The food is incredible. Cant say enough about that. Really. Amazing food. Its fantastic. And absolutely reasonably priced. Service is good. The place is packed so they cant be as attentive as youd like, and be sure to check the bill to make sure its right, but with a place that busy its to be expected. ITS LOUD. VERY VERY VERY LOUD. Hard floors and nothing to dampen the sound means its hard to have a conversation. So maybe not the best for date nights. The quality of the food and the prices mean its packed. 20-30 min wait times are not unusual.

I don t want to give this 4 Star cause the server was sooo nice to us but when I was almost done with my sushi roll I noticed an small bug on my plate I only had like 2 pieces left and I didn t even finished it honestly and we told the server and she apologized and took it out of our check which was really nice of her. She had such great costumer service

We ve been eating here since we moved to Sienna 5 years ago and their hibachi items are SO good! Its not over cooked and always fresh. Love that they include veggies with their food thats still crispy and not soggy. Their sushi on the other hand is just ok and not as fresh, but their hibachi is 100!

Wow, was hoping for a great sushi night but this place was a letdown. The smell when I walked in was a major red flag nothing like fresh sushi should smell. Gave it a shot anyway, but the rolls were mushy and the sashimi was definitely not top-notch. When I brought it up, hoping for maybe an apology or an offer to make it right, the manager was super dismissive and even a bit snippy. Total bummer. Service matters as much as the food, and both missed the mark here. Wont be back, and wouldnt recommend it.

Great Tasting Sushi. If you havent been, you have been missing out! I definitely recommend this restaurant (especially on the weekends for HH). They menu is very big so get ready to eat! We had the Pan Fried Gyoza with garlic sauce it was absolutely delicious. Nicely cooked with a tasty crisp. Must Try! The Shaggy Dog - Great recommendation and that spicy mayo just add that extra taste and flavor. The Las Vegas Roll - Great Tasting, cooked nicely, and the sauces complemented the sushi roll very well Yummy Yummy wasnt as yummy, but it wasnt bad. We will definitely be returning again! I tried this place twice. First time I ordered sushi and it was below average. Second time I ordered a chicken teriyaki bento box and received fish tempura. The fish was cooked well, but lacked flavor. The Tempura also lacked flavor and wasnt fried well. Only reason I didnt give the food 1 star is because the onion soup was okay, and the crab wontons were actually very good.

We have been trying out different sushi restaurant and so far sushi monster is our winner in regards to the quality and price. The service was amazing. The sushis were exceptionally good. We loved the firecracker roll and shaggy dog. The happy hour deal on weekends for sushi is what got us here on the first place.

This place is great, very fresh fish as it should be. We tried several different rolls and we quite pleased with all of them. It was quite quick to get our food as well, not fast food, but much quicker than other sushi restaurants. Presentation of the roll was also awesome. Will definitely be back again.

Everytime i come its a problem with the host, One time i came when they reopened and they are running in at the same time the store is opening very unprofessional, the next time i came the same hostess gave me the wrong change and this last time i come she continuing to ask me for two and when i confirm yes its yall close the kitchen at 9:15 but the store closed at 10pm.

I live in Sienna and discovered this place searching for sushi nearby and I m so glad I did! The atmosphere is very chill and our server (Ayoka I believe) was delightful! We got the sunshine roll twice, angel roll, seaweed salad, spring rolls, spicy garlic edamame, and hot sake! Everything was DELICIOUS! Prices are reasonable too! I will most definitely be back!!!

UPDATE!! They reached out to me after my review. That was very nice of the manager to do after that experience. They did give me my refund my order for the inconvenience. She was very nice and understanding of my complaint. _______________________________________ I m sorry but this use to be my fav spot, tonight was a disappointment. I ordered my friend some sushi and myself sushi, she was leaving and such an inconvenience, both of our sushis were in one container. You pay so much money for food and they are so cheap! They can t give the sushi rolls in their own container. It was a quantity of 2, and all in one container. I called to tell them the inconvenience, and their reason was that it was because it is easier for the chef. What in the world!? Is the chef paying?! Five star sushi is impossible to find in Texas. However, for Houston area, especially for the burbs, this was amongst the top three sushi experiences Ive had ...not to mention it was a takeout order! Ive gone out on a limb in rating both service and atmosphere (I prefer ambience, since the atmosphere remains uniformly ~78% nitrogen and ~21% oxygen, with a nit of argon and trace others most everywhere on Earth...at least everywhere Ive visited): I didnt eat in the restaurant, thus cannot speak reliably to either customer service or ambience. The food was tasty and fresh, generally. The house salads ginger dressing was ho-hum, and lacked both the crispness, kick abd crunch of other Japanese salads Ive had (Keepers, for instance, is far superior in that regard). I know well be back, and the next time were sure to eat in, so as to better appreciate the service and ambience. Thats all, folks!

Update 6/3/2023: We went in for lunch, and met an incredible server! Ellianna was wonderful! For only having been there a week, she was personable, articulate and just an absolute delight! Saturday and Sunday they do happy hour all day, and the food was amazing!! Quit sleeping on this place. I absolutely love this place! We ordered food to go. The owner knew my partner, and told him how she remembered him. Food was delicious! My only complaint is that we had no idea which roll was which. No matter, they were all fantastic. The garlic edamame are amazing!! The gyoza could have been crisper, however, we did pick it up to go, so Im owning responsibility for that.

