i dont write bad reviews often, but this one is warranted and i fully expect her friends to come and review after this to drown out this one, please sit back and watch. we hired her for a professional photo and drone video session of one of our high end projects. this was obviously for marketing during a very busy season that we have now missed. not only was she extremely late, she only shot for 14 minutes of what was supposed to be a 45 minute session. (her drone died at the session was ended) i did question this and she said she felt she captured enough. on top of this, she had the audacity to tell my client that her husband does landscape lighting when she was in fact shooting lighting for me, an electrical contractor. fast forward almost three weeks, she sends the video and photos (that were promised to us in a couple of days) and as expected they were haphazardly done, as waste of all of our time. we can do nothing with the images and now need to start over after the holidays. this is especially disappointing because we sent her a previously shot video, for reference. this was pretty painful for our small business and we will never understand how someone who came so highly recommended could fall so short. it almost felt like it was intentionally sabotaged. why? we will never know. as a small business owner time and money are very scarce, i would have expected a bit more consideration of both.

We had a wonderful experience working with Nicki!! She was responsive, timely, and captured our wonderful family just perfectly. We have a young son and I was impressed with how she kept him engaged while capturing his personality! Would definitely recommend her for your photography needs.

This lady is phenomenal!! We had tried for years to get our family together for an elusive family portrait since our grown children were all in different places so we had to get creative with scheduling. Nicki was AMAZING and so flexible and accommodating and listened to everything we had in mind and they turned out so great!! Give her a call if you need some perfect pics she is a treasure and so talented!

Best ever!!! She took fantastic photos of my 12 year old son with shelter animals for Houston Family Magazine, She was willing to meet in a location convenient to me, she had great suggestions on finding the perfect place to take the photos , and super friendly ! She will be who I will choose for any future photo needs :)

What can I say about Nicki, she is an amazing photographer. She captured every special moment of our big day. She kept in contact with me before the wedding, checking on how everything was going, (i was soo nervous about last min complications) but she keep reassuring me that Everything was going to be ok. I mean who does that right? Only ppl like her, cause she loves what she does and it shows on her beautiful work. Im literally obsessed with our pics, they are beautiful and I cant stop looking at them. Oh and her friend is amazing as well. Thank you for Everything.

Hearts & Lens Nicki Gaylord recently completed a family photo shoot for us in the Grand Marion Woodforest subdivision. The family was comprised of 8 adults, 5 toddlers (2 sets of twins 4 and under and a 19 month old)! I cannot express how delighted we all were with the photos taken. She took some indoors (due to the heat) but also accomplished some truly heartfelt and sweet photos taken outside. Nicki even held the fussy 19 month old while taking photos outside. We cannot thank you enough for your kindness and patience. I would highly recommend Nicki Gaylord from Hearts & Lens. Margaret & James
