Worst audio system ever, we reserved the Gym for a community event, we had our doubts about the audio system and repeatedly asked the management to fix the issues, we were assured the the audio system will be fixed, we had around 30 kids from ages 4 - 18 years old who was practicing to perform in the event from last 8 weeks. We were able to start the event without any issues, sound system gave up in middle of the performance and doesn t work, no body could do anything about it. Poor kids they worked so hard and the day they want to perform this happened. Any parent that is reading this post can understand what I am talking about. Worst part is no one is accountable for this mistake in the community center. That is all I can say about the issue. Other than this issue, I only have good things about this community center. Interesting community building. A nice mix of history from the buildings origin to being a shared space for use by the community. Theres a small library and multiple large rooms for meetings. It is frequently used as a voting location for Collin County.

This is city of Murphys community center. We went there to cast our vote. Nice and clean facility. It contains gym and a small library. Sometimes organises events of low volume.

Lots of interesting Murphineans here. Still lots of blue hairs, but we are slowly seeing some younger people volunteering their time. Parking is plentiful even if the Aisiatic model SUV owners still havent quite figured out the nuances of pull in centered parking. Nice green space proportions and the proper utilization of shrubbery make for a pleasant experience. Concrete walkways show signs of recent maintenance and very little exhibits of shifting or damage. While speeding is nigh on impossible within the tight confines, a taxation agent in usually not far off,as this is across from their pen. Other nefarious denizens of the city are also nested on the opposite side of the road, but occasionally can be located here as well, generally more so during the political mating season. Masks are required, head covers less so. Non marking soles are required sonetimes and requested generally. Wood floors are expensive.

I came here to vote. There were signs both around the building and inside directing where to go. There was no wait and the process was easy and streamlined. Covid-19 safety precautions were taken. The ladies were nice, encouraging, and helpful, making my first time voting a good experience!

Nice clean, safe center with great service. Gym, activity rooms, meeting rooms, common areas with books and games. Anyone can join with a significant discount for residents and older people. Kind, helpful staff makes you want to visit again.

I dont frequent this place. I was there to vote. Murphy is a nice town; I like it. The Community Center seemed very nice, clean/safe and right in line with the rest of Murphy. Id go there again to vote, or for other activities, if I still lived out that way.

I did a presentation to the ISC2 chapter of Dallas and wanted to say that their infrastructure for presentations is really good. The guest wifi is fast, the facility is super clean and the stuff very friendly.

Divine Tabernacle Church hosted Toys for Tots at Murphy Community Center in Murphy, TX. This is a great location to host different events. I enjoyed volunteering at the 1st annual Toys for Tots in Murphy Community Center.

The historic old Murphy School renovated into offices, meeting rooms, and a gym with a stage. Used for local community classes and events, and as an official polling place. Parking can be a challenge for peak events but generally sufficient.

I help throw a baby shower here and they are very accommodating and they were awesome. It was beautiful its suitable for any kind of meeting or get together. I think they also have some workout equipment there and things like that Im not sure though I would check the website. I just know that its a really nice building and I would love to go there on a semi daily basis.

Its nice we have something, but I wish it were more than just a gymnasium and some event rooms. I was really hoping for some weights, treadmills, etc. Would have been a great alternative to the lifetime fitness that is expensive, and much closer to me than oak point or the Wylie center.
