Worst customer experience ever at preston road Frisco location. I am a regualar shopper at Lowes for plants and tools. bought a holly tree early this year and it did not survive the summer. I mananged to bring it to the store to return it. It took customer service more than 45 mins to locate the item in their system. The customer service agent(veteran) had no respect for time and continued to serve other clients instead of focusing on locating the item. After I waited about 30 mins at the front desk, I told him I have a dog and sick mom waiting for me in the running car, he called the manger to help out. After the manager arrived, not helpful at all and just questioning. I have told the manager that this is taking way too long for returning an item and I have a dog and sick mom waiting in the running car. He simply said you told me already. After another 15 mins unsucessful attempt, he decided to give the store credit without tax. I know I paid more than that. So I took my phone out without my reading glasses, I had to scroll down my CC statement for a few months earlier this year on my phone to help them to narrow down the transactions(I had lots of lowes purchase transactions). The whole experience is not acceptable. Given veteran customer service agent being not respectable for time and the manager being inconsiderate, I will definitly avoid shopping lowes in the future.

Lowes does not care about the impression they leave on customers. A guy named Dave called me regarding payment for the installation of my floors. I gave him payment over the phone and somehow the payment went through twice. I asked him how he intended on fixing it and he yelled at me saying, Hold on! You keep asking me questions and I m trying to think ! I told him I was asking him questions because he kept putting me on hold and when he came back to the line, he had no answers. I said, Sir can you just go get someone to help you ? And he said, You know what, you can just dispute it through your bank for all I care, I don t have time for this expletive , and then hung up on my face. He swore at me then hung up on me. All because he doubled charged me for over $800 and I was explaining to him how he just put me in a financial bind and began questioning him about how he was going to fix his error. I was so upset I went to the Lowes location right away, stood at the Customer Service counter, and asked to speak to a manager. A manager walked up and just as I began to explain the situation, Dave walked up and said, I sure did ! His manager said, You hung up on her , and he said, Yep I sure did . He said this with his hands on his hips looking his manager and myself directly in the face as if he knew he d get away with it. The manager ushered him away and they ended up comping me a bunch of flooring and apologizing. But guess who still works there. Dave, he s still there. I went back in to buy a toilet and the same manager who apparently didn t recognize me, sent Dave to help who also didn t recognize me. I tried to walk away and said I didn t want his help because he was rude to me in the past, and Dave said, I ve never even met you before . Go figure. I guess when you re rude to so many people, all of their faces just become a blur. That was the last time I went to this Lowes and I won t go back.

Always a great place to stop by for home needs. People that work here are always very friendly and helpful, especially when compared to the other orange themed spot in town. Pickup is generally quick as well and the team goes above & beyond in delivering heavy items to your vehicle. The one downside is they allow a lot of solicitors both outside the store and inside. So you do get asked for money a lot. FWIW they are all reputable charities, but sometimes you just need to run and grab something. Overall, my go-to place for home needs.

My father, a retired US Military Serviceman, was treated rudely and despite giving his phone number for the military discount, was refused the discount. A sales person also tried to push more product than he wanted or needed. He is also a senior. I am furious that this is how Lowes treats our revered seniors and military veterans. SHAME on you!!!

Everyone in this store is super helpful and friendly. Im a new homeowner, and all this stuff is unfamiliar for me, but people at Lowes always help find things and explain how to use them. Even during busy weekends, someone in the aisle is always available. This store is much better than on in S McKinney. Super helpful people - Bill, Matt from Paint, Demond, Johnathan, and some others - I cant remember their names. I was able to do many repairs myself and painted the whole house without paying anyone thanks to these people.

We purchased a washing machine at Lowe s and after waiting it was delayed. Once is was delivered we found to be the wrong machine. I contacted the store and spoke to a couple of managers (actually they were supervisors). Their only answer was to bring the machine myself ($50 if they picked up plus the installation fee and a 20% restocking fee). I spent several hours just to get this. One Manager said his name was Chris. He was rude and says he is the highest level of management (i later learned there was not anyone working there named Chris) He said he was an assist and that the store manager cannot offer any other assistance. They will pick up the current washer in 2-5 days. I will be refunded 5-10 business days then wait for the refund which is another 5-10 business days if it is stock (in stock as they had 2 in stock when I purchased the machine). The machine was on sale when I purchased the machine but would now have to pay full price and if not in stock it can take up to 4-6 weeks until it is available again. I called again the next day and spoke to a worker (Al assistant manager) and he took no responsibility. He did say they could sell me the machine if I could prove it was on sale when I purchased it. I spent a couple of hours on the phone with them again today. I was hung up on several times on Wednesday night. We were told we should have verified it was the right machine while still at the store (tried to but was told in was in an off site warehouse). The response was that I should have checked it before we let them into the house. We have been loyal customers for over 25 years and have never seen such poor service. We will not be returning to this store, ever.

