun place to eat!

Overpriced Mexican food. $13 for a chicken quesadilla? There were no tacos under $10. Margaritas were good. Staff was great. Ambiance was on point. But it was just regular Mexican food.
