This will be my last visit to DDs Sugar Land Location. Ive been there four or five times and after the first time, which was really good, each time has been a little worse than the last. They will not get another shot at me. I got there about 11:45 and had beat the noon rush. No crowd and NO Pizza on the Buffet. With the exception of a couple of pieces on each of the three trays out there. I waited and out came Vegetarian Pizza. I waited and out came two more that I had no idea what they were. I then ask, Dont you have a Pepperoni, Sausage and Jalapeno pizza back there and the replay was, I guess I can put one in the oven. Never saw it. I had a couple of pieces of what was available and they were edible at best. 11 Bucks and got NOTHING. And by the way, the service was absolutely terrible

Out of the other Double Daves in the Houston area...this one is definitely the worst. Broken games and slow on the pizza for the lunch rush. Also, mens facute wasnt working and there were no towels in the restroom. Makes me wonder how the employees took care of themselves after using the restroom...

Food was great, but floor was sticky. Restroom ran out of toilet paper. Forgot to use my coupon when placing order, and they refused to apply the coupon just because the so-called transaction was completed

For $7-8 I would like a full serving of salad. The pizza came pretty quick it was delivered to my house I am pleased with that but I didnt have salad dressing or a fork. The pizza was good but Im annoyed that I paid my money and Im inconvenienced.

Turned off by the lack of service from this place quite a while back but the kids remembered good times there as a family so we tried one more time. I expected to turn around and walk out with an I told you so but was very pleased by the attentiveness and friendly service. They are back on our list as a place to go. Must have had a change in management or owners.

I arrived at this location around 7 pm for pizza and brew, waited 45 minutes for pizza and the tap beer counter top was held up by plastic cups. There was one cook and one cashier that seemed like they were sharing duties. NO ONE used gloves at all. They were dressed like they were going to play basketball after work. This place needs help. I was really craving DDs. Guess Ill make that drive to the westheimer location next time.

Staff looks like they are always working, they refill things constantly. Pizza is great, they have a very diverse menu and have great deals (if you know when the deals are). Its a great place to go on non-buffet hours if you want the highest quality service and attention. Buffet can be hectic.

Let me start off this review with a compliment: the restaurant was extremely clean. Now for the rest: (1) I arrived there Sunday March 5th 2017 at 5:15 pm, 15 minutes after the buffet started. There were four other customers, yet there was only pepperoni rolls and 3 pizzas to choose from. Totally unacceptable. (2) There was not any artificial sweetener available. However, there is an H-E-B across the street. Even though it was raining, it would have only taken 12 minutes or less to drive from the restaurant to HEB, pick up some sweeteners, use self-checkout, drive back and restock the restaurant. Totally unacceptable. (3) There was never an offer to make any pizza I would have wanted, unlike other pizza restaurants . Clifton, current manager, this is my 3rd time to your location. I will not be back.

I have given this location 2 tries with the last time being on a Friday. The crust here is not as tasty as other locations. It has no flavor really. Cooked nicely, but not flavor. The buffet also does not seem to draw many people in meaning the pizza gets a bit old....however, they are happy to fix you a hot fresh pizza of your choice, just ask.

Their lunch buffet is great, with fresh pizzas brought out regularly. You can also request any pizza you want to be put out (even custom order ones). The staff are very friendly, and make it fun to be there.

Have always loved Double Daves. This one could use some work, but the employees attempt to work with what they are given. Salad Bar - Old Lettuce, wilted and turning. Dirty and not well maintained. Pizza Bar - Get them out a little faster, but great with variety and quality, clean up the area Drink Station - could use some cleaning care, moderately stocked Honestly the whole operation would have been 4 stars if they would get out there and keep it clean. The employees cant help if they are being managed poorly or given bad product to serve. A good attitude (which they had) and clean restaurant and other things can be over looked.

A school group of mine had a lunch here and everything went quite well. The Pepperoni Rolls were good, the Pepperoni Pizza was excellent, and the cheese rolls were cheesier than ever. Our only complaint would be the relatively high prices.

I called from out of state to have a pizza delivered to my best friend. After calling countless other pizza shops and having lots of problems I called this local shop and they were so helpful, quick and polite. Ill be sure to stop in the next time im in Houston. The pizza was out of this world (according to my best friend) Thank you so much for being so helpful it really turned her day around.

Similar in concept to Cicis, but sooo much better in every way. The whole setup, the food and the staff makes this place the perfect place for every age to have pizza thats really good. Just dont request the garlic if youre gonna be a wimp about it. With that much garlic they put on, I get off almost anything I want from work! Hey, it tastes great and I get what I want out of it! Its a win win situation!
