My wife and I were excited to try a new place on a date night. We wanted good bar food where we could enjoy some college football. We sat at the bar and our bartender seemed annoyed from the start. She told us we had taken someone else s seat even though there was no one there and an empty glass next to us. The service went down from there. Our bartender continued to seem annoyed by us being there and only took our drink order. We had food menus in front of us, but she never once asked if we wanted to order food (we did want to). Then she disappears and we finally had to ask another bartender for our check. Truly have not had such a bad experience in years. Needless to say we left to go enjoy a meal at a place we know to have great food and great service. We will never go back to this place.

Saw on Maps and thought Id watch a baseball game. Went early to see if they had out of market MLB and bartender wouldnt even check to tell me for sure if they could carry the game. Never felt more unwelcome at a sports bar. Didnt stay (obviously) but menu they had out seemed very limited. With oily 1 other patron in the middle of a Saturday Im guessing local fans dont frequent it either

Great! Love coming here. My son always asks to go to get the giant pretzel. Great atmosphere - music bingo is a lot of fun

Don t waste your time trying this place. Maybe during the day it s ok, idk. Three times Ive tried to visit here its been closed or closing at least an hour before their posted times. Such great potential here but just a rude bartender and weird that they wont stay open until their posted hours. Oh and not late, hours say till 10 and theyre closed at 9:10. Hopefully someone will open a decent bar in this area soon.

So I have only been here a few times and it was to visit a friend who worked here briefly. They seem to have a good selection of drinks. It is also a pretty cool place in an up and coming neighborhood. If you want a drink at a good spot I would say check it out.

My boyfriend and I found this gem of a bar!! We went last saturday and had the pleasure of being served by Victoria, she was so sweet and had a great attitude!! I love her recommendations on drinks and food and I can t wait to go back! Also found out they do trivia on Tuesdays and am super excited to go to see what thats all about!! 10/10, also the bar chairs are so comfy!!

Spicy chicken sandwich oh so yummy, might be a new favorite! Comes with fries and I added a Makers Mark old fashion with it. Good tunes in this place, get a trike and lets make this a pub crawl location! Ok so yummy its like a crispy fried but thin kind more healthy then super battered, with a coleslaw and pickles with a special sauce....bro when served its warm from chicken and cool from slaw, Im telling you. .....this is the way! New photos of the Philly cheese steak with jalapeños! New item is: fried pickles, Triple 6 amber beer, paired with a Blackhouse Signature. Good start to finish good time snack!

My husband and I went this evening for this first time and it was so nice. Staff was so friendly we loved that Beerforest is family friendly. There was a musician tonight who had an incredible voice and the song choices were equally as fantastic. The food and drinks were . Not a thing we didn t enjoy. We also met so many sweet neighbors being up there. We can t wait to enjoy another evening on the patio.

Nice local bar. 35 beers on tap and 35 bottles and cans. Various liquor and wine. I was there at about 5. Older crowd like me. Some food specials. No real beer specials were offered. Only pints. No big beers. Prices are about $5. Not sure about imports. Wednesday specials are whiskey. I think they were $5. I was there to have beers. Ill probably come back and see if service improves. It was a little slow. Of course I wasnt a regular. Still a nice place.

I really enjoyed Beerforest, the staff are great with a perfect atmosphere. I think they could use some more small tables in the open space. Other than the tables, I think the pub is a great addition to Woodforest.