People working here have NO CLUE what they re doing. Tried to do a simple return and the cashier and manager were both insisting I have to pay a ridiculous restocking fee which the website never mentioned. I had a feeling they were just incompetent because whole process up to that point was already taking way too long. I took the item to a different Lowe s ten minutes away and my return was handled quickly and CORRECTLY with no mention of any restocking fees. Please train your employees how to do their jobs properly and stop wasting customer s valuable time and trying to steal their money.

Went to return a couple items, return desk on left right as you walk in, two returns counters, both had a customer, no one else waiting. I realized if I remained in line at the 1st return counter to the left, and anyone came in behind me we would start a traffic jam for customers entering the store. The clerk saw me move around to get out of the entrance, another customer came in stood where I was originally. She started helping him knowing full well I had been waiting. I stated the line was behind me, she immediately corrected me and said he was in the correct line. I promptly stated I didnt want it to be a problem and would be happy to let her help him first. She helped me anyways. Funny, when I was walking out the customers were 4 deep, a couple with carts, blocking the pathway for customers entering the building! This marks the last time I will ever shop at a Lowes as I refuse to lower my customer service expectations. No wonder Amazon is thriving!

Lowes survey had expired but needed to share experience. We ordered a washer and dryer online to be delivered when son moved to Frisco. That morning, only the washer was delivered, but the order online showed the delivery was complete. (Dryer was no longer available). We were certain that a fraud had been done to us. We immediately went to Lowes, Frisco, TX to sort out. The Manager (John Teel) was Amazing! He was calm and spent lots of time going through the online delivery notes. He was able to get a new comparable set delivered the next day and have the washer picked up. It was delivered minutes before we had to leave for the airport. Then after we got home, we noticed that the original order was not fully refunded. Called John again and he had the error corrected immediately. We don t know what we would have done if he was not involved. We appreciate his hard work and patience helping us with a problem his store was not the cause of. We thought, we had ordered the set through his store. Again, Lowes is very fortunate to have him working for them. Great person. Excellent customer service! Thank you John Teel!

** 6/19 I have had another excellent experience at this Lowes location and want to let Suzi know how much I appreciate her knowledge, time and customer-focused attitude. She was very helpful in selecting a window shade that we are very pleased with. She was responsive to all questions and called when she said she would. Also want to note that Clint, in customer service, was also very helpful in getting a timely resolution to the only minor issue we had. Both staff members exemplify the great customer service I have experienced at this Lowes location. I will be back. We were checking out at the Customer Service Desk on 3/13 and needed to schedule an installation of the item we were buying. Your associate, Demond, was extremely helpful in getting this set up. He had already clocked out but noticed that the associate working with us was having some difficulty with the software to do this, so Demond came over and worked with us until everything was set up and also explained all of the paper work and what would happen next. He truly went above and beyond!

I was there this morning around 9.30 looking to purchase and leaf blower and leaf vacuum along with a Wheelbarrow. I asked a few people where to find the brand I wanted and no one tried to even help me. Waited for 15 min walking around asking for help, but people were like not my aisle. Purchased a wheelbarrow and waited for the lady to open the key for 10 min. Guess they don t have a clue where the key is. So had to return it before I even took possession of it. Didn t know that they didn t want work or help customers. Poor service.

Was looking for Once n Done Armstrong Floor Cleaner and found the small spray bottle but couldnt find the large refill bottle. One of the associates helped me look all over the store to find the bottles which showed up on the computer but no one could find. Finally he looked in an unmarked box where they store inventory above the shelves and found the big bottles! Great effort! Was really happy because it turns out it is a concentrate and makes 64 gallons!! By the way, this stuff really works!

The appliance manager at this store is unprofessional and unethical. Had damage to dryer door during delivery and he logged it as damage to my garage door and had me reach out to their third party delivery service that they contract with. After being bounced around I find out the contracted company only deals with damages to the home or property. Now after contacting Lowes corporate I was told my claim is denied and I am stuck with a damaged dryer. The appliance manager actually recommended I file this as a warranty claim which is totally shady and unethical. After spending so much at Lowes I will now take my business elsewhere.

Absolutely HORRID, LAZY, and NONCHALANT Managers and Appliance Department technicians. Bought a $3600 refrigerator and installation. Called on April 29, 2024 at 6:50pm to check on the status of the installation, was forwarded to the Manager s line after 17 minutes of being on hold and cycling back and forth with customer service (due to no one in Appliances answering the phone - even though they were not busy and the technician was there just being lazy). Well, trying to reach the Manager proved to be worse. I was told that the manager paged and agreed to look into my issue. I was forwarded to his/her line and waited for 30 minutes without an answer. The customer service rep was exceptional and did his best to keep forwarding me back to the Manager - whom never answered. I wasted 57 minutes and still did not get my issue addressed. The laziness culture needs to stop. Really disappointed!

