We just tried this restaurant for the first time, and it was great. The place is clean and bright, with a diverse menu from different asian cuisines. The waiter recommended some signature dishes, so we went with the chicken wings, ramen, and lo mein. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it.

One of the best places for Asian cuisine around. My wife and I love the orange chicken, Mongolian Delight and Nasi Goreng (Indonesian Fried Rice). Kid-friendliness: Took my oldest and youngest son. Both wanted the chicken nuggets and French fries. The atmosphere is laid back which is perfect for the young ones. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking available with ramps up to the doors.

I got Mongolian chicken to go. I guess you get what you pay for because a lot of places charge more than $12. It s all onion, a few carrots, (even though when I asked on the phone, he said it was only onion, and I left out the jalapeño) and a few measly pieces of chicken. the flavor isn t even good and they don t give much rice either. The guy working there is acting like his dog just died or something,seems depressed and not friendly at all didn t say thank you, probably won t come back. also the carrots were raw.

Absolutely so yummy!!! Was very to sad to see that they weren t busy because the food and service were excellent! If you re local it s a must. We drove from Richmond and it was worth the drive! They don t serve alcohol but allowed us to bring in wine. Go support this small business and enjoy a yummy affordable dinner!

Mongolian delight plate: rice must of took a blue chew cause it was dry and hard. Meat was very nasty like it been sitting out ? Im sorry but the food was below average, pricing is on the high side for the small portions. The waiters attitude matched the food dull and non existing just lacked motivation on refills and clean up. Parking: Lock your doors.

We visited this restaurant because they serve Indonesian cuisine. One wait staff was friendly but the other one was not. He has this grumpy face and did not seem like he s happy being there. The restaurant seems to be understaff because we tend to have to wait to order. A lot of to go orders and less visitors in general. 8 Soto Ayam 3/5 It was good but I prefer noodle in my soup 20 Mee Goreng 4/5 This was really tasty but it lacks consistency. Our recent order was not good as it was wet. 12 Ayam Bali 4/5 This was spicy and good 7 Mie Ayam Jamur 4/5 This is something unique. It s nice but the portion could be increased.

The indonesian fried rice & sweet soy sauce noodles with shrimp & chicken were so delicious! Ill definitely be back. The ambiance was good too. Only thing that knocked it to 4 stars was the restroom. There wasnt a baby changing station in the womens restroom and the floor looked pretty dirty. The curry beef was ok, the texture of the beef wasnt the best, pretty chewy. The server was polite and food came out decently quick for being authentic indo cuisine.

This is my go to place for Indonesian food. Their Chinese food is good too! I ve tried their Ramen and loved it (yes, they offer Indonesian, Chinese, and Japanese food). The restaurant is not big with limited seatings, but we always got a table every time we came. I love that it s quiet, so my husband and I could actually carry conversations. If you d like to try Indonesian food, I recommend Nasi Goreng, Kwetiau Goreng (photo), Bakmi Ayam Jamur, Satay Ayam, and Siu May (photo)

As a vegetarian, its hard for me to find Indonesian food! I called to order the ketoprak and the owner redirected me to order gado gado as a non-Indonesian person since she said the flavor profile would suit me more. I think she was right because was incredible and I cant imagine it being as good without all the veggies! I didnt order it because I dont like American salads but this was a special salad. I will be back for the mee goreng and nasi goreng!

Absolutely delicious Indonesian food in an unpretentious spot in Missouri City on Hwy 6. I m so happy I found this place from a recommendation by a person I know in Missouri City who I asked what is the best restaurant in town and they did not hesitate one second & said here. I had a couple of Indonesian dishes and both were outstanding. Indonesian lady attending to me was super friendly, attentive and made feel welcome. Food was prepared fresh so wasn t out in an instant but out in a reasonable amount of time - I d prefer to wait a few extra minutes for freshly prepared food. Place was impeccably clean and prices were reasonable. This place is a gem. I ll definitely be back every time I m in Missouri City!!!

Great place for food and the atmosphere is a typical mom and pop diner place. I sae a lot of to go orders whilst I did my dine in experience. Food was well made although limited. Also the starters were disproportionate in price to the entrees. For those on a budget, it would make it difficult. Tried the King Pao Chicken and the flavors were contemporary American in style and very worthwhile eating.

