Garlic naan was very tasty but unfortunately the daal was extremely thin and watery. The daal is worth 2 stars and the garlic naan is probably 4 stars so I left an average 3 star rating. There is of course, a range of preference as to the preferred thickness of the daal And I suppose some customers may like it thin like that. I however, had ordered it with garlic naan, and I had another couple of small roti that I had made in the morning at home. So I planned to eat it with naan and roti. I felt that It was much too thin to go with naan. This would have been better over rice. But I didn t know it was going to be that thin. So once I got home, I had to reduce it on the stove top to get it to thicken up enough that I could enjoy it. I just felt it was too much trouble to have to do that. I know how to make daal On my own and I felt like for the trouble I went through to dirty my pan and have to Do cleanup at home that I could ve saved a lot of money just making it myself. Typical restaurant daal is usually not extremely watery nor extremely thick. It s usually of a moderate thickness. it did not live up to my expectations and I don t think I will go there again to try other menu items.

Excellent food at the buffet. I think they specialize in catering and not so much hot fresh food in a well serviced restaurant. But that aint why you go for a Sunday buffet gorging. No, you go for the Malu classics - which they do a great job of. A great variety with staples and staplers. Naan and parota compliment the curries and smorgasbord of random north Indian dishes to compliment the Kerela classics.

While this is a simple restraunt when you walk in,the food and service was great. The lunch buffet has a nice selection, continually being sure it was stocked and they make the bread FRESH on demand! Definitely would go back again! Kid-friendliness: We went with our two toddlers and everyone, including other customers were very welcoming.

I recently visited Indian Palace, and my experience was quite average. The food, while not exceptional, was okay. However, I was disappointed with the unprofessional food packaging. The request for an extra bag was met with unnecessary attitude from an older staff member, making the encounter less than pleasant. I appreciate professionalism in service, and unfortunately, this aspect was lacking during my visit.

We did not eat. This is a cautionary review. The restaurant does not look at all like the pictures on-line or on their website. It is tiny and everything was crammed in. The website says nothing about the buffet hours and when we got there, we were told it was from 11am until 2pm on the weekends. We got there at about 4:15pm. They did have what looked like packaged leftovers from the buffet sitting inside the buffet steam table. If you want any personal space while eating. This is not the place for you. The food may be good. Well go back one day during the buffet hours. Im gving them 3 stars based on the bait and switch and also the way the food was placed in the steam table.

Man, I gotta say, that lunch buffet was top-notch! The food was seriously outstanding. Each dish had its own unique and distinct flavor that made my taste buds dance with joy. From the savory butter chicken to the perfectly spiced chicken biryani, everything on that spread was an absolute delight. And lets not forget about those crispy and fluffy porotta. I couldnt resist going back for seconds... or thirds! The selection was incredible, with a wide variety of options to choose from. To top it all off, the service was friendly and attentive. Its safe to say, I left that buffet feeling incredibly satisfied and already dreaming about my next visit! Today from the buffet my combinations were kappa and meen curry, porotta, goat curry and chicken 65, and ada payasam. I was told they serve lunch buffet throughout the week. Highly recommend this place if you are craving south indian cuisines. Vegetarian options: Good Indian vegetarian options. The veg food was tasty in spite of the restaurant offering both veg and non-veg.

Honestly the worst Indian food I have tasted. I bought Lamb Briyani, dal curry , cauliflower Manchurian, butter chicken, naan and paratha. It tasted like the food was made few days ago and reheated. Lamb briyani and paratha didn t have much flavor or salt. Only dish was decent was Gobi manchurian. I brought my concerns to the owner, he bluntly denied. He kept saying it was cooked freshly today. My goal is to support local restaurants and businesses but please don t waste your money ordering from here.

