U Village in Missouri City is a fantastic spot for Chinese cuisine. We ordered the Youtiao (Chinese fried bread), beef pan-fried dumplings (delicious with a crispy bottom), vegetarian steamed dumplings, spicy tofu soup, and a couple of large cups of hot soy milk with a little sugar. Everything was delicious, and they made it fresh after we ordered, so be patient. The customer service was very good. Im not sure why they have any bad reviews our experience was great. We will definitely come back again. They have a large area for dining in, or you can take it to go like we did. Highly recommended!

had diarrhea just hour after having their food. I tried to order 1 count of bun which is on the menu, the cashier tried to sell me 6, I said 1 count not 1 serving, then she told me she can sell me 2 count. The store smells weird. They charge credit card fee. Won t come back! Best advise: don t step in this business.

Every traditional Chinese breakfast here are worth to try, especially pork bun (yummy) and soy milk (not sweet and healthy). However, the portion they offer is Asian style, not Texas style, so its not a good news for big eater

This is my familys favorite Chinese food, and I think they have the best buns, churros, jellied bean curd in Houston. I buy them for the whole family once a week. The material is fresh, and the staff are very nice. I hope business is booming and I can enjoy their food for a long time.

This is VERY good! The staff is friendly and food is delicious. I don t know why this place isn t booming and a lot of the bad reviews can t be real or they accidentally reviewed the wrong restaurant because it opened in 2020 but some bad reviews are from 2018, so weird!!! Anyways, I definitely recommend everyone to come here at least once to taste some awesome authentic Chinese food. I am telling all my friends about it. The soy milk is also very delicious my favorite is the handmade beef noodle soup, the chef has 30 years experience!!! Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed and sometimes get special treats

I took my kids to U Village today for brunch. The owner is super nice, and the food was amazing! What a gem in the heart of Missouri City/Sugar Land. We tried the buns, Chinese breadsticks, and the soy milk all delicious! The bun is juicy, soft on top, and crispy on the bottom. The breadstick is crispy and fluffy. Soy milk was on point and not too sweet. Absolutely a great find. We will be back!

Great food. Quells that dumpling craving. Hot soy milk is on tap. It s a bit of a plain space, but that s fine if you re stuffing your face with food. They forgot our pot stickers order, but we got it eventually. For some reason, the Google Maps app isn t letting me add more photos, but it s good stuff. I need to come back for their non-dumpling menu items.

Save time and dont come here. I would give 0 Star if I could. Save yourself a trip to no go there , when this morning, ordered some food. Food on display are cold, server was like we just made it we dont have warmer to keep them warm. Even the fried item are cold too, so they just simply either put in the microwave or put in the oven to reheat it and server you. The tofu item was tasteless like water. And the beef buns was taste just okay and the $7 beef pastry was also reheated.(lets put it this way if u want to eat hot or warm stuff 98% are reheated) Im a Chinese breakfast foodie, this is my worst experience so far. PS. Please be advised, they only have paper plates and foam bowls for dine in. Basically everything needs to be reheated, including the fried dough sticks. If you ask why they are all cold, the store clerk will confidently say that it is because there is no insulation on the counter . The taste is very average, and the tofu bread is just a little bland. Unsurprisingly, these heated fried dough sticks made me sick. The $7 beef shabu-shabu also needs to be reheated. All dine-in tableware is disposable. Please proceed with caution.

If you are from China, you will definitely love the traditional Chinese breakfast from this place. I normally order to go to share with my family during weekends. I will heat up most of the orders at home before eating. I saw a review saying the foods are cold and must be leftovers from the previous day, which I believe NOT, because the owner normally gets up super early to prepare the food. Imagine when you buy donuts, they are all fresh made by the same day but are all cold too, right? Let s just be fair.

I drove for half an hour to try something new, intending to buy some frozen dumplings on the way. Unexpectedly, the dumplings eaten in were cooked until soft and the skin and flesh separated when picked up. I immediately gave up the idea of taking out. The rice balls and beef pan-fried buns tasted average, and the soy milk bland. Parking is convenient and the service staff is friendly.

This is the most disappointing place I ever been to. I ordered some beef noodles and fried Chinese donut togo. The lady at the front told me they just had some beef pancakes freshly made and asked if I would like to give it a try. I agreed to take one togo. After I got home, I noticed the beef noodles was packed in one soup container. Noodles was super soggy after I got home. (15 mins drive) and there s no beef in my pancake. I gave them a call and the lady just kept telling me that I ordered a sesame onion pancake instead of beef pancake. She starts arguing with me blaming me for everything. At the end she was like I can give you a free one if you want. Rude. Stay away if you could.

An excellent experience today!! The cashier was super friendly! She recommended me many stuffs and she ever gave me a stick for FREE!!! So I tried 3 different pan-fired Buns. They were all very tasteful. But I think the beef one was the best! A salted jellied bean curd, a sauced chitterlings. The most important thing is she gave me this fired stick for FREE!!! Anyway recommended as a nice breakfast store. Though you do wanna come early get the fresh food.

My group left this establishment disappointed since the quality of the food was so poorly done. Majority of our food came out cold and stale. You can taste that its been sitting around for a while and the lady did not bother heating it up prior to serving it to us. The fried donut was so hard to chew due to being stale, cold, and was not crispy at all. The green onion pancake came out hot, but was so overcooked and lacked any flavor that it tasted like a very oily, thick crispy chip. The fried donut, green onion pancake, and pan fried buns were way too oily that you feel uncomfortable afterwards. Their soy milk was not filtered so it tasted very gritty that while I am writing this review, it feels like I have sand stuck in my throat. The lady was nice to us, but the food is not there. We were really hoping for authentic Chinese breakfast done right, but sadly it is nowhere near it. I hope they can turn this around and become better.

This place was opened 3 years ago (the owner said). This is my 1st time to buy anything there. The YouTiao (fried chinese dough stick) is spongy and rubbery like a leather and no taste at all ($1.75 per stick). The tofu curd is just ok but cost $3.50???, overall experience is terrible. No more and sayaonara.

Well...I guess if you dont speak their language, youre not welcomed and I guess your money doesnt spend the same. I walked in, waited in line. It was my turn. The clerk walked away from the counter. Turned to wipe off the other counter. Went to the back. Only came back to the register where I was standing to greet a woman that JUST walked through the door. She proceeded to grab two small containers out of a cooler and hand them to the woman that walked in (at least 5 min) after me. (I assume she was a frequent customer). The woman handed her a credit card so she could pay for the containers. I suppose I could have waited to be served, but I walked out and went across the street to Kolache factory... where I was welcomed. If you own a business in America, I think you should serve everyone that walks in your doors. Jim Crow doesnt exist anymore.