Very poor standards. I ordered two things costing me $35.00. The House fried rice was dry and the so called tarriakei chicken was white chicken on white rice. I will not longer be buying from there. I called and sent picture to them and they refused to make t o make it right. I wasted my money, I could have gone an gotten some Mexican tacos for less and know what I would get. Doing business with Asians is always risky. They have no standards and no customer service. They are all FRAUD. A bunch of rice with 5 small pieces of chicken. These people steal form their own people so what do you expect.

We got the Risoles, Pastel, Nasi Goreng, and the Mie Bakso Jakarta. Firstly, the Indonesian food here is authentic. Secondly, its DELICIOUS! I had no idea what I was missing! The fried rice is made with shallots which gives it an sweetened taste and the crispy egg on top is reminiscent of Viet rice, but it complements the flavors nicely of the rice nicely. The risoles and pastel really surprised me - simple but tasty. Also, the food was prepared very quickly (their woks must be blazing hot) and served hot. The staff was friendly as well and the decor is a mix of Sino/Nippon/Indo influences. Definitely looking forward to going back.

They gave me a 40 min wait time after an hour I called and was told were still working it the food had not left the building and they asked me to wait another 10 min. When the delivery guy finally came he had no pen for me to sign the receipt and had to run all the way to his car about 50 ft away. He left me holding the food and check book with receipt. They have an antiquated card system. I brought everything inside and signed before he made it back to my gate. I ordered 1. Vegetable Tempura no broccoli 2. Veg egg roll 3. Singapore noodles no meat no egg. When I got the food there was broccoli in the Singapore noodles but on the menu its not listed that broccoli is 1 of the Vegetables. Youd think they wouldve warned me if I said no broccoli in another dish. Would I order again? If I didnt have to feed my 5 yr old and I was desperate and there were no other options and I was up for the incompetence yeah. The flavor of the food and sauces were actually good. Update: As of August 2022 I had no idea this resteraunt I found in traffic was the same 1 I ordered from several months prior. Dine in experience was 5 star Yemin was very hospitable, patient. I ordered vegetable tempura and shrimp fried rice. Theres been a changed in my eating regimen and Im now eating crab and shrimp. Theyre fried rice didnt dissappoint and I ordered it 3 days in a row for carry out. Kicked back with it on my couch. Consider me a regular for dining in. I still wont order delivery anymore. I guess some places are just best to dine in. I do have to remind them to give me plastic ware every time. Other than that the food quality is consistently delicious. #dinein so Im changing from 2 stars to 3 because idk if the delivery service has improved

Tried this place for the first time tonight. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated. The staff was very nice and attentive. Ordered our two go to dishes to try. Sesame chicken and the special lo mein. Both were better than we expected. The meat in both was very tender. The sauce for the sesame chicken was very good. Not too sweet and not overly thick. The rice it came with was basic white rice, but it was cooked well. The lo mein has beef, chicken and shrimp. All three were good, especially the shrimp. You could tell they actually season it separately. The sauce on this was great as well. After the first bite my husband was sold. He said we found our place. Which we have been looking for the past four years. My only thing to note is that they serve beverages in bottles and cans, which isn t the end of the world. They dont overly charge for them. But it s just something to know ahead of time.

