Establishment laid false allegations of theft on a customer- proceeded to post on their FB page and local I love Conroe FB page photos of customer and their vehicle/license plate stating they stole merchandise tagging post #shoplifting #makeherfamous. Completely humiliated this person falsely, with far reach in community. Offered meager public apology telling them they are welcome to shop there. No thanks Lake Conroe Ace Hardware- I wont be patronizing your establishment as this is how you treat your customers.

Ace associates are consistently helpful, knowledgeable, and seem to be happy with their jobs, all of this is not commonly found these days. I shop at the Lake Conroe Ace Hardware on 105. Easy to access, easy to park, pleasant shopping.

Love this Store and go there because of the Music they play and their great service and products. Went into the store today on 30th Aug at 6:00 and asked the young Employee nicely why the music wasn t playing. The employee was rude and didn t answer me , so I said it again and the older gentleman said they shot it . I replied shot it then they continued to laughed . Not the answer I wanted to hear and thought it rude . Then as I walked away to leave they had something to say to each other and went yeh and laughed. These yahoos don t need to be at registers that s for sure . Always loved the store but now I don t know .

The staff is always ready to help you as soon as you walk in the door. I like the big box hardware stores, but this place is a quick easy stop without walking miles to get what you need, and you always have someone nearby for asking questions.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Even during their busy 100th anniversary celebration, associates were ready to offer help and follow through. We bought a Traeger grill that was marked down, but still higher than the online offer, but when talking with the manager, the cost was immediately cut to accommodate. Associates were available immediately to help load in vehicle as well.

On 5/11/2024, I had some keys made and purchased another product. And guess what? The keys work! Unfortunately, I left the master key at Ace Hardware but realized it about an hour later. Called Ace, they said yes, it was there. Sure was relieved to get my master key back! Thanks Ace.

We moved to the Montgomery and Lake Conroe area about a year ago. Before we moved, we shopped at Alspaughs Ace in The Woodlands. It is a great store. I really wish I could say the same about Ace Lake Conroe, but I cant. Recently, they have enlarged, but the inventory could be better. On a recent trip to purchase drywall hangers, they did not have any packages, only single items. I asked and was told that was all they carried. On another trip to buy a disposable insert for my Treager grease drain. Out of stock. Set screws for a lamp post did not have, I had to go to Jims Hardware, I needed some disposable latex gloves I was told they did not carry. But I looked anyway and found what I needed in the paint department. Once again, I needed some moving rollers to move a metal garage cabinet. I checked the store website, and it showed they had four in inventory. But when I arrived at the store, I was told they sold them a week earlier. I looked anyway and found them. I showed the clerk & was told, Sorry, I was thinking of something else. I love Ace, just not the Lake Conroe Store.

I called the store today to see if Ace could make a replacement key for my Jeep Renegade. David took my information, asked for a picture of the key, and he told me he would get back to me. He didnt have the key in stock, so he called his usual locksmith. He didnt have the key in stock, so he called another place that said they could replace my key. He called to give me the information for the other business. Not long after, his usual locksmith, Kands Lock and Key, called to let me know that they were in the area and had found the key I was looking for. They came to my house and made the key right there in my drive. The fact that David with Ace went out of his way to help me and recommended a fantastic locksmith when he couldnt provide the service makes me proud to be a member of the Montgomery community. The level of professionalism of both parties was stellar. Thank you!

I am continually amazed at how much they pack into this store from hardware to lawn and garden, power tools . While the Big Box stores carry a lot more options in each category, I find Ace focuses on carrying high quality products. While not always the cheapest on list price, between their customer loyalty program and savings coupons they give out often when you check out, I feel I am even or saving $$$ over the BB stores. Plus, you can get in and out in minutes saving me hours & gas vs a frustrating drive down 105. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. Between Ace and McCoys for lumber, etc. I find everything I need locally.

I love this little store. When you dont have the time or the patience or the energy to attack one of the big box stores and you just want to roam the aisles and get all the help you need, this is the place. They have pretty much everything you need, a little more expensive than Lowes or Home Depot but well worth it for the convenience and getting lots of expert help. And they can mix up paint here from their Sherwin-Williams line and others just as well as the other guys.

Great store. There is a gift section for where you can find a gift for any occasion. They have spirit shirts for the local schools. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. These guys have a great little store with best in class employees! They are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I purchased my new Traeger pellet grill from them a couple months ago. They delivered it to my home for free! Not once but twice because the first one had a fault which was truthfully not on them but the manufacturer. Without hesitation on a Sunday afternoon they were out with a replacement unit and hauled away the defective unit! They actually saved my brisket cook because of their incredibly fast response so I have no problems recommending these guys! I will definitely be back despite having other options closer to my home. WARNING **Now for a bit of a rant** I have read some other reviews on these guys where people are complaining over them not requiring the use of face mask... First and foremost it is NEVER governments responsibility nor their right to require such a thing. They can recommend you wear a mask but Ill be damned if Im going to be told to. I also wouldnt expect someone else to wear one if I wanted them to. That is an individuals decision. If you feel it is in your best interest to wear such a thing then more power to you. I have no problem with it. Not that its anyones business in the slightest but for me wearing a face covering has negative impacts on my health and I flat out will not wear one as a result. In closing I will say one last thing... For those who think the face mask is effective in preventing the spread of viruses. Please read the disclosure on the side of a box of medical grade face mask. You will find that they were never intended for that purpose and further research will reveal that a medical grade face mask will not even come close to stopping a virus from passing right through it. Can we say false sense of security...

Just stopped in here on a whim looking for tools for my husband and the customer service is phenomenal they had exactly what I needed and theyre open until 8:00 which makes it great for people getting off work super super good people super nice store!