I ordered Uber eats from here. Big mistake. I ordered butter chicken and it was bland and the chicken tasted like it came from the freezer. The naan was burned which was inedible. We ordered the saag paneer and chicken tikka masala. The saag paneer was very bland and souplike. The tikka masala was alright, but it wasn t as delicious as others I ve eaten. We did Onam sadya order for 2020. Food was great but cabbage thoran was tasting almost raw. Taste was good though. I would recommend the restaurant and would order in future. Packaging was a plus point. Very neat and organized. I am not sure about other items listed though. Below average taste. The cook has no sense of what s the appropriate quantity of ingredients. Saag Paneer was extremely rich with cream with just a bit of spinach. Mushroom masala felt almost like desert, it was sweet in taste and with floating thick layer of oil. Both dishes were totally tasteless. This place has a great tasting chicken biriyani for 10 dollars. You can get it either bone-in or boneless. They cook the chicken between 2 layers of rice so it comes out moist. Some places cook the biriyani on the top and it comes out dry and some restaurants cook the chicken on the bottom and it comes out burnt. The single order can feed 2 people easily. It comes with a cup of raita and lime pickle and 2 pieces of poppadom. You can substitute the lime pickle for mango pickle if you want. Make sure you give them enough time to place an order. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes for a fresh order of chicken biriyani. I also get a cup of fresh mango pickle from this restaurant. Its better than the store bought Grandmas pickle which has alot of preservatives and sodium in it. Cant beat the price of 7 dollars for a cup. This restaurant caters to south indian style cooking which is a little bit different from north indian food.

The speciality of this restaurant is Kerala food. Kerala is a scenic state in the Southern part of India with distinctly cooked seafood. This place serves buffet during lunch but the Kerala thali (platter) is my go-to. Great comfort food, feels authentic and home-made. They recently moved here from another location. Very good plantain chips prepared and sold at the restaurant. They also provide catering service.

Very good Place to go if you like Indian food, this is southern Indian in particular, but you still get all the Favorites like Biryani, Goat Curry, Saag Paneer, Curry Daal. You can get Naan or paratha . Lots of great choices and vegetable dishes as well. A good fruit salad desert, although I did miss the Gulab jamun! Bring them back please Also price is good, not 15 bucks just 10.99 for lunch buffet. Ive been to many of the Indian Restaurants in the city and this one can hold its own against any of them. This place is a hidden gem! The food is amazing, cooked by the owner s wife fresh daily. The naan bread comes fresh to the table. Selection is decent and it has most of the popular dishes that you would find in similar restaurants. The prices are very affordable especially the daily buffet which ends daily at 3:00 pm. The owner is a very nice person and serves by himself most of the time. The place is clean and the parking is easy. They are closed on Tuesdays.

I am giving one star for a few reasons. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. I was referred by customers who visited Kerala Thanima, which is operated by the same owner. 1) The customer service was great; however, there was only server available at the time of my visit (1/15/2017 around 11:30 am). This is the first dine-in restaurant Ive ever visited where I had to serve drinks myself. The one good thing I noticed was the paper napkins available at the buffet and at the table. 2) The ambience inside the restaurant was not very pleasing. It looked more like a fast food restaurant than a sit down Indian Restaurant. The plates were dirty and my table was wobbly. The bowls and glasses were all different styles and colors. The drinking glasses were plastic and looked old. Considering this is a new restaurant, I would have expected new furniture, dishes and everything to be coordinated. The bathrooms were cleaner than other Indian restaurants I have visited. 3) The food items were not labeled correctly (the beans thorin was mislabeled as plantain thorin). Some dishes had too much salt, while others had no salt/taste. There was an excessive use of fennel seeds in most of the chicken dishes. Most of the dishes looked questionable, they did not have an authentic taste. A) The chicken curries did not taste fresh, instead they tasted like they were precooked and frozen. Definitely Food taste has detoriated since my last visit 4 months ago. Tandoori chicken had no flavor in it (insufficiently marinated ) but it had the red color on it; infact it was insufficiently cooked. Chicken biryani absolutely had no masala in it. I am sure rice and chicken were separately cooked and mixed together just a few minutes ago. Fish curry was made to order ; it had too much of ginger and was very bitter. Some customers left the restaurant after seeing the buffet. One family ordered a la- carte food and avoided the buffet. Paying $14 on a weekend buffet here is not worth it for this quality. Looks like the business is struggling and they are cutting the food cost.Very less non veg food on buffet trays.
