Have you ever had a place where people know who you are and treat you like close friend? The Faust Brewing Company is that for New Braunfels. They re like Cheer without a roof. There is an area inside but why? Everyone is outside enjoying the great music. There s a guy that plays polka music and he s really entertaining. Did I really just say that? His name is Alex something and he is entertaining. I wish I could have his energy. My wife s favorite time to go to the Faust Brewing Company is Sunday after church. There are plenty of shady spots to sit outside and the service is really quick. That s all four star kinda stuff but what makes this place five stars is the gal there named Rebecca. She makes me and my wife laugh every time we re there. I hope this review helped you understand what this place means to NB. And I hope to see some new faces there.

What a uniquely designed building!! Absolutely love that it s a keg and that they ve got the tasting room (and patio for our pups). We just got a flight to share which was fun to sample some different beers! We didn t order food ourselves this time but the food truck s large tater tot appetizer looked fantastic at the table next to us so we ll be back to order that for sure! :)

I love your location! its chill, Good vibes, great bartenders Top Notch bartender Amanda is freaking friendly and inviting but the hours that you have bands playing arent so great. How about from 5 till 11:00 or 6:00 to 12:00 am, personally music is what draws the customers in, so Im really hoping this changes.. Thanks!

I don t normally give bad reviews, but this place got three strikes. 1. Took forever to take our order (normally forgivable) 2. Kept my husbands card when they started a tab. Denied they had it until the manager addressed it. 3. Lastly, I GOT FOOD POISONING! Their German fries ruined me before I even left the restaurant.- this is written same day Please just be careful with their food.

Beautiful outdoor brewery, but upon arrival no one greeted you or assisted on how to order drinks and food. The only person that was nice was the male bartender. The person inside the food truck seemed to be in a bad mood; being asked questions seemed to have bothered him. Maybe come at another time.

Giving it 5 stars for the venue (beer garden) and the band. Texas Tide, the band was excellent a must see. Heavy on Buffett, but this was a Buffett themed event. I dont think they anticipated the crowd and were overwhelmed. The regulars I spoke to said they usually operated like a well oiled machine. Oh, and the food and beer selection was awesome....get there early.

Come for the very good beer and friendly atmosphere. Stay for the Ruben. It is an authentic deli style experience. Thick cuts of pastrami, mildly sweet sauerkraut and the perfect marble rye bread. Smart decision doing the Thousand Islands dressing on the side. Shrimp tacos were ridiculous. And dont get me started on the seasoned fries. Worth the 20 minute roadie from San Antonio. We are now regulars.

We stopped to have a quick beer over the weekend. All the beers we sampled were great. The stout by far was one of the best we have had. So good we extended the stay to have another. The tater logs were delicious. It wasnt busy when we were there but everyone on staff we talked to were happy and more than willing to chat and answer questions. We will be back.

Nice place but not much parking. You have to park on the street. The sitting area is nice but hot. Not very much shade. I suggest you bring your own umbrella or arrive early to get one of the few shades spots. The bad was nice but we only stayed for 1 drink because of the lack of shade. The drinks were ok. Mixed drinks lacked a little flavor. We will return to try them again.

Way too hot and hardly any shade here. We were one of the lucky few to get an umbrella and the wind kept blowing it around and knocking it down. Waitress was very busy with many other tables. After one beer we paid and left to go somewhere with shade and better service.

Just visited Faust Brewing Co. Wow! We took our out of state visitor here for an experience of the New Braunfels area. It was first time for us too. Very NICE family owned brewing company. The food was crazy good, the draft beers from their home brewing was fantastic! The decor was very tasteful.they have live entertainment! We love Faust Brewing Company!! We will definitely go back a lot. Oh yes ask for Frankie, she s a cutie for sure.

Nice little brewery, very crowded for the grand reopening today. The staff were running constantly and doing a great job but it did seem a tough it was more than they planned for. They definitely need another door on the back of the building as an exit out of the bar. One door with a tiny hallway to enter and exit the bar area not well thought out. Put in a door at the back door one way traffic through the bar. The sound system needs a little help as well. Sitting halfway back in the beer garden and we could barely hear the bands. Small improvements needed. Overall a nice place with great potential.

Delicious, fresh beer! What really amazed me was they dont price gouge you $6-7 a beer like most other breweries. It was $2.50 for draft and $9 for a 6-pack carryout. I certainly will be back!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Staff is rude and can only do one thing at a time. Finally got sick of bartender s rudeness and left. Complained every time we ordered a beer that we were interrupting him by placing an order. The atmosphere is terrible and the beer not much better. Great beers and $4 margaritas on Monday. One guy (Adam) manning the bar and floor. Good service, beautiful decor, ~6 TVs, amazing German food. Best Reuben in town! Ahi tuna and Wellington were also very tasty. Delicious and DIRT cheap beers. This is a great place! What else could you ask for?!

Stopped in for dinner on a business trip to New Braunfels. The brewery is on the premises of the Faust Hotel. I tried the flight of homemade beers and the Reuben sandwich that was recommended. The beer sampling was good and most had good flavor. See details below. The sandwich was very good with the house made Russian dressing being the kicker. The place seemed a little dark for a brewery. Overall, I recommend it. Polka Pilsner - tasty, but not memorable. No aroma at all; like a domestic light beer, but more flavorful. Good. Uncommon Valor - medium Amber color, smooth and clean finish. Enjoyable and drinkable. Not heavy but very good. Bucket Brigade - almost indistinguishable from Valor. Good, but could use some hops! Orange Honey Wheat - seasonal brew. Cant find the honey and no real notes of a wheat beer. Good, but unremarkable.

OMG this is the coolest little bar ever! First timer here and had a BLAST. FANTASTIC service, super friendly bartender, VERY attentive to her patrons, extremely clean... yard, tables, bar, bathrooms. EVERYTHING! They even have a doggy bowl and toys for fido.. the band wholly smokes they rocked the house. The band, Highway Hypnosis is their name, they played amazing. I will definitely be returning here. The atmosphere was spot on and just what I needed.

First and foremost the brewing company is no longer located at the Faust hotel. It is located nearby at 499 S Castell Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130. They have a really nice outdoor patio area with large picnic table style seating, indoor seating at the bar, and also indoor seating in the hangar right alongside the brewing equipment. Their beer selection/variety is good, and the staff are VERY knowledgeable about what the have on tap. If you are looking for a certain style of beer, ask them and they can probably find one to suit your taste. They will also give free tastes if you are not sure before purchasing one. Great local business show them your love folks!
