I had a very good experience with MiMis. I came in on short notice and they got the needed alterations done several days faster than I had expected, for very reasonable costs, and had good communication throughout to let me know when things were done and available for pickup.

I recently took some of my clothes to be dry cleaned here. When I picked it up and got home I discovered that multiple of my very expensive merino wool pieces were stretched out, something that occurs when very harsh chemicals are used. Upon discovering this I immediately contacted the store and offered to provide them proof of their mistake. They chose to deny and threaten to sue me for complaining. In total they ruined 5 items totaling in roughly 800 dollars worth of clothing. Avoid them at all costs and take your business else where!!

We came in earlier than stated to pick up my wifes 3 pairs of work pants. Wife didnt have to wait long. She was elated about the work and It was exactly what she wanted and needed. I was impressed with this place almost 5 stars reviews so I brought my Burberry belt and 2 cuff belts to be fixed since the previous lady didnt do a good job. The service was fast but also lacking in attention to detail and had poor quality. I asked the lady (I think her name is Alex) if she could fix the problem and she took the job. I told her I wasnt in a hurry thinking that I would encourage her to do a great job. When I picked up my items 2 days ago, I was disappointed. She used pale yellow color thread on khaki color belt. She didnt cut the end of the belt evenly and the stitches were very sloppy!

Putting a 5 star because the one who took care of me, Alex, was very professional and helpful. Although upon picking up, there was an error and miscommunication on the badge stitching, we both discussed it and she quickly resolved it that same day. Price was very reasonable. I would recommend this shop for alterations and their services.

Alex was great, I placed my order around noonish Saturday and was told it would be ready after 1600. However we left earlier than expected so s stopped by to inform her I will pick up my stuff next week. To my surprise (1430)ish she informed me my items were ready for pickup!!! I feel as though I was way over charged for a simple dress hem at this place. I would never expect to pay more that $40 for a hem in the Northeast, so $75 seems outrageously overpriced especially for Killeen TX. Also I was denied their highly advertised military discount when I asked at the register for the discount. Would ve loved to have found a reputable tailor in the area but Mimi just missed out on a lot of business. Maybe she should think twice before trying to take advantage of her first -time costumers.

Fast, friendly, and quality every time I come here. Ladies at Mimi Cleaners know what they re doing and they do it for a great price fast. Probably one of the best cleaners on Fort in Hood Street. It s so close to the east gate. Incredibly convenient. I love coming here because I m always greeted with a smile, and I always leave a quality cleaning and alterations. I have dropped my husbands uniforms off three times now and every time I leave happy. Even better is my husband is happy with the work! I am go in asking for it to be inspection ready and she knows exactly how to do that. The service is excellent & quick! She also does not show any judgement for knowing very little about military uniforms (a rare gem for a new person to this lifestyle)

Best all around: I went in on a Saturday afternoon and dropped off 4 ocps complete to have badges and name tapes sewn on. As well as the right glute on bottoms. She had them completed on Monday at store opening. Also, I brought in two PCs and she sewn rank and nametapes on the spot. Fastest turnaround and she has an eye for perfection. She found name tapes to blend into the uniforms and make the name pop out (very difficult to do). Also, she even took the time out to make me place my headgear on to mark the area for my rank as I wear it.
