I enjoy coming here, the atmosphere is great and I love the fact that it is 21 and over. The owner/bartender is very attentive and makes good conversation with all the guest. Drinks are alwaytop-notchch, and food is good too.

I LOVE this place! My sister in law recommended and it did not disappoint. Not only were the drinks amazing but the service was so good and the owner, Jenn, made a point to get to know my friend and I and made our time here feel like home. The crowd was fun and friendly! came here for the first time just to try it out and i just found the new hangout spot!!! forgot to take pics of the pizza because we ate it so fast but it was AMAZING! our bartender (and the owner) jennifer was an absolute pleasure to talk to, and served us some super tasty drinks. i will be back asap and i recommend everyone give it a try!! and even better, there s live music every thursday and friday starting around 6-7pm!!!! also all the glassware & plates are thrifted so it s super cute and sustainable!!!! Unexpected lil charming oasis. It s decorated super cute (lots of velvet paintings, pretty light fixtures, and a matador theme throughout ) and seems to have standard beer & liquor offerings. Cute backyard/patio. My favorite features: the early 50 s jukebox, fresh flowers throughout, and the bartender brought us a little plate of snacks to go with our beers. I highly recommend coming here for a fun, chill time with a few friends.

YES to Our Lady! Much respect to Jennifer (the owner), who worked her rear-end off when over 40 of us showed up for a Happy Hour yesterday! Id planned with Jennifer nearly a month in advance for around 25 or 30, hoping folks would RSVP. Well, they did - and then some more folks showed up. No doubt, because the weather was superb and perfect for this great indoor/outdoor venue. The drinks were top-knotch. Jennifer even comped us a couple of great pizzas and some toasted raviolis...yum! HIGHLY recommend Our Lady. As a small business owner, I KNOW what its like to work hard with very little thanks. Jennifer gives it her all. Along with Kim (cocktail waitress) and the small, but spunky kitchen staff, they all REALLY went above and beyond to make our Happy Hour the happiest. THANK YOU, JENNIFER...YOU ROCK! Vegetarian options: Pizzas were great. Salads too.

Avoid like the plague. Their weirdest experience. I m local and this place was on my list of places to try, but the people and vibes were so weird. First of all their hours don t match when they re actually open?? This is common in town, but still makes it hard to try new places. The people in here were just rude from the start. Out of all the places you can spend a couple bucks for a drink- go somewhere else. The people here ruined it for us.

If you are looking for an atmosphere that is as close to walking into a bar/grill that is so similar to Cheers this is the place to call home! In addition to indoor/outdoor accomodations for dining or indulging there is shuffleboard and musical entertainment throughout each month(tba.) Many regular patrons are accustomed to being greeted by name as Jennifer, the owner, is already reaching for their fav adult beverage! I highly recommend you visit this quaint location in Greune where I am positive from my experience that you will be pleasantly surprised by both the menu and comaraderie that you will enjoy!

I visited this establishment while visiting New Braunfels the bar was very clean and staff was very friendly the bar was well stocked with the best liquor. Friends live nearby and had always driven by, wanting to stop in. Cool look outdoors, church appearance and name, funky signage. Inside, quite a rude awakening. Quite literally RUDE. The bartender, an older woman made a point of not acknowledging anyone in our party, instead continuing to chat with the 2 other patrons at the bar. We waited about 10 minutes then she reluctantly took our drink orders. Her demeanor was the worst I d ever seen. Friend ordered vodka tonic and got flat white soda from a 2-liter bottle that had dust on it. It was flat and flavorless. Inside is grimy and lifeless. Place look like it needed big repairs and updates. Empty even though it was late Saturday afternoon. Left after one drink. Driving away, we were trying to figure out why this woman seemed intent on driving the place into the ground. I m sure there s a reason. Depressing and awful.

I traveled with my wife from Monterrey Mexico to San Antonio on vacation and on my visit to Gruene 3 weeks ago and we visited the place and I especially loved the personal attention of a very friendly lady (I think she is the owner), she suggested some pizzas to us And to my surprise the menu was handmade, which I liked because I felt in a relaxed and very friendly atmosphere. The pizza was very tasty, homemade flavor, unfortunately the time we were there was very short but I found out about the good atmosphere in the patio. On the next trip I will try to stay longer and choose a weekend to enjoy the good atmosphere. Prices: very adequate, Atmosphere: relaxed and very friendly Attention: Excellent Jose Luis

12/17/22 my adult family went to dinner and decided to have an after dinner cocktail at Our Lady. Very nice bar and grill. However, the bartender (which I believe is the owner) was extremely rude to my son s wife!!! They had just walked in and accidentally kick the tip bucket so she picked it up to put out of the way. The bartender was extremely rude and said I m not serving her she looks like shes had too much already. Nobody had not even a sip of alcohol that evening!!! The isn t the first time she s been rude for no reason! I will never and I mean never take my out of town family there again!! Not even my local friends and family!

