I had purchased 3 pothichoor from this store recently. All the portions were considerably less compared to the amount I had bought about a week ago. My serving was missing 2 items and when I called the owner to inform him about my grievances, he told me that this is all he can offer and that I need to buy from him only if I wanted it that way. Poor customer service. That is not how you speak to a customer, and I felt very bad when he said that, as I was a regular customer. Not going there anymore. Restaurants provide food and hospitality. Lack in one and the other does not satisfy the customer.

My wife has been craving her mom s cooking for a while now and this was the best Malayalam food we ve tried. We had a colleague bring it to a gathering and we tried it and immediately had to find out where he got it because it was absolutely delicious. We ordered chicken cutlets, chilli chicken, and beef fry. Everything tasted home made and everything was freshly made and hot like it just came off the stove. 10000% recommend everyone try it at least once. We ll be regulars going forward. Parking: Lots of spots when we went. We parked right in front of the store. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs

Drove to the restaurant only to find it was closed. No one answered the phone, Google said it was open and the sign on the door said open 10:00 a.m.to 7:00 p.m. If a business cannot keep up with their own hours and inform customers then they will slowly lose them over time.

Their South Indian food is the best in Houston. Chamanthi is a must have and their meen curry is delicious. Owner is also very nice and helpful! Would recommend.

Good food; I like the biriyanis here and the puffs are good. And those little cashew cookies- not too sweet and sometimes a teeny bit sour. The mild chicken curry was absolutely AMAZING as well

Tastes just like home! The biryanis are a crowd pleaser and even my Latina friend couldn t get enough of the avial! Both South Indian and North Indian meals are great and attest to Mahima Indian Bistro s wide-range of expertise.