Needed a lawn mower. On Saturday Jason was extremely helpful. Very nice, kind and funny. If he didn t know the answer he researched and found the answer. Jason helped several of us at the same time. I ask specifically if they could put it together when it arrived. Their employees said no problem. Chair just arrived, called to see when I could bring it in, and an employee said they dont put together gliders. We went to Lowe s on Friday to price check 2 refrigerators and 2 washer dryer sets. The items were competitively priced, but then @Darlene Williaford told us they d had a Presidents Day sale going on and that we could also get a Pro Account to save money. She then brought over someone from the Pro Desk to help. Between them and another department manager they tried 3 different purchase combinations to save us money. Ultimately we saved about $750 on the overall purchase. The service and efforts to get us the best deal as well as setting us up with a Pro Account was excellent. We will definitely shop this Lowe s again!!

Was supposed to get a refrigerator delivery through them to the area. Got delayed two weeks at first. (EMAILED me the AFTERNOON before it was supposed to be delivered). Then the next time it was supposed to be delivered I was initially told it was okay for no one to be there, apparently that s not the case. So the delivery got delayed again. It was not only impossible to get a hold of Sam the delivery driver, but it was also impossible to get a hold of Jason the delivery manager who was supposed to call me back twice and did not do so. Jason was unable to get a hold of anyone with riverstone the logistics company who was supposed to deliver the refrigerator. So no one knows where the refrigerator is, Lowe s cannot get a hold of their own vendor, and the refrigerator is delayed yet again for another two weeks. DO NOT GET DELIVERY FROM LOWES

This shop is typical of most Lowes. The shelves are well organized and the staff are very helpful. The items seem to be well marked with their prices so theres no surprises at the cash register. They dont have a lot of checkouts so youre stuck with self checkouts. You do have plenty of parking.

I enjoy shopping at Lowes but their appliance delivery and installation service is nothing like the service I receive at the retail location. I had to return two seperate aplliance order since they refused to do the installation. First time it was a dishwasher, when they took the old one out there was mold on the back wall. Delivery guy refused the installation, said I have to get the mold removed. I bought mold remover at loves, sprayed it over the back wall for couple of days, then painted the wall with a primer and indoor paint. Called back a week later to get the dishwasher installed but they refused since I did the repairs myself and not hired a professional to do the it. So I bough the same model at Home depot and they installed it with no problem. Secon time I ordered a fridge to replace the one in my laundery room. Delivery guys had to take the doors off the fridge to get it through the garage door.They were in a hurry and they kept saying this is not going to go through the door. This fridge is the same size as the existing one in my laundry room and when it was delivered years ago they took the doors off and got it in the room. Delivery guys were so frustrated and kept asking me if I wated to return the fridge, I finaly gave up, said take it back. I am now ordering the same fridge from their compatitor. I will be without a spare fridge for another 3/4 days.

Waited for 30 minutes for someone to assist in getting a piece of plywood. The customer service rep called for a manager 4 times. No one. Finally walked to customer service to see 4 men standing around. I asked who the manager was. They had no clue as it was a new manager. After going to customer service and waiting there, I walked back to lumber while a guy from customer service walked by with lumber!!!! I asked why he couldn t help and he said he didn t know I needed help????? Really unacceptable. No one was interested in working or helping. Finally a young man took over the situation and helped me. Noah was great. The rest of the multiple employees were not.

I had a pleasant experience in the tile section of Lowe s, Frisco TX-Preston Rd location this afternoon. Mason and Noah, associates at the store bent over backwards to help me find tile for my kitchen. These young men were pleasant and not afraid of work. Lowe s has not been my favorite place over the past few years due the lack of help. These young men should be commended for doing whatever they could to help a customer!

In the past (15 years) I have loved this particular store but, recent events of the last 4 months with a home project has turned me off of Lowe s. Multiples of screw-ups and bad to no communication on Lowe s end has been beyond what a customer should be put through. I reached out to corporate customer service with my detailed 4-months-too-long bad experience with the request that the new store manager contact me - 6 days later and not a peep. I used to see the previous store managers in the store, have had pleasant conversation/personal assistance from them but, whoever this new store manager is he is representative of the recent bad customer service experience I have had. Customer service at this store is no longer what it was once was at this location - but makes sense when you can t even get a return call from the store manager.

It took about 20 minutes for anyone to bother coming to help us in the paint department after pressing the call button for assistance. Tons of employees walked passed us but no one helped until I physically spoke with someone at customer service. Customer service is not their strong suit.