This place is very cool, inside and out. However, the owner was abrasive and not at all welcoming. We first asked if they had draft beers, and her response was a lecture on how unsanitary draft beer is, so only bottled beer. Asked if she could make a Bloody Mary, got another lecture on how everyone s taste is different so no bloody Mary s. Asked if they had margaritas, she proceeded to make one, and put it on the bar in front of us. We did not order a margarita, just asked a question. Ended up ordering 2 simple mixed drinks and a bottle of beer and were also charged for the margarita, which was awful. Giving three stars because the place is really nice and has a lot of potential, without the sour lady.

Just outside Gruene this off-set bar and grill takes their flavors seriously. Inside may be small-esque but it opens up very well. Very nice, comfortable chairs, well decorated, plants all over, great atmosphere, long bar with an open back yard with plenty of outdoor seating. Music throughout, yard games, shade, lights and even a stage, this place is definitely bigger than it looks from the road. If you love spicey, I challenge you to give their spicy drinks or even jalapeño cheesecake a try. Packing a flavorful punch you can taste the fresh, light and homemade zest of their mixers. Most definitely refreshing and great time of year to be in a setting such as theirs. The owner was most welcoming, warm, informative and can pour a mean drink. We had engaging conversation and man does she know her taste buds, just look at the menu. Well have to return to try out more of what they have to offer, even if it is a limited menu.

This is a total dive bar. We visited a few times and it seems like its almost always full of regulars that are on the first name basis with the bartender. Thats really cool but there needs to be something else to pull us in. Theres a slight stink in the place that has been there both times that weve visited. Maybe theres a sewer of line somewhere near the property and they just happen to be downwind. Not really sure. On this particular visit I ordered a margarita. It was really bad. I only drink half of it which, if you know my drinking habits, tells you everything you need to know. Unless you already know the bartenders name or have a group of friends that youre going to hang out with who are regulars I would probably move on to another place.

So the place looked like a good place to get lunch. I was in work truck and pulled in started to back up an park and noticed a sign on door said opens at 3... stated to leave and a lady came running out taking pictures. Lovely and quirky bar with some gourmet food. I saw someone mention it was a Cheers type bar, and they were spot on. Cocktails are top notch, and a good beer selection, although no taps. This is a cute cool bar in a great location went a few years back when I lived in S A and love it. Happened to be back in town for business went Yesterday the service was horrible. Before I wrote a review of this place, I wanted to make sure I wasnt totally mis-reading the OWNERS persona. After reading so many negative One-Star reviews, its obvious that she is a true Jekyll & Hyde. My guest and I stopped in for a few cocktails, as we were touring thru Gruene for the day, having a truly great time. We were into our second cocktails & my guest was beginning a conversation with another couple next to us. The OWNER rudely stepped in and asked my guest to return to her seat at the Bar and discontinue the great conversation she was having with the other couple. The other couple BTW appeared to be having a great time with the conversations for about 10 mins. I guess this OWNER thinks its her job to determine who can have a conversation with who. Theres a word for that kind of OWNER, but she already knows what it is, as she is such! To say the least, I quickly paid up and we left due to the OWNERS shocking behavior and absolute rudeness. What a shame for such a POTENTIALLY great place to be owned by such as schizophrenic psyco. Be careful going there and watch for the Jekyll & Hyde show to begin.......

