My husband and I visited Red Oak Grill (Missouri City) for lunch. The food was delicious and excellent service! Their restaurant was clean and very welcoming. We definitely plan on visiting again while we visit Texas. Highly recommended stopping in a supporting a fresh and local restaurant!!!

My husband and I had lunch here today and we were very pleased.. i had the chicken kabab plate which came with rice and mediterranean salad . Everything was done perfectlly. I also had the falafel appetizer . The falafel were great, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. My husband had beef shwarma wrap . He found it a little dry but tasty . Using the sauce helped..

Yummmmm! I was shocked to find the Red Oak Grill nearly empty at 6:15 pm on a weekday. The food was absolutely superb! I enjoyed the kabobs (one beef one chicken) since it was my first visit. I almost never eat everything I am served, but every bite was so delicious that I couldn t stop. The rice was cooked perfectly and the salad was superb. If I lived nearby I would dine here often. When I find myself eating in this area again I will definitely be back! Kid-friendliness: There was a good menu for kids.

Ive been eating at Red Oak Grill for over 10 years and havent had a bad meal yet. I have tried many food items and was never disappointed. Most recently, I had a double meat burger. This was the first time I had chosen this item as I have always chosen the lamb burger. I mostly choose from the traditional menu.The hamburger really surplised me. It was great, the meat was perfect. I usually dont eat fries but they were also perfect. My friends were equally impressed. My company ate most of my fries after eating their own. I will continue to chose Red Oak Grill.

I had the Greek salad. Enjoyed it. This place was somewhat different. Pay up front, also asked for a tip prior to service when using your credit card. Didn t leave a tip because I hadn t received any service other putting in my order. Was there over an hour., no one ever came to my table to ask if I needed anything. I really wish I could give a better review because the owner was so sweet and came by to greet us at our table. I went on Valentines Day for lunch with a friend and they were giving out free Baklava and desserts which was very nice. I had a beef shawarma wrap. Meat seemed a bit dry and the pita bread seemed stale. Tried some tabbouleh and a spinach artichoke dip, not bad but have had better. Location was great and parking was not an issue. Such a beautiful space, hopefully if they make efforts to improve on the food quality, they can have greater success and bring in more business. I would still go back and give it another try when I return to TX

Good restaurant. I went with a group of people. I wish there was more selection other than Mediterranean food. Service was a little slow when getting our food, and there werent that many people in the restaurant. One of the women in my group had to get her food remade because the server didnt go down all the tables to make sure a dish was one our group ordered. We ordered a Schwarma and a vegetarian dish, which we shared. It was good, decent Lebanese. The bread was dry and hard, and the dolma was too soggy. The restaurant seems odd to me. The seating area feels like a restaurant, and is nice. But you order at the counter, which I find odd. They do bring the good out, which is nice. I found the service to be competent and friendly. It felt family run, by people who care about what they are serving. I m wouldn t say no to returning, but wouldn t suggest coming here either as I didn t enjoy ordering at the counter and paying a tip for the pleasure.

On May 12th of this year, my husband and I ate dinner at Red Oak Grill. We had not been there for over a year or more and enjoyed the food in the past. We ordered 2 meals, the lamb kabob dinner and a vegetarian dinner. We shared the food from both plates, EXCEPT THE DOLMAS. I did not eat much because the foods just did not taste right - the lamb had an old meat smell covered up with lemon, the spinach triangles were mushy and soggy. My husband left the dolmas for me because he knows how much I usely enjoy them. I had a bite or 2 and decided not to eat these either because they did not appear or taste fresh. 48 hours later, I became ill with a high fever, abdomial cramping, and other very painful and unpleasant digestive syptoms I prefer not to mention here!. My gatroenterologist was very concerned and sent me to have lab tests done. After 2 weeks waiting for result, they came back positive for salmonella poisoning. I got a call from the state health department and was interviewed because food poisoning cases have to be reported to the state and then investigated by the local health department. I contacted the Missouri City Health Department 5 or 6 times to find out what results they had from their investigation and what the results were for this restaurants prior inspection. The person in charge of this department never returned my calls or provided results of any investigation. So, did I get salmanella from the food at Red Oak Grill? I checked my records and found I had not eaten out anywhere else over the week before or within the 48 hours from eating at the Red Oak Grill. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the MC Health Department for not doing their job and of course, the Red Oak Grill, which I will not ever be returning to.

Food is well made, tastes great and nice variety from classic Mediterranean to standard American fare with an array of hamburgers, chicken, tator tots and kids meals, too, I think. Portions are a normal digestible size. Just enough and not overfilling. Great atmosphere. Quiet and not packed with people. Good background music thats not too loud. Great for a date or lunch with a friend. Cuatomer service is wonderful and friendly. You order your food at the counter and they bring it out to you and take plates away when your done. Prices are modest. Not an expensive place for great restaurant food. Dietary restrictions: Great place to appease your exotic food eating friends while having standard bland options for folks who cant tolerate exotic fare. Kid-friendliness: I believe they have a kids menu. Restaurant plenty large to have kids in one section with their parents and quiet spots for others far enough apart if desired.