I come to this restaurant 2-3 times a week mostly for lunch-take out. And every time I pick up my order, they are always busy with take outs. The restaurant is immaculately clean, price is reasonable, and the service is excellent. As a food enthusiast, I would like to share my TOP 3 Most Fav Food (repeatedly order) from Raki : 1) RENDANG! Ohhh my Goshhh sooo yummmeeehh!! The meat is so tender, perfectly seasoned, and the spices in rendang are really fragrant and appetizing. Im gonna tell you this, Chef Gordon Ramsay was willing to fly thousands of miles away to Indonesia to learn how to cook Rendang. Rendang is a traditional food originating from West Sumatera (definitely not from Malaysia!) and Raki has managed to execute this menu perfectly! My husband whos an European loves it like crazy, he agrees that the Rendang is very authentic. Order this, and you will fall in love with their Rendang. PS this isnt a fast cooked entrée so a bit of patience wont hurt. 2) MIE GORENG FRIED NOODLE. Super delicious! This menu is so popular in Indonesia and Raki cook this so well. It reminds the moment when I stayed in a 5 Resort in Bali Island, I had this fried noodle as a main course. And the one I got from Raki was just exactly as delicious as I had in Bali Resort! Unbelievable! I feel nostalgic Also approved by my husband for its authenticity. 3) AYAM BAKAR KALASAN GRILLED CHICKEN with Sambal. Absolutely the most delicious grilled chicken Ive ever had. Its a whole chicken, perfectly seasoned and grilled, the chicken meat is very flavorful and juicy! The chicken meat is very tender and comes off the bone easily. I dont have to strain to pull the meat when I eat it. The sambal as a dip is just amazing, enough spiciness for those who dont get used to extreme spicy level. I love Raki and their consistency with their cooking, never disappoint me as one of their loyal customers. Bravo! My son ordered the orange beef chefs special and I had the Singapore fried rice. The orange beef is one of better ones that Ive eaten. It was crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. It is sweet with a touch of sour. The fried fried was well seasoned and topped with a fried egg. I love how they were able to get the egg evenly crispy without burning it. Overall, I would definitely order from here again.

Very flavorful dishes. Took one bite of the nasi goreng and immediately had nostalgia for my Singapore and Indonesia days. OMG!!!! I wasnt expecting the Indonesian dishes to be sooooo gooooddd like this. I ordered the rissoles, telor balado, and rendang for pick up. These are some of my favorite Indonesian dishes that you can t get at any standard Indo-Malay restaurant. Even after a 30 minute drive back to my house these dishes hold well, you can reheat the rissoles in a toaster oven or air fryer and they re sooo good. I introduced my friends to the dishes because they never had Indonesian food before, they were all great hits and very authentic! The telor balado is very spicy (as it should be) so just know that not everyone can eat it. I was worried the food wouldn t match my memories because I never tried Raki before but I m so glad, it s very authentic. Indonesian food can be expensive if you are one person, so it s more delicious when you eat with more people to try more dishes, I definitely recommend Raki s Indonesian menu if you have never tried it

This is awful. Do not believe the reviews as they must be written by the staff or owners. This place never delivered my food. I called and was informed the food was sitting there ready but still waiting on driver. I advised I did not want cold food and to refund my money and the person on the phone told me to get in my car and come get it. I asked for a refund and was told he would call me back. Poor customer service. I will now have to dispute the charges. What a horrible experience and I am left hungry, money taken and wondering what kind of business be so insensitive!!!! If I could give this establishment a zero I would. This is the first and last time I order from this horrible place. Dang shame!!!!!!!! My wife and I got the tonkatsu and shoyu ramen and it was terrible. The noodles look like they were taken straight from a package of instant ramen but somehow had less flavor. The soup base was bland and the meat tasted like it was relying on the flavor of the noodles and soup to supply the flavor of the dish. The egg was boiled perfectly.

This is my first time having actual ramen and it was amazing! I got the raki special and it was the perfect amount of spicy. Great service, absolutely delicious hot and sour soup. The general Tsos chicken was a bit crunchier than others, but I really enjoyed the texture, and overall flavor. Sweet and mouthwatering. Their steamed dumplings were great! Mixed with the spicy sauce that comes with it, it had a very earthy almost smokey flavor to it. Cant wait to see what their other foods taste like!

As far as I know, Raki is the last restaurant in the greater Houston area that still serves Indonesian food. Though they serve other Asian cuisine types to cater to the American palette, their Indonesian food is the best you can get in town. We went with some of the most common dishes - Rendang and Mie Goreng, then also got the Telor Balado and Ayam Kalasan. Everything had the right level of spice, and great flavor. Do note that its a small restaurant, and will take some time to turn out your dishes. The woman serving us was extremely friendly. She, my table, and some other folks in the restaurant were Indonesian, which highlights the fact that you should broaden your horizons and get some indo food on your plate!