Fun and cool place to eat and drink a couple of adult beverages. The owner is super nice and the regulars call it cheers you know where everyone knows your name. They have a rotating menu and a few standards menu item you can always get. The jukebox is super cool its a quarter a song and it plays vinyl records. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. My love and commitment to this space is far greater then just the friendships I ve made. Would have loved to be able to review and experience if I wasnt turned away before I barely walked in the door. The bartender aggressively and rudely informed us they were at capacity before my other half even made it inside the place.There was about 5 people sitting at the bar and everything else was completely open. Im assuming she thought we were tourists and didnt want our business, or maybe she was just dealing with menopausal hot flashes . Do not waste your time! The lady behind the bar was not kind or welcoming. We walked in and left 2 minutes later after the bar tender made it very clear that she was only open for locals and didn t want any tourists in there. Now I know why every other restaurant/ bar In the area had at least 1 hour wait and this establishment had 3 cars in the parking lot. I would recommend spending your money else where

Rudest place in New Braunfels!!! A group of us were about to walk in and they said they wouldn t serve us because a few of us ladies were putting a little lotion on in the parking lot They were so rude, we were all taken aback! I wandered into this place on June 20th to grab a couple of Margherita pizzas for my vegetarian wife and daughter as the rest of my family was enjoying some take out bbq. The pizza was great, my wife and daughter were very pleased. I later had a slice for an evening snack and I too thought it was a great slice of pizza. It is Neapolitan style pizza (thin crust) that is true to the real deal. I only tried the pizza so I cannot attest to the rest of the menu but I would have given it another chance if we had been around longer. I do want to point out that I had a beer while waiting on my pizzas and struck up a conversation with Jennifer and Bobby, the owners. I can honestly say that if the pizza had simply been average I would have still returned because of Jennifer and Bobby. They were both engaging, easy going, genuine people to talk with. I very much enjoyed the 20-25 minute conversation/interaction I had with both of them. I highly recommend this place as an alternative to the busy downtown Gruene restaurants.

Tried to eat here on Saturday. The kitchen was closed at 7:00 p.m. due to a locust infestation the day before. Apparently all the food was eaten by the locust the day before so they decided to shut the kitchen down early on Saturday which didnt really make sense.

This is definitely my happy place. I ve lived in San Antonio for 6 months and visit Gruene here and there and this is a MUST stop in for us ever since we discovered it. A unique building with all the yard games that a kid or adult could want + an outdoor stage for that live music fix we all need. AND service is top notch from the moment we walked in as newbies. Shame...their drink menu and bar seems great. The service leaves so much to be desired. Clearly they arent interested in serving anyone but regulars. The server/bartender were only interested in their friends. We sat before several people but the others were served first. Their menu was a hand-written piece of paper and varied wildly from whats was pictured online. Really cute outdoor area, but my husband and I wont be back.

I was staying nearby and looking for a place with a neighborhood feel to grab a drink and dinner. This was the perfect choice. Jennifer was great, as were the drinks and pizza. Its a nice spot , not really my type of bar. Its right outside of the gruene area. Its a bit pricey as you can imagine. Or at least what we ordered was. Its kind of a fancy spot with cheese and olives. A lot of women like were there. I had a bit of sticker shock when I closed my tab 50$ for 3 drinks with a tip. We both agreed that we like a different crowd . But that being said its a really chill spot. Felt like I was in my back yard under our pergola. The music was kind of old School classic jams. It was a relaxing , comfortable spot. They had a food menu but we just got done eating so we didnt look at it.

Great local bar! Jennifer the owner is an amazingly eclectic woman- many interests and awesome character. Well run establishment. Terri our waitress and color commentator was on point with incredible dry wit and saucy welcomed humor. If you can t take a good dose of humor and local reviews, probably not your kind of place. But if you have fun talking and learning about local folks, this IS your place. Food was super. Coleslaw was great mix of fruit, bitters and vinegar. Beans and sausage perfectly balanced.

I adore places that have games like corn hole and shuffleboard, something to keep conversation light and a comfortable way to make new friends. Our Lady has the lights and ambiance to boot. My first time here, it was picked as the locale for the NB Jaycees most recent mixer. Everyone had a great time and there was plenty of space to social distance. The bar staff was quick and attentive, great for a younger crowd but I imagine the 80s style jukebox brings patrons of all types any day of the week. Parking seemed packed at first but there is overflow on the backside. Great feel, chill vibes.

This bar is a hidden gem in New Braunfels. Love that it is just for Adults 21 and over. Food is great and beer is ice cold! And if you are looking for the best margarita this is the place for you! Love this place. Drinks are good. Ice is close to sonic ice and I love it. Food so far has been great. I really like the pizza. I also had an opportunity to walk through the kitchen and as a person who has been in a lot of kitchens due to my occupation. This is the cleanest kitchen i have ever seen.