First timer, The menu really intrigued us to try this place. Service is like cafeteria style. I had the falafel, hummus and tabbouleh. My wife had the chicken shawarma, hummus and med salad. The food was good and we both liked what we ordered. It seems like the Mediterranean is just like other places and has regional food trends. The med salad didnt have olives or feta cheese. The baklava was not good, very dry. Overall though, we will for sure be back to try some other stuff.

They should remove sharwama from their food directory because the prep is very bad, the wrap is so strong like taco hard shells, the seasoning is very terrible. First time here and I can t believe how delicious and fresh everything tasted. The portions were huge! My wife and I shared the falafel plate special for $8.49 and we still took leftovers home. In this time when so many restaurants have jacked up their prices and blaming it on everting from Covid to gas prices to the economy. I want to give this place a special shout out for keeping prices low and yet their service and quality is exceptional. I wish we had one of these in Canada! Lots of vegan options too! Red Oak Grill, where we have enjoyed meals previously, advertised that it was open for business. Indeed, its Google calendar showed it open the day we went. Yet, when we arrived, there was no one in the restaurant, and only s single, tiny sign indicating it was closed. Because we called and there was no recorded message indicating the restaurant was closed, and because we drove across town (more than half an hour to arrive) and because our seven year old daughters were already hungry from us finding restaurant after restaurant appropriately indicating on Google they were closed, we are awarding Red Oak Grill one star, for completely dropping the ball and, in so doing, hunting my family. Chicken shawarma was dry (the meat). Hummus was decent. The pita bread is like the kind you but at the grocery store, not the fluffy kind. Fries were mid, shoestring fries. First visit, so everything was new. We visited on Valentines Day for a late lunch. The set up is a little different. You order your food at the counter, then they bring it to you. We started with hummus, I chose the chicken schwarma plate, while my guy chose the gyro plate. I asked what was non-alcoholic as far as beverages. The first lady didnt understand me, the one who answered me acted as though it was an inconvenience to answer. I asked because they had signage offering a glass of champagne on Valentines Day, and I was driving. We were never offered said champagne. The food was very good, hummus smooth, pita warm and fresh. The schwarma was very tasty. My gent enjoyed his gyro. We will definitely be back.

I would give 0 stars if that was available. Post bottle of wine at one price and rings up at higher price. When asked, cashier cannot speak English. Other young lady try to argue. The place is in a shopping center in Missouri City, so they have ample parking. It was empty when I arrived with maybe two other guests. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Its not a sit and be waited on restaurant. The utensils and fountain drinks are to the left of the counter. They have a small vegetarian option but a bigger option if youre pescatarian. The meal was good but not great. I hate carrots, especially large cut carrots, so I didnt care for the mixed vegetables. Overall, its nice. The tables are spaced well, so if you have a wheelchair you should be able to eat there. I want to begin this review with I absolutely love Red Oak Grill and their staff. Today something went horribly wrong with the order. I order a Red Oak salad with grill chicken, yeah, you guess it, no grill chicken was added. I have never had to check previously, I did not check the order before I arrived home, I will admit businesses sometimes make mistakes. But it does not end there, I also ordered chicken breast with corn and rice. They must have new cooks, because I lived in their food during Covid, and it was never this horrible. The chicken was extremely dry, and the corn(normally to die for) was a bit overcooked. I simply just cannot believe the meal was this horrible. I did call them, and they appeared to show some concern, but in the end it was a bad meal, and yes l, but paid full price with Tip.

One thing I have learned after moving to this area is that DO NOT BE FOOLED by the google reviews. Just because a restaurant has 4.5 stars does not mean it s actually a good restaurant. It is very Disappointing that this particular place is highly rated on google but does not have good food. The meat is super dry. Ordered margaritas and they were not good, actually tasted a bit foul. The chicken kabobs were served to us dry and burned. All in all, I do not recommend this restaurant. It s pricey here and for no good reason.

You go through the door and walk to the side of the dining area to the ordering area and cashier. You take a number to your seat and the server brings the food to the table. The Salmon , Shrimp Kabob, Hummus, Baked Potato and Rice were all delish. My friend and I shared. The portions were more than ample. There were some scrumptious looking deserts in the case but we did not partake. The dining area was clean and the service was very pleasant. I would definitely go there again.

This is our typical Mediterranean restaurant we prefer to dine at. We have been very pleased with the chicken shwarma plate and kid s cheeseburger. Although we typically don t deviate from this, we received wraps in error and they were pleasantly good. Today we got the kids hotdogs and the bread was very stale. Other than that, food is great.

Showed up at 8:10 and door is already locked! Sad that they dont stay open for the hours posted on their door. No worries, my money wont be spent at this establishment again! Worst part is I was just here 3 nights ago and had an amazing meal so the fact I was going to the same place twice in a week says a lot.