I ordered here a lot and for a good majority of my orders it came out okay. I ve never had eel with bones before and the places I ve tried it from where on the west coast and when I lived in Japan. So, to me it was weird to see bones outside my rolls and it looked sloppy if that s how they served it. It makes me wonder if they are clean?! The last two times I ordered here in less than three weeks my three year old has had food poisoning. I can confirm as he only vomited the food he ate here, which he has had before months ago with zero issues. Last night I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and once again my son has been throwing up all morning with loads of diarrhea. You shouldn t see bones just on the outside of a roll. My son shouldn t be sick from food he s consuming here that is a major safety concern and they should be taking sanitation extremely serious. I m currently debating on seeing if my son gets worse to take him to the ER.

Worst place ever. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I got eel in my sushi.... Had 8-9 bones poke my throat. My waitress came by and told me that the sushi chef said its normal to have bones in your rolls .... So she doesnt know me...and thats okay.. but I eat sushi A LOT... (not usually cooked ones, I eat poke, sashimi, etc etc) I am not saying I am an expert at sushi culture.. However, I know what is a good sushi restaurant.... . and when someone is telling me its my fault I didnt enjoy the rolls because eating bones is normal... I mean thats terrible. Ok their back open kool beans everything taste great as usual, and a few menu changes, & the prices went up bit but not that outrageous, which I can understand, and I believe the staff is a big part of any business, but the portions seems to have went down on my usual which is the hibachi meals, which the soup and sald is to die for, but it was crowded with majority of call in orders, and the seating area was getting its busy on as well, but Ill charge it off as a oversight this time and I was just getting ready to take pictures of a nice above average size order but maybe next time, but if they had to cut the portions down Ill probably just start ordering something else, because I did see the sushi rolls coming out looking very well at other tables and the staff was superb as usual and I still tipped well as they do deserve with the great service but Ill still lean on the 5 star and call it a oversight, but please lets go back to regular on the portions, the hibachi meals were great as is, and I encourage others to take pictures of your meals, it does help with business of all establishments, and sushi monster lets continue to make pictures worth taking Vegetarian options: Plenty of fresh veggies and definitely get the salad they need to sell that dressing Parking: Parking is ok, its other business in area so it depends on time, Kid-friendliness: Plenty room for kids no noice issues Wheelchair accessibility: I use the handicap lane myself because of bad knee, never a problem

Like this place a lot. The prices for the sushi are pretty high. The sushi isnt really that creative. They use the minimal ingredients. I do like the crunchy roll. The atmosphere is very boring and quiet. I do like the hibachi although the food is somewhat bland. Its fresh though. The service is usually good. I enjoyed it the last time I went Andreas took good care of me. Very attentive and nice gentleman. Clean as well. I do recommend but not for groups or parties.

This was my first time trying this place. The staff was very nice. Despite the wait, Id go again. My issue is with the staples on the brown paper bags. Having worked in food before, I dont think its very safe to put staples anywhere near food. Thats just trouble waiting to happen. Other than that, the food was great.

I had the Lunch Bento Box shrimp tempura and added shrimp to the fried rice. Everything was amazing. Nice portion sizes for a lunch special. My waiter was very pleasant as well. This place is great and management is great. I had an issue with my delivery using Uber Eats, and when i called and explained the issue to the manager, Mr. Hahn, he took care of the issue immediately-- no questions asked. He took responsibility for the issue and remade my order correctly the next day and delivered it himself 30 minutes away. Not only was his above and beyond service incredible, but the sushi was incredible too!! Really good and really fresh. My girl and I were highly impressed with the taste and presentation. Aweful take out service. Missing 3 miso soups, katsu and teriyaki sauce, and incorrect rice; ordered one steam rice, not fried rice. Food was good though. When i went back to pick up the missing items, no apologies. Still gave me wrong soup and no teriyaki sauce.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC FOOD. Flavors are completely spot on from appetizers to soup, to rolls!! Since moving to Houston 18 months ago weve been hunting for a good sushi place. Weve been to several different places in Webster, Friendswood, Sugarland, Pearland, even downtown in search of good sushi and were left unimpressed UNTIL NOW! A true gem!

Friendly staff. Great to have down in sienna to give you something, but if you are choosing somewhere to go, I wouldnt recommend. Food does not taste fresh and most is kind of flavorless. The fried rice with the hibachi was disappointing. Some of the sushi is alright, but some has stale crispy bits and most is still low and flavor. Id give it 2 1/2 stars, probably.

Very convenient location for Sienna residents. Food is good and have good variety in the menu. Laid back restaurant with very attentive staff. Big bonus that you can order food for takeout that is properly stored so your sushi rolls are not damaged and maintain good presentation on the go. Highly recommend the Sunset roll for a refreshing flavor.

First time going and the food was great along with the service. Will definitely go back. I ordered the sashimi and sushi combo for $25. It came with miso soup and salad. Didnt get 5 stars becuz the tea was too sweet for my liking. Nice ambiance also.