Needed immense help to select wood and cut it precisely for a baby gate and baby fence. Eddie Norwood provided amazing customer service. He knows his trade well and his skillset helped solution my issue. I couldn t take a chance with 10 month and 1 month babies and he did not take my concern lightly. Walked me through the process and helped with next steps. I trust Lowe s leadership recognizes him for his amazing customer service because it s rare these days. Lowe s should be honored to have his service.

If you decide to purchase a storm door from this Lowe s Frisco store, make sure your salesperson is NOT Dave Likins I ordered a storm door for my back door and front door July 2023. Mind you I paid in full July 13th and as of Sep 30th my order is incomplete When installers came 1 month after delivery, I learned Dave ordered the wrong doors! I let Dave know and he proceeds to only order the back door even though I told him the front door was wrong as well. My instinct told me that he didn t order the front door and I was right. I literally had to reach out to confirm if he ordered the right front door and that s when he told me oh since the front door didn t open fully I didn t think you wanted it replaced ? Huh?? Why would I have paid for a door I didn t even order??? I proceeded to tell him to order the correct storm door for front. Oh and be sure to note that if you do work with Dave his off days are Wed and Thurs. He will tell you he can t help you until he is back. I guess this store doesn t staff other sales reps in the door department. After waiting several weeks, the correct storm door for the back door finally gets installed and 2 weeks later (Sep 27) Lowe s calls and said my front door is in but Dave s response to me is to call the installation hotline myself. If you have the time and energy to manage your own storm door installs, Dave is your guy. I made sure to go in store today to speak to Dave s manager . Let s hope my front storm door installation gets scheduled Oct 2nd as Dave s manager said.

Super friendly staff at this Lowes. They will bend over backwards to help you. Sometimes we bring our dog here just to walk around and look at the merchandise. Everybody is so helpful. Last night we bought 3 toilets and J.R. and company helped us load the items into our truck. You won t find that type of VIP, white glove, concierge service anywhere else! Thank you!!!

Robin at the service desk was completely rude and raised her voice at me as well as other customers and refused to help. John the manager on duty did not apologize on her behalf. AVOID Lowe s Frisco and ROBIN . She is very RUDE and horribly treats all customers and Lowe s needs to investigate this. I asked John how to contact the store manager and he refused to discuss how to reach this person. It is so sad we have people like this working the customer service desk when they are unable and unwilling to service the customers

If you are a plant lover, be mindful that Lowes had a tall rack of sweet potato plants that had been neglected and, true to my my plant-loving instincts, I wanted to buy some at clearance price where they should have been in the first place with the other dried out plants in the back. I can nurse them back to health as I have done many times. The manager said they were on sale at full price along with the other new ones that had just been delivered.

If you need your kitchen appliances or washer and dryer installed on a schedule Lowes seems to have a big problem meeting any timeline. They forgot to schedule the installations, then they didnt provide the correct parts, and in one case the installer just didnt know how to do the service. We went somewhere else for the hot water heater.

Overall the store is typically clean and organized well. Often I feel most of the employees arent very knowledgeable on home improvement in general, however, this review is about customer service. Or more specifically, Wanda. I recently ordered new kitchen appliances online. For some reason, the oven wasnt being shipped to my home and I got a notification saying it was ready for pick up at the Frisco location. I dont have a vehicle large enough to haul the oven so I explained this to Wanda to see if there was any way to get this thing delivered so I didnt need to go rent a truck. Wanda was super helpful and went way above and beyond to figure out a way to get the appliance delivered to me. Most people would have just given up after finding out it wasnt as easy as getting the oven on the same delivery trucks as the other appliances. Wanda was tried a couple of ideas, thought outside the box for a solution, and remained patient and cheerful throughout the entire process. This was a very positive experience and Wanda represents Lowes extremely well.

Had a scheduled delivery and it was never delivered. I was first given a date of delivery of Friday, July 14th. Then got an email saying it was pushed back to July 21st. They were able to fix this issue and set up delivery back up for the 14th. I was told I would get a call about delivery time the evening before. I never got the phone call. I called Friday morning and was told it was scheduled for delivery on Saturday. I had already taken time off from work for Friday and wouldnt be home on Saturday for delivery so rescheduled for Tuesday when my husband could take time off from work. I was given a window of 1:30pm to 5:30 pm. Needless to say it was never delivered. We called the store and were told that delivery was attempted at 11:16 am and no one was home. First of all I never received a phone call stating that window had changed. Secondly, my husband was home all day long. No phone call was made if indeed they even attempted delivery. I cancelled the order and had to buy at another store. And that process took over 30 minutes. Poor customer service. All store could say is I am sorry. Two days lost of work for delivery that was never made!!!!! Beware if you have scheduled delivery. They will switch window times on you and not notify you!!!!! Only giving a one star because I cannot post my review without at least one star. Definitely a 0
